I ordered an xl2 video camera, a tripod, an extra battery and a second day delivery, everything for $3520.00 I was suppose to get it on Friday the 28th, for all those whom might want an extra information the sales representative gave me his cellular number ( its been off since they close down but still it might help) (718) 404-2705.  
HELP PLEASE!

I ordered a $1123 LCD TV and after having to call them and after refusing to buy extra accessories they assured me that the order was gonna be ship on monday july 24th. I called again to get the tracking information and they told me that it was gonna be shipped for sure on july 25th. I called on july 26th and I got the famous message saying that they are now out of business.  
PLEASE HELP!!! What can I do? Does Visa protects me against this kind of FRAUDS??

I placed an order for a Canon PowerShot S2 IS through MPSuperstore on July 20th, and they charged my credit card for it on July 24th.  
 
They tried to get me to buy extras in a subsequent phone call, but took "no" for an answer and said it would ship that day.  
 
I tried to check the order status today, only to find that they had gone out of business. I sent them an email to the address listed on their "going out of business" page (which is apparently their entire website now) asking what was going on, but have received no reply.  
 
I just called the company phone number listed on my receipt, and it just repeated the "going out of business" mantra, with no way to talk to anyone.  
 
Does anyone have any other way to reach these bums?

Never buy from this store!  
I bought a Canon S2 from this place, because of the cheap price.  
They made me call them to 'confirm' the order.  
First they tried to sell a bunch of accesories.  
When this failed, they said that it was out of stock.  
 
So I canceled the order, and then they didn't cancel my credit card transaction.  
 
Update 7/27  
 
They charged me 3 time on my credit card, with the order I had canceled!  
Then they went out of business...  
The bastards!

Ordered on 7/20. Was tortured on phone to buy  
accessories on 7/20 evening. My credit card was  
charged on 7/20 evening. The product has not  
shipped until as of this writing(7/25 8am).  
When I call..it takes a while for someone to  
pickup..by mistake even if they pick up they put  
me on hold and it takes a lot of time before some  
one told me that my order is expected to be  
shipped on 7/24. I am not sure what is still  
instore for me on this order. I guess my best  
bet is to place a dispute with the credit card  
company.  
 
Update on 7/26  
Was told that the camera is on backorder...and  
wanted to konw if I would like to cancel my  
order and My credit card is already charged on  
7/20.  
 
Update 7/28  
Was told that order has been cancelled and will  
see the credit in 48 hours.  
 
Finally, this episode came to end. Would never  
even think of ordering again from this store.  
I should have read through the reviews before  
getting onto this.

Wow! Beware! I have never had such a negative experience with an online store. I actually ended up canceling my order it was so bad! You'll feel like you're being ripped off. It started with them calling to "confirm my order" (this is really just a chance to pressure you to buy more). They leave a message making you think there's a problem. At this point, I asked to make sure that my order would arrive before the weekend (5 days away) because I was going out of town and ordered the camera for this purpose. I was told that it would. Only at the last minute when I called to find out why the camera hadn't arrived was I informed that it was on backorder but had just arrived that day. When I called back 3 business days later to see if the camera had shipped yet (after my weekend vacation was ruined), I found out that the camera was still on backorder!! I was continually lied to by this company and am very disappointed. What was worse, it took them almost a week to refund my money after cancelling my order!

I placed the order online and received an email confirming the contents and price of my order. I received a second email indicating I must make a phone call to "confirm" my order and/or to "provide additional information." Upon calling in, a representative from the store proceeded to attempt to sell me additional software for my PDA as well as accessories. I repeatedly told him that I did not want to purchase anything additional; that I just wanted the PDA I indicated in my original order. The order arrived a day or two later than expected, which was bearable, BUT I opened the box to find that the store had sent a leather case with my PDA and had charged my credit card $30 for it. I did not authorize MPsuperstore to charge my card, and the store representative never told me over the phone that he was charging me an additional $30. I called into the customer service department and the same representative claimed I agreed to purchase the accessory and offered to give me a $10 credit. I had to be rather demanding and crass at which point they agreed to credit the full $30 to my account. I am satisfied since my credit card was refunded, but I do not appreciate the fact that they charged my card for an unauthorized purchase and then acted like it was my fault for the misunderstanding.

I wish I had seen these reviews before i purchased the camera from MP Superstore...I think they are running some type of "bait and switch" deal where your order your item online (for one of the lowest prices I found online), then they call you in order to "complete your order"...I had to call them back and I waited FOREVER on hold...then, they go into aggressive, used-car salesman sales mode - trying to get you to buy every accessory under the sun (i bought a digital camera and they tried to sell me a different, much more expensive memory card, carrying case, extended life battery, warranty, etc)...These people are slime! I will never, ever buy from them again.

