I was completely ripped-off. They sold me a non-working used camera. No invoice, no warrantee, and no way to return the product. I'm now suffering financially because they stole over 3600.00 from me, and now I still need a camera for my projects.  
 
I don't understand why this company is still standing. This story isn't over.

they were one of the most easiest companies to deal with ive been dealing with them for couple years now

Here is my updated information on this company. Do not purchase from them. The state of New Jersey themselves have a lawsuit going on with them right now. IF you were ripped off file a complaint with New Jersey consumer affairs right away. Enjoy and good luck! P.S This information was provided by another website upon my research.

Everything you are seeing in this other reviews is true. This is only a bait and switch operation. If you do not order any of there significantly overpriced additions they will cancel your order. You can order online, but they will still force you to call them and wait on hold so they can pressure you into buying crap. $100 for a 1GB memory upgrade. Right... It's about $40 at any bigbox store. Their prices look great, but they won't sell you anything. Your order will magically be "out of stock" and your order will be cancelled via email.

I ordered the Canon Digital Rebel XT online AFTER CALLING TO VERFIY that the product was in stock. It was confirmed that this was in stock and would be shipped out immediately. The total price was $462.47-a steal of a deal. After giving my credit card number, etc, I was emailed 2 days later saying this item was on back order for approx 3 weeks...gee, it was just verified "in stock" and ready to ship. Also the sister compnay to this one said they had it "in stock" as well...But SURPRISE...was't in stock there either...BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS...I ended up ordering mine from a reputable place for $568.00 inc shipping. Over $100 more, but atleast I'm assured I'll have the product

I just bought a Nikon D200 with two Nikon Lenses from Express Camaras. I read all the bad stuff after I placed the order and admit that I was nervous. Was it a "Nordstrom's Personal Shopping Experience"? No! Did they up sell me on some items...Yeah. Was I in control of the purchase, Yeah! Bottom line, I received a brand new D200 with 2 lenses, verticle grip and all the little do dads for less thatn I could have bought the Body Alone for locally.  
 
Go in with your eyes wide open and you won't get screwed. Remember, they are in sales and are entitle to make a living as well. and if you are tired of being screwed quit assuming the position.  
 
All in all I'm a happy customer.

I read all the terrible reviews of the company, but my friend made a order with expresscameras and he was very happy, so I gave them a try,I called to ask a question about the camera rebate. The guy I talked to was so nice and informative that I went ahead and placed my order. He was extremely honest and there was no "back door" upselling. He also explained the extendend warranty and the fact that it was only $89 was quite a bargain. I would very highly recommend these guys and will buy from them again!!

Customer service on the phone not very helpful, but I got a great product at a great price. Also, it was shipped and delivered as promised!

These guys are nothing short of outstanding. Ordered from Jeff. He fell all over himself to help me out. Was very polite and the epitomy of professionalism. I received my Powershot S500 in a timely manner, brand new. I will *definitely* order from them again.

Based on a colleague's recommendation, I bought three camcorders and microphones for a shoot this weekend. Everything came on Wednesday in good shape, but one of the mics were defective. I called Customer Service and was able to arrange an "expedited exchange" that got me a new mic before the shoot, and they did indeed get me the replacement mike in time for the weekend. I would use them again.

Bought a Panasonic camcorder. Even the price was listed higher than some other stores on many price comparison sites, it is still hundreds less than the list price. Also, it has all the necessary accessories, which made the ordering very easy. When called in to confirm the accessories, was surprised with some other promotional deals. Some other stores I tried, either charges big extras for the same necessary accessories, or simply made you wait over two weeks to get the item when not purchase some other items they pushed. The expresscameras staff is very professional and patient, which made my purchase experience very pleasant, which is my first camcorder purchase."  

ExpressCameras can be proud of the young gentleman that took my order. He was courteous, efficient and friendly. ExpressCameras also beat the projected delivery date by one day. Overall, it beat any previous internet shopping experience that I have ever had.Yes if I need any of the products sold I will look to them first.  

I place an order for a Canon Powershot S1 from Express Cameras and then found these awful reviews. It created a fair amount of anxiety wondering if I would encounter the same problems as some of these reviews mentioned. I'm sorry that so many have had trouble. I, however, have had no such problems. In fact, the promotional items that were supposed to be included in my order were not shipped and after calling them to explain the items were shipped out and have been received. All other items were received within the timeframe stated and in excellent condition. Hopefully, this review will ease somebody else's worries and offset the negative balance regarding Express Cameras. Jeff T.

I contacted this store via phone and after ordering my Fuji S7000 camera, was contacted within 30 minutes of hte order to confirm that I was the one who actually ordered the product. GREAT SECURITY. During the same call, the sales person offerd me a free case with my camera,He assured me that the product would be sent out first thing in the morning. Due to a trip and my other camera breaking, I needed it right away. Shortly after walking into the office this morning, the camera was sitting there, waiting for me to pick it up. All the contents were in the box with the invoice. Everything was perfectly packaged and the entire experience was fantastic. Any time I need something that this company has, I will be purchasing it from them. The other nice thing,ExpressCameras had the lowest prices, which was a PLUS. FANTASTIC COMPANY, GREAT SERVICE.THANKS"
