I ordered from them for in-store pickup. I went to the store on the next business day to pick-up my order, and they told me, sorry, product went back on the shelf, and you have to pay $140 more if you want it.
Finally Frys.com came through and allowed me to purchase the product at the agreed upon price so I am satisfied This review was modified by its author, scottra, on

I have greatly enjoyed shopping with Fry's online. Shipping has been the fastest I've seen for regular ground rates, I generally receive my orders in either one or two days, despite coming halfway across the country. Fry's regular prices aren't the best, but when they have a sale, they have a SALE. I haven't had any problems with my orders, but if I did need to make a return, being able to do so at a Fry's store is a nice bonus.

I ordered an Atlantic 100-disc Organizer Drum on 1/12 at 4:30 PM EST, and chose the cheapest ground shipping option - I think the sales associate said it was 5 to 7 business days. The order arrived this morning, 1/13, at around 10 AM. Super service!

Superb service. Purchased Sony MP3 player from Frys - authorized dealer and $100 less than MSRP ($60 less than Amazon and similar competition). Ordered at 10pm eastern time with second day delivery, received NEXT DAY AT 1PM. I didn't even know that was possible.

I was a little skeptical about placing an online order through frys.com after reading some unsatisfied customers on here, but I thought I would give frys a try. I placed to separate orders about two weeks apart on a weekend, both were shipped and delivered to my door step on Monday. That is ridiculous, 1 day shipping! I was extremely happy, both items were packaged well and are in great working condition. I think its safe to say I will be ordering again from Frys.com

I purchased from Frys.com many times. They usually have some good deals. When shipping is bothersome, there is a new option called "Store Pickup" available. I can just go to my local Fry's to pick up the item. However, they once cancelled my order saying that they ran out of stock. They could've prevented that. Overall, I am very satisfied with Frys.com. I spent my Black Friday at Fry's. :D

First of all, this only applies to the Fountain Valley, California Fry's. Anaheim and City of Industry seem okay.
I ordered memory online for pickup at the Fountain Valley Fry's on the 17th. I get a confirmation saying it's ready to be picked up. I get there on the 19th and the cashier tells me they only have an opened one. He brought it out to me and it wasn't just opened, but half the packaging was missing. This is just plain unacceptable. Why give me a confirmation telling me it's ready to be picked up, have me drive and waste gas and time to go pick up used memory?
I've been here numerous times and usually the extremely poor service is tolerable as I know what I want and get it on my own. This time, the level of stupidity by both staff and management was too much for me to handle. This review was modified by its author, sisq0kidd, on

"Ground" shipping seemed high, $6.39 on a very light box of software. But, I was pleasantly surprised to see my order on my porch the next day. As long as the rebates get paid, I'm very happy.

I've purchased there before.. Most of the time orders go through and everything gets shipped, but they don't always honor orders..
They just cancelled my last order which makes me pretty upset.
Just send me email saying that 'due to overwhelming demand' they cancell it. Just like that.
Makes me upset wasting my time ordering and then nothing..
They're ok to buy from, just don't get your hopes too high.. This review was modified by its author, maciekmn, on

Ordered 2 TVs online. Both were available and in stock. I was given the choice of having them shipped for free or picking up at a local store. I chose the latter. Then, received an email at a later time that the local store did not have one of them in stock, giving me ONLY the option of canceling my order. By now, the online stock was out, and the local store won't honor the previous price when they do restock. They should not offer in store pickup if it is not in stock. Best Buy and Circuit City honor their prices, and give realtime stock updates. My experiences at Frys have been extremely negative in store, and this just reinforces my opinion.

I ordered a Panasonic phone combo as part of their Black Friday deals. I didn't get a confirmation until 5 hrs later. Then around 6 hrs later I get a cancellation stating that they had overwhelming demand and couldn't fulfill the order. How about an ordering system that has real time inventory so we don't waste our time and effort? They offered nothing as an alternative or a wait list for the item. Very poorly handled.

Love this store, will always shop here first before other online electronics' stores. First rate all the way. Caution!!! read all rebate rules before buying, I bought 4 memory modules but can only receive 1 rebate, thought I was getting rebates for all 4. Rebates denied for Lexar memory purchased from Fry's.
All requirements meet. Fry's customer service refused to assist in putting pressure on the manufacturer. This seems to be a scam. I will file a complaint with the FTC and BBB.
Beware when buying from Fry's. You may be scammed out of your rebate. My recommendation is to purchase from another outlet.
