I think I got a very good deal on this NEC 22" LCD monitor, Adorama certainly ships fast! , I got my LCD at Feb. 23, which is less than 24 hours for free shipping(I live in NH and Adorama's in NJ.) My overall experience on this monitor is great, the adjustable pivot is excellent, the 4 USB ports on the side of the monitor are handy, although it's annoying that I have to remove the attached usb devices every time I rotate the LCD to 90 degrees. After all, it's just a normal TN panel LCD, but the quality of the image and the handy design of the pivot and accessories are great comparing to other bargain TN LCDs. It's not 1080P, not HDMI, but I've got a big screen TV to handle the situations when I need those, so it's not a problem to me. I think I'd give 8~9 out of 10 to this LCD monitor. And 10 out of 10 for Adorama.

Beware of returning items to Adorama. I ordered 3 items from Adorama by phone (for Christmas) and since these items were for someone other than myself, I asked the salesman (MikeF) if there were any problems returning the items.He told me I would receive a "FULL refund" if I needed to returned them. He also told me that these 3 items each had "FREE" shipping. When I had to send 2 of the items back, because of fit, I was issued a refund to my credit card, but charged for the original "FREE" shipping! I called customer service and explained what I was told by the salesman and they told me "that's our policy". No refund of your "free" shipping.I told them IF I went on line to order I felt it would be MY responsibility to read about any return policy, but since I ordered by phone, shouldn't the salesman tell a person what Adorama's policy is when asked about returning an item ??? It's not that big of an amount, but it's the principal. I contacted my bank for a chargeback to my credit card and they refunded the amount to me, but did not take it from Adorama, because the amount was not worth the paperwork at less than $10. Adorama should have been a little more customer friendly, instead of penny wise & dollar foolish, because I probably will be shopping at B & H from now on. Thank you for your order and review. While we indeed do offer free shipping, it doesn't mean we don't have to pay the shipper. Had you returned it for an exchange you would have not gotten charged for shipping. Since you returned it for a full refund because of your error and no fault of ours, you do have to pay the shipping that it cost to have it sent to you. We clearly state that on the web and on your invoice. As you said you got the full refund of the item you returned. As far as another company goes...they do the same. Sorry for your dissatisfaction.

Timely delivery. Lights worked out of the box. Excellent products from which to choose. Excellent customer service. Wish I'd done the smart thing and purchased this studio from them, rather than the POS crap that cost me more, gave great aggravation, and took long time to get refund from other company.
Adorama ROCKS! Learned my lesson. Won't shop elsewhere.

Last year I found Adorama doing a Google search. I was looking for a very basic item, lens caps for my Canon EOS EF Lenses. Everything arrived in perfect condition. This was followed up by the purchase of a Canon Speedlite for my digital EOS bodies. The unit arrived in a factory fresh sealed carton. Next two purchases were lenses, one EF and one EF-S lens. Both excellent After all these previous purchases, I purchased a Canon EOS 5D MK II from Adorama with at 24-105L lens, a UV filter and a Circular Polorizer. Everything arrived perfectly. I had notified Adorma of such. Last year I purchased two other Canon bodies from a major mass merhandiser. I was pleased with them but when it comes to professional grade equipment, it is best to deal with a photography specialist such as Adorama.

I bought a new Canon 1EG professional gadget bag from Adorama, on Feb 14,2010. This bag is everything they siad it would be and more. I`m very pleased with the quality product, and superior service I received from Adorama. The price, was ver reasonable, and shipping, was extremely fast. I was notified of shipment on Feb. 15th, and received the bag aroud the 17th. Adorama, will definitely be seeing more of me in the future. They are most definitely, a five start company. I have made two major purchases with Adorama and I can verify that my experience has been more than wonderful: it has been error free and well worth the time, effort and money spent with this business. The customer service has been excellent. My orders have been shipped out the same day that I have ordered them. Please note, I have ordered my purchases before noon each day. I have only had one back ordered item. It was a sepia filter. All the major pieces of the camera outfit were in stock and on the way within moments from the "purchase" keystrike. SO, if you are looking to have a great experience while shopping for that camera outfit big or small this is the place to shop and make the purchase. THANK YOU ADORAMA!! I will be back for more, I am sure!!!

An excellent company to buy from. They have all the gear a photographer could ask for and then some. Their service is FAST and their communication was great. When I placed an order that included a backordered item, I had an estimated ship date for the backorder item. When they were within 4 days of that dae, and it appeared there was still a delay, I was contacted again. The item only shipped a few days after the promise date, but they respected me enough to tell me ahead of time. That counts huge in my book for great service. This was my 10th order with the company.

I recently ordered a pair of wireless headphones through Buy.Com and Adorama was the actual seller. Although the item showed to be In Stock on Buy.Com, I immediately received an e-mail from Adorama indicating the item was on Back Order and it would be several weeks before the item would ship. I was fine with that since Adorama was significantly cheaper than anyone else.
Two weeks later, my order was cancelled due to "a lengthy delay in delivery time". After reading previous reviews, I suspect they never had the item to begin with and couldn't deliver at their advertised price. Had I known that, I could have ordered from a reputable merchant, paid a little more and had my item in hand by now. Dealing with Adorama was a total waste of my time. This is my first and last experience with this merchant.

I am a professional photographer and I use Adorama almost exclusively. They have a comprehensive product selection for both the amateur and professional alike. Their customer service is 5 star, their products are exceptional and their shipping id extremely fast, most of the time my item arrives within 2 days even though the shipping estimate is between 5-7 business days. I shop at Adorama with the highest level of confidence.
