Purchased an Xbox 360 w/ 3 games bundle for $399. Was shipped the incorrect model of Xbox 360. Contacted customer service and was told they would overnight me the new one but would need to put a charge on my credit card and then would remove the charge when I shipped the old model back. It has been 4 weeks since then, they have scheduled DHL to come out twice and I have waited 8 hours total for DHL and they have not shown up. Customer service wants me to foot the bill to ship it back and have them reimburse me later. I have asked to speak with a manager but have not been called back despite assurances I would receive a call within the hour. Terrible. I will not ever use frys.com again.

SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAMMING COMPANY!!
I ordered a Panasonic TH-58PZ700U. Fry's had it listed for $200 less than any other vendor. I read reviews here saying that Fry's/Outpost would say an item is in stock and then say it wasn't....or delay shipping on and on and on. This is exactly what happened to me!!
The item was listed as shipping the same day and that it was in stock. The sales person assured me it would ship later that day and I would have the tv in five business days. Well after three days of no email confirmations and numerous phone calls, I was told that the item was not in stock and that they wouldn't know when more would be in stock. This is EXACTLY what other reviewers said would happen! By the way, I was told by a number of customer service reps that my item would "ship later that day" each time I called to check on the status of my order...DON'T BELIEVE THEM UNTIL YOU GET A TRACKING ORDER!!
I canceled this order, told them to not even think of charging my card, and said that I would most likely call the BBB for misleading sales practices. Although I only waited three days, they were three wasted days. Normally, I might have waited longer in order to try and get the $200 better price, but again, after reading negative reviews on this site and others about this SHADY company, I decided to cut my losses so to speak.
DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE...DON'T WASTE ANY TIME WITH THIS LYING SCAMMING COMPANY. THEY SUCK!!

I ordered a Sony Vaio SZ430 on Wednesday, received a delay of shipping because the shipping address was not the same as my billing address, so I called before 9am on Thursday to verify the shipping address. The customer service agent assured me that it would be released and shipped out that day. It was not, in fact it wasn't even released the NEXT day after I called again, that agent, said that she would release the package. However, it was shipped 2 day instead of OVERNIGHT as I originally ordered. The agent confirmed that if it was released on Friday, that day, that the package would arrive on SATURDAY. It's Sunday and my package has not arrived and according to my account I'm being charged for overnight delivery.
Do NOT order from them, even if they do have the best prices it is not worth the time of having to constantly call to follow up on the order.

I recently bought a PNY 7950gt from frys.com. It was DOA, and I figured I'd return it and get a refund. Boy, was I wrong! I will tell you right now, DO NOT BUY FROM FRYS.COM. I AM STILL am waiting for a refund,, even after it arrived to them on July 30th. Oh, and here’s the reason I’ve been given for the last week, I quote "we have not received your return as of yet" even when I have a signature page from Fedex, Clearly showing they have received it! Heck, they received it on July 30th! Customer support has been a joke that simply blows you off saying they will contact you when they never do. I never knew this company was so shady, now I know. Simply, beware this company because they’ll screw you over on returns and won’t give you your money back.

Sends a refurbished Powerpack for the price of new one. Returned the product back to the seller. Lost $30 in shipping charges. Would never shop again at frys.com.

ordered a samsung 20" lcd monitor on 6/26/07, invoice stated it was being shipped insured USPS with tracking number, when i looked up the tracking on the usps website they had no record, waited 10 days called customer service, I notified them I had not recieved my package, customer service told it was delivered on July 3,2007 shipped via DHL with same tracking number, yet on the invoice it indicated it was being shipped USPS, all this time I am trying to track my package on the USPS site. Verified on the DHL site my package was delivered to the wrong address. Filed lost claim with the customer service on Saturday July 7, 2007, followed up on Monday July 9, 2007, in between that time sent several e-mails to customer service which went unanswered for a week. Since then made several more calls to customer service spoke customer rep Darwin, PAT, Nicole, Patricia they all seem to read from the same script, it would take 15 business day to credit my account, eventhough it had been more than 15 days. I demanded to speak to a supervisor, each time they told someone would be contacting me, not once did any one call me back, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, SHADY OPERATION. It is July 31,2007 today, more than a month after I placed the order, my issue is still unresolved, customer service is incompetent, very unhelpful, could not provide me with a name and the contact information of anyone who could resolve my issue. Still waiting to be credit $317.01

I ordered an hard drive and it was lost by DHL in shipment. I requested a substitution from Fry's but they refused to send a substitution. Now I have to wait 15 business days for a refund although DHL confirmed the package has been lost. This review was modified by its author, radiotech, on

I purchased a 22" ViewSonic LCD from Outpost.com.
My package arrived on time,however after using the lcd for only 2 days, I noticed a dead-pixel on the screen. I called the customer service number and asked if I can bring it to the nearest store and have it exchanged. Sadly speaking, the representative said that the supervisor told her that one dead-pixel on lcd is not considered a damage good and therefore I will need to pay the shipping fee in order to have it exchange (since at this moment their policy requires any item purchased on line MUST be exchanged in the warehouse).
The supervisor can easily said that one dead pixed does not make an lcd a damage good, because it's not his/her money that his talking about. I pay over $200 for this item and has been charge a shipping fee for $18 and now they asked me to pay another shipping fee because they sent me an lcd with dead pixel. No one, who has paid $250 lcd, wants a dead pixel on it. I have used my other smaller lcd for almost two years and they DON'T EVEN have a dead pixel! I am so disappointed with Fry's.com. I thought I am getting a real deal, but if I knew it's going to be like this, it's not worth the price. I rather go to my local store and choose the lcd I want and I can instantly use it after it's purchased and if something goes wrong, I can easily go back to the store and have it exchange the same day! I will never buy anything anymore from Outpost.com!

I ordered an external hard-drive from FRY’S.COM. FRY’S.COM never delivered it. I filed a LOST PACKAGE claim, and since then FRY’S.COM has been impossible to work with. 1st call I made to check in on the status of the claim, FRY’S.COM said there was no claim. So I had to re-file. 2nd call I made, the person that handles this left for the day. 3rd call, the person was out to lunch. 4th call, the person no longer works their!!! 5th call, the customer service rep has no idea how to get in touch with the department that handles it. Last time I got a hold of FRY’S.COM, they said they would inquire with the delivery company(1 month later). Since then, I have asked around, and it’s funny how anyone I know who has ordered from FRY’S.COM has had a bad experience. I wish I knew then, what I know now. I ordered an Antec case and it was lost by DHL in shipment. I requested a new case from Fry's but they are out of stock on the same case. They would not do the right thing and substitute a different case in it's place. Now I have to wait 15 business days from a refund even thought DHL confirmed the case as lost.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I called customer service and was told that "we thought we were going to have more stock but we're not, so your order was canceled." They ran out of inventory within 30 mins after they posted on Dealnews? or more likely they priced it wrong.
In both ways, it shows poor management and bad marketing communication. What else left if an online vendor doesn’t have those?
Shouldn't even process my credit card before check their inventory.

They took my order, sent my order confirmation, and then cancelled the order. Their database does not track their stock, which is lame for an online vendor. Not recommended!

PURCHASED A COMPAQ COMPUTER ARRIVED DEAD ON ARRIVAL ~CAUTION~ THERE IS A NO RETURN POLICY ON FRY'S COMPUTERS. I TRYED TO SHIP IT BACK AND DELIVERY WAS REFUSED .
