The lens I attempted to hire became unavailable at the last minute, so the order was cancelled. After a month I received a refund and a profuse apology. I think this is probably a decent company, just a shame my experience was so fraught.

I hired a Canon 2x extender on 3 July and returned it 7 days later excellent product and service, but i am a bit concerned that it took you until the 7 September to examine and acknowledge that the returned extender was in good condition.What would have been the argument had it have been damaged?I think an earlier examination have been beneficial to all concerned.Apart from the criticism above a very good service and i would use again.

rented the EFS 10-22mm for a holiday trip. no problems with the online banking transaction, the lens came very early, before the xmas holiday period in a well padded box. lens hood and hoya uv filter included. lens worked without any problems throughout my trip. will definately rent again next time

Hired a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L.  
 
Only slight issue is the cost of postage - it's cheaper to arrange the return yourself, and it can soon add up to a decent chunk of the whole price you pay - but it's as fast as you'd expect, and well packed.  
The price of the rental itself is very reasonable though, much cheaper than Calumet and the service is much better.

This was my first time using LensesForHire, and I have to say the whole experience was excellent. As a beginner, I decided to ask for some help in choosing the correct lens. Stewart was exceptionally helpful and is obviously very knowledgeable in his field. He was able to explain why I was having difficulty using my current lens in the environment I was using it in and steered me onto a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens, which, needless to say, worked flawlessly! I will definitely use this excellent service again (and Stewart!).

Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR. The lens was exactly as expected...in full working order. It came with a high quality protective UV filter attached. The ordering and delivery process was highly efficient, the service excellent, the price very fair. What's not to like?!? Highly recommended.

I hired a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM lens for my trip to Kenya on holiday. The lens was excellent, delivery and collection on time and overall made it very easy for me to take a better lens than I could afford buy on holiday with me. Overall excellent service. I will definitely be using lenses for hire again.

Prices are competitive but it's the service that really impressed me. Very pleasant dealings with staff; lens arrived on schedule well packaged and returning the gear was very easy. I hired a Canon 500 mm IS L Series lens for a safari trip to South Africa. Would have no hesitation in recommending and would certainly use again myself.
