Delivered as promised. One of the best customer service. My emails got answered right away and additional follow-up was great.  
 
Shipped USPS. The retail box got smashed up a bit for it was mailed in soft envelope instead of a box. That can be improved.

I placed an order for a keyboard and mouse on 8/4. As of 8/11, I had received no follow-up and no tracking number. I called the 800#, couldn't reach anyone. I sent an email, received a generic response with a trouble number. So, I went to live chat and spoke with Kayla who says USPS has been losing many of their packages lately with no way to track. What? I'm not buying this for a second. Yeah, the PO might lose one on occasion, but why so many of Thrifty's. Still, she knows mine isn't lost, because it was just shipped yesterday. What a coincidence. Shipped the day before I called. She provided me with a tracking number that is coming up as not found on the USPS site. At this point, I'll believe my product will arrive when I see it land on my desk. I don't care what happens from this point, I won't use them again.

The owner of ThrithyComputer has made attempts to fix the situation with an old phone and my package delivery getting delayed. The late delivery is not their fault and the matter cleared up very quickly.  
 
Do not listen to the negative reviews, LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW.  
 
The owner of ThriftyComputers is VERY generous and kind to its customers. He does everything he can to try and fix the problem whether its a late delivery, an old phone. He even said he would pay me $20 since it was taking so long, and offered to cover my delivery cost.  
 
This is what makes a great business. Very good effort and I recommend this to everyone !!!

Ordered phone on july 29 2009 on aug 4 2009 called and said it went out this morning still no tracking has been able to be confirmed .I am getting the biggest runaround, do not get in a hurry when ordering from this company.ps. paid extra to get it here quicker

I received my phone in the mail on time, with everything included as promised. My phone works great, and am satisfied with the overall simplicity and efficiency of the service! I'll be back if I'm ever in need of another phone!

Thrifty computer is a scam operation. I ordered a cell phone never received it. Can not get a response via email or the 1-800 telephone number after contacting many times. Shipping # they provided does not exist either. I would avoid at all costs.

I have given this company every possible chance to make this right and they cannot deliver  
 
STRONG recommendation to STAY AWAY from Thriftycomputer.com  
 
1st unit would not charge - they sent a battery after about 10 days which didnt help - i sent the unit back and about 15 days and several phone calls later they sent replacement  
 
the replacement charged fine and looked great but Verizon said MEID was invalid and phone can NOT be activated - Per thrifty returned overnight - said they would reimburse me shipping (they HAVENT)- about 15 MORE days and after more phone calls i finally received another and again, invalid MEID and cannot be activated  
 
so now i am out almost $30 in return postage - and have a paperweight - they said its Verizons fault and they would send another - but its not here 2 weeks later - i give up. They promised to reimburse me the return postage but they have taken no steps to do so. Verizon stated that the MEID number was fraudulently modified (verizons exact words)  
 
 
a last note - site clearly states the phone is brand new - the sticker on the last 2 phones stated the date of remanufacture - this really wouldnt be a problem to me if the thing would work - but the site is inaccurate or deceptive - be warned that the owner stated clearly to me that these phones have NO MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY - you got thriftys 30 days and thats IT

I ordered the LG phone a few days ago, received promptly. The phone seems to be defective though. I will talk on the phone, and then after a short time, I will hear static and the person on the other end can't hear me. My brother has the same phone, and his phone works fine. I will be contacting them about the issue, and see how they resolve it.

It has been a week, My product has not shipped from Thrifty Computer. There has been no indication of back order or any indication they are making an attempt to ship my product. All I know is they took my money and so far I have nothing to show for it. I have been told they are shipping my product today Tuesday and Friday this week - we will see. I rate this company verry poor. If you are used to getting what you need and be able to track it get it at tiger direct.

My experience with thriftycomputer.com did not start well, but ended quite positively.  
 
I ordered a new phone, but I received a used one. After learning about the problem, the fellow at thriftycomputer.com asked me how I wanted the situation resolved. I decided to keep the phone, but got a sizable refund to reflect the fact that it was used. So overall, I certainly got great value for my money. However, caveat emptor.

Good prices, good quality merchandise. Wonderfully helpful customer service. I had to exchange two cell phones I bought and this company made it painless. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for items they sell. Competitive pricing and exceptional customer service. I will be doing business with them again.

Slow shipper. Ordered on 9/6/09 and received on 9/17/09. They do seem to stand behind their products.

What a great company, the support representative was incredibly helpful and the package shipped on-time. Not too mention the fact they were the cheapest online seller. I would definitely recommend Thrifty Computer, as a matter of fact I already have.

I received the item I ordered pretty quickly. So far it appears to function well, looks new for a refurbished item. So far I am satisfied with Thrifty computer, they kept me up to date during the shipment process. I would definitely recommend Thrifty Computer.
