Adorama is one of those companies that does everything so well that they've practically set the standard by which other companies should be compared. To begin with, Adorama's stock is quite extensive so I never have to purchase photo supplies elsewhere. But while the stock is extensive it's presented in web pages that are quite manageable, preventing the buyer from be overwhelmed with choices. And I never have reservations about purchasing something that I'm unsure about, because Adorama has a "no worries" type of return policy. To finish, I've ordered photo prints from several places, but Adorama's prints were the only ones to have accurate colors (i.e., they look exactly as they appear on my calibrated monitor). Adorama's prints were also the only ones to be shipped in sturdy cardboard containers, not cardboard/paper envelopes that others use. If I were a professional photographer, which I'm far from being, I still would use Adorama as my one-stop-shopping for supplies and prints.
Adorama is my "go to" source for photography equipment. They always give fast and accurate service, and I've come to trust them through the many experiences I've had with them. I highly recommend Adorama!
I am very pleased with my order. My Salesman, Meyer, only took a couple of minutes to place the order, and it was here in 3 working days by UPS, in excellent condition.

From finding product, shopping cart, and payment Adorama made it easy. Once ordered, a shipping notice then tracking number were sent via email. Everything was as promised and advertised. I would definitely do business again.
Adorama has a top notch reputation for doing business, both in person, and on the internet. I consider them the first place to go when checking on pricing or new equipment.
My recent order with Adorama was just exactly what I expected from such a company. Everything was shipped out the same day I ordered (a Sunday). They communicated via email the status at all stages of the order and then sent the tracking number to monitor progress of shipment. Everything arrived in perfect condition as expected.
What else can I ask of an online retailer? They're simply perfect.
As always the order arrived promptly (within about 48 hours from California to Iceland - not bad) - if somewhat expensively (UPS charged over $80 for shipping a Nikon D3000 and a 10-24mm lens).
After placing somewhere between 20 and 30 orders with Adorama I frankly wouldn't consider shopping elsewhere for photo gear. A slower but cheaper shipping option would however be greatly appreciated - especially since we are charged 25% VAT on the total price INCLUDING shipping :-(
I had picked out a telescope mount to purchase, then started to shop around to see whom I might purchase from. I saw that Adorama had the mount on their website with free shipping and gave them a call to see if it was in stock. Spoke with Fred Wasser at extension 2259. He checked that it was indeed in stock and I was also able to place my order over the phone. I got fast shipping and the packing job was great! I was impressed. I am a satisfied customer for sure and will be checking them again when I'm ready to purchase something Adorama can supply. Great job Fred, I appreciate it.

Excellent service. No bait & switch or trying to sell me more than what I asked for. I caused a problem with the expiration date on my credit card and they fixed it with no delay. I am a repeat customer and unless they didn't stock something,I would see no reason not to keep shopping with them.
Two weeks ago I got my Canon Pro9500 MkII printer from Adorama. Spoke with a great rep (Norman Feldman) and he walked me through the process. The printer and accessories arrived quickly and the entire experience was very pleasant. I would recommend these good folks to anyone looking for virtually anything they might need working in the wonderful world of photography.

I ordered a camera which was not yet released in Aug. 2009. When it was released in Oct., Adorama did send the camera with no problems. I have ordered from Adorama for many years and have never had a problem with this company. They are one of the few photographic dealers in NYC that I feel confident in ordering from.
This order was Epson printer ink. Highly competitive prices and is shipping prompt and reasonably priced. I've done business with them off and on for years (decades actually) and always found them extremely reliable.
