Great price for a traditionally expensive product. The post-checkout experience was a little odd, but communicative: they repeatedly emailed to tell me the status of an order. The package arrived rather crushed and crumpled; it clearly had not been packed with as much protection as needed. However, the product was undamaged and worked perfectly. Overall, fast delivery, with a few hiccups, but a great price for a good product.

This company is the BEST. I placed an order and i got exactly what I orderd better then i thought i would get. Shipping was SUPER FAST. I CANT BE MORE HAPPY WITH A CELL PHONE COMPANY AS I AM WITH THRIFTYCOMPUTER. I RECCOMMED THEM TO ALL!!!!

I am very frustrated with this company. I ordered a phone on August 2, 2009 and I have still yet to receive it and it is August 13, 2009. There was a holdup and it supposively was not even shipped until 5 business days after I ordered it. Now 4 business days after it was shipped there still is no sign of it. I cannot get a customer representative to call me back or answer any calls. I will not use this company again.

I rate this company 0 out of 5 stars. On 08-04-09 I ordered a Palm Centro phone from them. On 08-05-09 I received an email from them that said my order had been successfully completed. On 08-06-09 the debited my charge card for the purchase price. On 08-12-09 I called the company because I had not received the phone. I was told that my order had been cancelled because they had determined that their inventory of Palm Centro phones was defective, and they had returned them to their supplier. I asked why I had not been notified about this, and they had no explanation. I asked why they had not credited my purchase price back to my credit card, and they said this had been done. I said there was no record of this refund on my credit card account web site. A few minutes later I received an email from them showing that the refund had been processed during my conversation with them on 08-12. Ironically, I also received another email from then at the same time stating that my order had been successfully completed. I called them again, and explained my concerns to a supervisor. He had no satisfactory explanation. I told him I had just ordered the phone from another on-line seller, and had paid $32.52 for overnight delivery, which I felt his company should pay because of their unsatisfactory handling of my order. He said they would consider sending me a check for half of that, or a little more. We'll see.

Delivered as promised. One of the best customer service. My emails got answered right away and additional follow-up was great.  
 
Shipped USPS. The retail box got smashed up a bit for it was mailed in soft envelope instead of a box. That can be improved.

I placed an order for a keyboard and mouse on 8/4. As of 8/11, I had received no follow-up and no tracking number. I called the 800#, couldn't reach anyone. I sent an email, received a generic response with a trouble number. So, I went to live chat and spoke with Kayla who says USPS has been losing many of their packages lately with no way to track. What? I'm not buying this for a second. Yeah, the PO might lose one on occasion, but why so many of Thrifty's. Still, she knows mine isn't lost, because it was just shipped yesterday. What a coincidence. Shipped the day before I called. She provided me with a tracking number that is coming up as not found on the USPS site. At this point, I'll believe my product will arrive when I see it land on my desk. I don't care what happens from this point, I won't use them again.

The owner of ThrithyComputer has made attempts to fix the situation with an old phone and my package delivery getting delayed. The late delivery is not their fault and the matter cleared up very quickly.  
 
Do not listen to the negative reviews, LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW.  
 
The owner of ThriftyComputers is VERY generous and kind to its customers. He does everything he can to try and fix the problem whether its a late delivery, an old phone. He even said he would pay me $20 since it was taking so long, and offered to cover my delivery cost.  
 
This is what makes a great business. Very good effort and I recommend this to everyone !!!

Ordered phone on july 29 2009 on aug 4 2009 called and said it went out this morning still no tracking has been able to be confirmed .I am getting the biggest runaround, do not get in a hurry when ordering from this company.ps. paid extra to get it here quicker

I received my phone in the mail on time, with everything included as promised. My phone works great, and am satisfied with the overall simplicity and efficiency of the service! I'll be back if I'm ever in need of another phone!

Thrifty computer is a scam operation. I ordered a cell phone never received it. Can not get a response via email or the 1-800 telephone number after contacting many times. Shipping # they provided does not exist either. I would avoid at all costs.

I ordered the LG phone a few days ago, received promptly. The phone seems to be defective though. I will talk on the phone, and then after a short time, I will hear static and the person on the other end can't hear me. My brother has the same phone, and his phone works fine. I will be contacting them about the issue, and see how they resolve it.

My experience with thriftycomputer.com did not start well, but ended quite positively.  
 
I ordered a new phone, but I received a used one. After learning about the problem, the fellow at thriftycomputer.com asked me how I wanted the situation resolved. I decided to keep the phone, but got a sizable refund to reflect the fact that it was used. So overall, I certainly got great value for my money. However, caveat emptor.

Good prices, good quality merchandise. Wonderfully helpful customer service. I had to exchange two cell phones I bought and this company made it painless. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for items they sell. Competitive pricing and exceptional customer service. I will be doing business with them again.

Slow shipper. Ordered on 9/6/09 and received on 9/17/09. They do seem to stand behind their products.