Very disatisfied. Based on the ratings I found here which were middle of the range, I placed an order for a camera. Their web site indicated that they had the item in stock. Instead of receiving a shipping notice, I received an e-mail telling me I had to call by phone and verify my shipping address. Right. Instead, a salesman tried to sell me a bunch of overpriced accessories and an extended warranty. I politely declined any of the extras. He told me he would arrange to have the camera shipped. But nothing happend. No shipping notice. No indication on their web site that my order has shipped. So I sent them an e-mail asking what is going on with my shipment. After two days, no response. I then sent another e-mail cancelling the order. Still no response. ZIP, nada, nothing. I will never order from MP Superstore again and I strongly suggest that you don't either. From now on I will only order from legitimate, highly rated camera stores.

Please stay away from this store!  
They have by far, the worst customer service to date!  
 
I purchased a TV from MPSuperstore about 3 days ago, and called Customer Service yesterday in hoping to find out the status of my order. I spoke with Scott. I have never seen such terrible customer service. Expected wait time are more than 30 minutes, and they are extremely pushy in selling warranties.  
 
Please stay away from this store. I am hoping to cancel my order and have my money refunded. They charged me without letting me know and won't even speak to me.  
 
I will call American Express and report this as a fraud transaction. Please think twice before you buy from them.

MPsuperstore,This company is a complete scam. Soon after I ordered my purchase I felt uncomfortable with the company(they were very pushy)and cancelled it. my order was formally canceled with the company and bank yet two weeks later the amount I originally agreed to pay (little over $1,000) plus $200 extra was taken from my account. Customer service said it was a mistake and they would take care of it. NOTHING. 2 weeks later, the BBB, FTC and NY department of Justice and my bank are still trying to get my  
money back. I am disappointed that someone would put so much effort into scamming someone rather then putting the effort into a honest company. Before ordering from here please read all reviews from all the sites carefully.

Placed an order for an ibm laptop ($1500) on thursday night and had to "confirm" the order on tuesday. Defeats the whole purpuse of ordering online. Was meet with a rude CSR who then began to blow air up my ass by asking how I wanted the computer configured. When I placed the order, there were no options to configure the laptop but he said that I should have configured it when I ordered it. Tried to get me to upgrade this and that and gave me a bullshit remark about if I increase the ram size installed, it would boost performance up by 40%. I don't know where he has been but even doubling the cpu clock speed would only give you about a 10% increase in performance. I asked what modules he would put in and he just gave me a name of a manufacture. I wanted to know the specific model number and his response was, "Well if you don't trust me then just forget it, I don't want to make this complicated so just forget the memory upgrade!" He asked me if I had any questions and then promptly hung up the phone. Worst service I have ever had with an online retail store. (PART ONE)

Very good price on paper, but pushes extended warranty and accessories. Customer service lies, and refuses to cancel orders.  
 
On January 13th, I ordered a Samsung 46-in HLP4663W DLP from their website due to their excellent list price. This was my first order when them, and their online reviews, though unspectacular, was still full of praises from satisfied customers. The next day, I received a call to “confirm” my order and then salesman proceeds to try to up sell the extended warranty, useless accessories and when I refused, stated that my order would be delivered on the curb. I promptly cancel my order since I refuse to do business which such a company.  
 
However, to my horror, I noticed that by the 25th, they have not refunded my order and still shows it as “pending.” Their customer service said that I never cancelled and will have the salesman call me back, which they never did. If I never cancelled, one wonders how an order can be “pending” for 12 days.  
 
I will dispute the charge with my credit card company, but save yourself the trouble and never order from them. After reviewing the reviews, I noticed that they fall into two extreme categories, those who absolutely LOVE the store and those that HATE it. I have no proof, but I suspect their employees create false reviews, the poor reviews are the truth.

Another SCAM, after reading all the reviews and checking the Store Rating (3.1/5) I tried to call and make sure they have a Panasoonic PV-SG250 Camcorder available and with all standard items in a sealed box from Manufacturee, Answered Yes. So, I made the order online. 24 Houres later, I had a call trying to sell me more items, I answered I do have all of those Items you are trying to sell me. So, just send me my Camera and asked for delivery date, Answered 1 week. 48 houres of order time, got an email asking to call. I called and talked to Rudy S. and he simply said they are out of that model and I can choose something else. So I just asked to cancel my order and refund my money. But the question is, what they wanna do with my credit card number that they have now???  
 
Now, I think if you don't consider all those positive rating they have(which is probably written by themselves), their rating should be at least 0.0001 out of 5 not 3.1.

They completey lied about the terms of the warranty. then when I tried to return it, they gave me the run around. Now it is more than 10 day and they refuse to exchange or return, and an attitude instead of an appology. My order was for $5300, the warranties were $700.I buy 100's of Ipaqs per year. I will never work with MPSUPERSTORE again.
