Update 2: The camera was defective out of the box. It kept taking fuzzy pics, so I sent it to Minolta and they fixed it. I have a feeling MPSuperstore sells items returned to other stores.
===============================
Update: I got the camera about 10 days after ordering. Although it was not shrinkwrapped, it appeared to be new and it works. The camera has an "international" warranty but I can't tell for how long. I've read on other sites it's a few months rather than a year. Overall, I'm not excited about MPSuperstore but I did get what I paid for in a reasonable time.

In spite of the other bad comments, I decided to let Amex protect me. So far, I got the email hinting that something was wrong with my order:

I called them and was on hold about 10 minutes. Then the salesguy started to lie. He said they didn't have my zip code (they did). He said that Best Buy gets their stuff from MPSuperstore!?!? (How outrageous is THAT?!) Then he proceeded to insult me when I didn't want his overprice filters. <Sarcastically> "Oh you've owned this camera before so you know you don't need this to protect the lens..." After about 10 "No thank yous" he finally gave up.
