Inspite of all the negatives here I ordered from this company, specially when I found they were only a 2 hour drive from me. I did not order online but called them and did some questioning. The person I spoke to, Crystal I believe, was very nice and seemed quite above board. I ordered a Win98SE disk on April 1, and had it in my hands on April 2 at 11am. It was sent UPS ground but as I live so close it really got here fast! It was packaged well and arrived in great shape and was just exactly what was advertised on their site and what I was told it would be. The disk was a genuine Microsoft disk. Works just fine. After my order I received an email conformation and then a shipping notice with a tracking number. All in all a very good experience. I think I will order from them again. almost a good sale, only when I Booted into the CMOS-BIOS I found that they sold me a 700 Mhz for the price of a 1.0 Ghz.
Terrible , that they treat a good customer like that. Maybe I should make multiples of this here rating, beef up the shoot-down,... naaa , just because the Merchant knew in their heart what they did to a good customer was Piss Poor of them, but they went ahead and did it anyway, that doesn't mean I should do the same,...A lot of customers should, in fact be angry what they do, but should maintain E-Receipts, so they can submit them to Their Court. Let the Court Rule in your favor. This review was modified by its author, rstrange, on

This company has a lot of bad reviews, but so far I've only had three problems with their service.
NUMBER 1: SHIPPING
Three business days from "order" to "ship" and then charge you for three day shipping? Ouch! Thats 6 days before you get your product and it costs more. If I'd known that to begin with I wouldnt have ordered from them.
NUMBER 2: ORDER STATUS
The order status on their horribly crafted site doesnt work. My items shipped and they still show "processing". Great.
NUMBER 3: PHONE SUPPORT
These guys absolutely will not answer a phone. I called from 11am central to 6pm and got nothing but voicemail. :(
Like I said, they've got problems. Overall I'd have to say I'm very dissatisfied with the service. I did get my product, but it's 3 days late and for those 3 days I felt like I was being ripped off because they wouldnt answer the phone.
This is very bad when you have deadlines.

Purchased an additional COA for a customer of mine that already owns an OEM version of Win2K Professional. Arrived as advertised via USPS media mail for less than $3 shipping. I would strongly recommend shopping with www.9software.com for anyone that has a specific software need.
Note: To the customer that posted below that Microsoft said that what they were trying to do wasn't legal, well, no offense, but if you posted your situation correctly, a Win2K OEM CD and Win XP COA stickers would NOT be acceptable, whereas, the Win2K OEM CD and Win2K COA stickers would be.

BEWARE!!!! NON LEGIT SOFTWARE
As a beginning reseller not knowing what I was doing, I purchased a windows 2000 prof disk and 3 COA stickers for Windows XP. Paid $222 for the four purchases. Started getting suspiciouse about legal issues concerning COA stickers without the disk. Just so you all know, Microsoft doesn't consider a liscenced product by COA sticker alone. Called Microsoft to ask them about the legal terms of just a CD or just a COA.. According to Microsoft both COA and matching original CD are required to be a legal owner of there software and that just one or the other is considered pirating. Microsofts office was egger to have me send in the products for investigation, so they could persue legal issues with #9 Software. I was conned out of $222 of useless cd's and stickers. #9 Software does not allow return on these products, I'm sure because they already know these items are not legal. So don't be a sucker like me.. If your gonna buy an Microsoft OS without a CD, or without a CD, you just as well go to Kazaa.com and pirate it, same story except #9 Software charges money for useless stuff. The CD was okay, but remember not legal... MICROSOFT DOESN'T GIVE YOU RIGHTS TO THEIR SOFTWARE THIS WAY!!! I figure any company that deals in this manner is only looking for idiots to spend money on illigal software products like myself. So of course I will never do business with them again... If you do plan on buying from #9 Software I seriously advise you to make sure your getting a legal edition of the software your buying....

I bought a Windows XP COA License and a copy of Turbocad v7.0 to upgrade from my current Turbocad v5.0 version from #9 Software. The products were just as indicated on their website, they were delivered quickly in a properly packaged box. I installed and activated Windows XP Home with no problems from a Windows XP OEM disk that I use for the latest systems that I have built. The COA came in a handwritten standard envelope which was a little disconcerting but no problem in any case. I would purchase from #9 software again.

I really like these guys... Most of their products are OEM but that's just fine because I don't need the warm fuzzy feeling of a retail box and Most software has help built in so that you don't really need a manual... I bought a full version of Win98 SE for 60 bucks... When I found out that the ATI All in Wonder 128 doesn't support it, I bought the WinME upgrade for 35 bucks... This adds a little more time to a clean install but works just as well... I paid $1.89 for shipping each time via USPS... It's a little unnerving waiting and not knowing when exactly your package will come in... However, this is why they tell you if you absolutely must know where it is at all times to go with UPS... I will stick with USPS for under 2 bucks... It only took like a week for it to come in... I would gladly do business with them again... Awesome prices... :)

I purchased a Windows XP Home Upgrade COA from this reseller for $50. It was shipped one day later, and they notified me by email. Due to the memorial day weekend, it took UPS a little longer than advertised to ship the item, but it arrived exactly as described, well packaged (a small box) and is a great deal. The COA was obviously the genuine microsoft article, and it installed and registered correctly. I am completely happy with this shipper, and will do buisness with them again.

I ordered their $9 Nero. too cheap to be true but it was a recent version and other said good things about #9 so I did it. With shipping its was $15. However, I ordered 2nd day UPS ($1 more than ground) but they some how lost it. They only charged me for ground so no big deal. well, I got it a day late (UPSs fault, I guess). The worst part is that it is a DAMN DEMO product. It only does 1X burning. This was no where on the web site (I went and checked before doing this review). What a bunch of cheats. The got $15 of my money. Since its a tiny amount of money, I'm not going to waste my time but I hate these jerks and will never ever buy from them again. On tuesday I ordered an iRiver SlimX for the cheapest I could find, and it came with free shipping and 10 free cds. I got a confirmation e-mail the same night, and it said it was being shipped. So, I figured they'd send me an email when it'd been shipped. Well, that wasn't happening...so I checked the website, and where it said "Status" (of my order), the field was blank. So I've just been waiting for something to happen, until today (Friday), I come home to find the package is here! Excellent shipping speed (ordered it Tuesday night at about 9:30 pm, so it must have shipped Wednesday), and it was free! Can't argue with that. It was just a little unnerving about the whole not knowing what's going on thing. Also, I haven't received my 10 free cds, but they said it would be shipped seperately, so it's probably not their fault. Also, this was the cheapest deal I could find, so it wouldn't break my heart if I couldn't get the free cds. I'd order from them again.
