I rented the Pentax 60-250mm zoom lens for our family vacation. The lens arrived a day before I expected it, which of course I didn't have to pay for! :) Returning the lens was super-easy as well. The only thing that surprised me was the lack of a pelican case since I read that other renters received their lens in one. Mine was in a cardboard box with several pieces of eggcrate foam and the Pentax soft bag (very adequate protection for shipping nonetheless, but a pelican case would have been a bonus as I was travelling with the lens--in the US of course!). This was one of the best experiences I have had renting any product! I rented a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and I was very impressed with the ease in setting up the rental and especially in the condition of the lens and the packaging. The lens was flawless, not a scratch and everything to keep it in good condition was included. I recommend this company very much and will use them again, and I know which one I will rent! Rented a 70-200 F/4 IS from Camera Lens Rentals. It was supposed to arrive on Saturday but ended up 2 days early on Thursday! I was kind of expecting a "decent" copy of the lens being that it was a rental but you could not tell the lens was used at all. Excellent copy! Provided some great shots at Cannon Beach & Crater Lake! Came with a UV filter, end caps and the hood. Service was top notch! Provided detailed instructions on the return and what to do in the event of an accidental damage to the lens. Hope to do business with them again on my next trip out of town! Thanks!!

I rented a 100-400mm Canon lens for a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. The lens arrived exactly as promised, a day before we left. It was in constant use for a week as I got great shots of moose, bears, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, pronghorn, eagles and more. We spotted a grizzly far up on a slope -- barely a dot to the naked eye, but at 400mm I got a perfect, clear shot. On another occasion, a black bear lumbered onto a trail 30 feet in front of us. Even as we were carefully backing away and successfully shouting the bear off, the lens allowed me to keep shooting sharp pictures at the same time. Your service made a special trip even better because of the memories we were able to bring home. Returning the lens couldn’t have been easier – with the prepaid shipping, I just dropped it at a FedEx location on the way home. As we continue our quest to visit and photograph as many national parks as possible, CameraLensRentals.com definitely will be part of every trip.
