I ordered a dress and it says that you can get a refund on unwanted items as long as it is desputed within 48 hours. they took my money right away but have not even addressed my refund. the service ticket says that they will reply within 24 hours and it has been weeks now. my order went from pending the next day processing and as soon as I put a claim in paypal for fraud, they put it back to pending. NO explanation. I have written to them many times and have not recieved an answer, and when I go to their customer service chat, they say that they only deal with presale and that I should submit another service ticket. Also, I did some searching on the site and found a number, and I thought,"finally, now I'm getting somewhere." But when I called it, it rang once and hung up. called it back, it rang twice then hung up. And no one ever answers. I did a google search on the number and found out that it was used for another site called sellerkey and that it was never a working number. I have asked their customer service about this number and they never give me an answer. Everything that I have experienced with lightinthebox has been very bad. I just wish that I checked the reviews before actually purchasing from them. I am still waiting to hear from them and do not expect them to send me my item or give me a refund for it.

I was trying to keep my wedding frugal and these prices on bridesmaids dresses were really reasonable. But let me tell you, it has NOT been worth the effort spent with the hassle dealing with these people!! They are quick to take your money, but slow (if ever) to refund it! I placed an order for 4 bridesmaids dresses on 8/23, 3 of them standard sizes and 1 of them with specific sizes that they were to make. Their website says that should only take a few days longer. After a month of hearing nothing from them, I contacted them via live chat. They gave me a shipping date. Well, that day came and went--no shipment. I contacted again--given another date. Still no shipment. And both times, I was asked to provide my email address and the agent would contact me within 24 hrs with an update. Never did. Finally, the third time, I was told that they could make the 4th dress!! and that I must choose a standard size, place another order for it and they will just reimburse me for it as part of the first order. Because I needed the dresses immediately, I complied. Finally I got my dresses, but I have not yet recieved my refund nor any responses as to when they will. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!

These guys are definitely scammers!
Its about a month now since I ordered and
paid for my stuff.
After 15 days of my order when I asked them about it, they
told me that one of the items is not available and they're gonna refund me the
money.
I got a refund by PayPal for the item in a couple of days after
that.
Now after 10 more days I asked them about the shipment, they told me that
Another item is not available no more.
Since PayPal gives me a 45 days of gap
to open a dispute, those SOBs are trying to stall so I couldn't open a dispute
and temporarily suspend their PayPal account.
Hell, I'm willing to go to VISA,
MASTERCARD and all those other Bozo's who certified them!
If you guys wanna
screw'em HARD, I'd recommend piling up complaints to PayPal, VISA, Mastercard,
AMEX to stop or suspend their incoming source to make them MOVE.

I ordered my wedding dress from Light in the box. After searching locally, I found the dress that I wanted was well over my price range. That did not include alterations to the dress. I went to their website and got my dress for half the price! They also altered it before it was shipped! It only took two weeks for delivery (which was less than what they had suggested). My dress got here, and I tried it on, and it was a perfect fit! My wedding couldn't have been better without this dress! It was also very easy to track where my dress was upon deliver! Thank you so much Light in the Box!

I think it is a great site, they arrange their products in such a way as to make it easy for the consumer to navigate to the right place. they even have a place on their site where they group product based on price and make which makes it easier for internet newbie to locate their product of choice. The follow up was great also. Since there are no perfect websites, they can still become better. they should edit non functioning links and maybe they can have a short survey on customer satisfaction.

I ordered some spy camaras from this company, not only did I get what I ordered I got great support after purchase, I purchased the spy watch and pen cam.Both work great best purchase I ever made. I own a personal care home in West Virginia and owners if you think the mice dont play while we are away , buy one try it id almost pay you for it if you dont like it. Thanks Mark Grove

I bought my wedding dress with Light in the Box Limited and I have no complaints, none at all. The dress came as order, I mean exactly as I saw it in the picture. The same color, and they made it with my own size. As the shipping concerns, it came very quickly, inside the frame of time that they give me. And I get the dress in a big box, very clean I must say! I would totally buy again there!! Come on , it was my wedding dress!!

Light in the Box is a very good online store. I bought my Junior Bridesmaids dresses there and it was customized. When I received the dresses, they fit perfectly! I was so happy and very impressed. Nevertheless, when I brought it to the dry cleaner, they asked me who made it because the seams were really good. So, I asked my Bridesmaids to buy their dresses there too. I give it 5 stars for their work. It was really worth buying there.

Iordered five dresses from light in the box.4 of the dresses were beautiful and fit perfect but one i didnot like.I emailed them and i got 75%of the cost of that dress.Communication was excellent and customer service was very helpful. Their prices are reasonable.I'll definetly will be buying from them again.Thanks Maude

I ordered my wedding dress from light in the box and was delighted with the whole service - my order was processed and shipped (from China to Scotland) within 10 days! The quality of my dress is second to none and I am amazed that anyone would consider paying over the odds for a designer dress when you can get even better from this site. So pleased with my purchase and would recommend this site to anyone.

I have purchased two items from this store. The first item was a watch which worked fine and was in perfect condition and i was very pleased with overall look and quality of the watch. the second item i purchased was cell phone, the cellphone was in an alright condition it arrived with a few scratches the overall quality of the phone is good and the touch screen is responsive. The only other problem with the phone is the battery life, if i am full on texting the battery life only lasts about 3hours and it is flat :( that's why they probably gave me two battery's. overall u are buying from china and what u pay for is what u get. overall i was pleased from buying from them. but the biggest thing for me was the phone battery is crap, i have never had and a problem with there shipping, there shipping prices are very cheap and fast. WARNING!!!!
Don't take a chance on losing your money. I strongly suspect that any positive reviews are posted by employees of LightInTheBox. After over a month, and one response to my two requests for a reason this simple order was taking so long (they agreed on October 3 & said they would "definitely put a rush on your order"), I still have received nothing.
I asked for a refund if the suit didn't exist on October 17 and still have no response. They took my VISA money within minutes of sending the order....it seems strange they can't refund in a week. The correspondence is posted below (most recent first - I am M------).

O man, I thought that this site was too good to be true. And indeed I was right. The online catalog of the wedding dresses was amazing and they all looked beautiful. I couldn't wait to choose my dress and when I did...I was disappointed!!! The dress was not the same as it was in the photo or in the description at all!!! And when i contacted them to help me resolve this or at least exchange...they ignored! When I tried typing a review complaining about the dress they didn't even let it show up. I do not recommend this site at all!!! At first it sounds perfect and the service is great but once something goes wrong, they all just go wrong...don't let the prices fool you. Save your money instead of wasting on something you don't want. They don't allow bad reviews.

I have never ordered anything from the internet in my life and took the risk of ordering my wedding dress (crazy I know). I ordered a dress, custom size and in ivory colour on 6th April (along with 2 bridesmaid dresses) and received it perfectly packed. The package was so small and could not believe that 3 dresses were in it. When I opened it I was gob smacked! I could not believe my eyes. The dress is absolutely gorgeous (the picture really does not do it justice)! The dress has little pearls, sequences and beads scattered all over it and the fitting was just perfect! I’m seriously not an insider of Light in the Box, I am a genuine customer who is very happy with her purchase! Thank you Light in the box for providing such a nice product for more then half the price! I would defo recommend the website to others (and actually have done).

i found like in the box to be great.i ordered my wedding made to order and it was exactly what i got and more.i thought the dress was much nicer when i received then the picture,also i thought the on line chat was excellent I was dealing with william and he was great in one of the inquires i had he didnt understand adn i actually got a phone call from his boss in china who sorted out for me.I would highly recommend light in the box.
