I have purchased two camera lens at different times. I have to give this store one of the highest rating. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent.  
Both times I have placed my order on a week-end and the products went out early Monday morning, with a UPS tracking number.  
The first time it took a few extra days for it to get here but not the stores fault. The lens sat in UPS Indy warehouse for three days, because of the winter snow storm. The second I received in only three days, Wednesday and it was sent by ground shipping.

I've done many many deals online... electronics eTailers are notorious and camera shops are the worst of the bunch... 17th Street Photo is OUTSTANDING. Fast shipping, quality products, easy returns, and the best prices online.

Fast shipping and good packaging. Not much else to say; would order from again for photography needs.

I recently ordered a Nikon D80, SB600 Flash Set and Upgrade/Add On Accessory Kit from 17th Street photo. The experience was great and mostly based on the reviews from resellerratings.com.  
 
I had purchased a previous Digital Camera from Buydig.com but decided to go with 17 Street due to more Camera/Lens options.  
 
Overall, I am very Pleased and the merchandise came in promptly with 2nd day Delivery option. My only semi complaint is camera bag in accessory kit is ill suited for D80 and will not hold flash with Camera. I am also wondering if DSN has better deals with their lenses / and crazy accessories they include in bundles, but wasn't sure of their reputation.  
 
Overall, I am pleased and would recommend to a friend.

A new Great photo shop for me. Yesterday I ordered a Nikkor 85mm 1.4 lens. Today it was delivered. Spoke with Dov - a real gentleman. No pressure whatsoever, very honest man. He physically checked that the lens was in stock beforehand. I had read the previous reviews here about 17th St. Photo - and that's what convinced me. Excellent packing - all USA materials delivered with the lens. Perfectly new and pristine. As good as it gets.  
I'm always nervous about dealing over the phone for the first time, especially with Photo shops - but 17th is as good as B&H & Norman Camera. Very Very Pleased!

I ordered an Olympus FL-36 flash unit and Sto-Ben bounce on a Wednesday morning. It shipped that evening and arrived three business days later (just as it was supposed to as I selected UPS 3-day shipping). Price was very, very reasonable, shipping was reasonable and the amount I saved in not having to pay sales tax more than paid for the shipping cost. This was my first order with 17th Street Photo and I'm pleased. They did exactly what they were supposed to do; filled and shipped my order in a timely manner. As a matter of fact, I just ordered from them again today.

I received shipment of a Nikon D200 on Friday, March 30, 2007. Due to my schedule, I was unable to do anything but testing for basic functions when the camera arrived. A few days later, I discovered after thorough testing that it appeared to have banding and front focus issues that do not conform to Nikon's spec. This discovery was made after the return period had expired. I wrote to 17th St. Photo and related all of the above and concluded with, "I understand that you have a 7 day policy on returns, but I am asking for some consideration. I would prefer to exchange the D200, not return it for a refund."  
 
A RA# was issued and, after speaking to a rep on the phone, a new camera was sent out immediately (with free shipping) so that I would have the new camera in hand before I sent the old one back. When the returned camera was received by 17th St. Photo, a credit was issued promptly to my credit card.  
 
Excellent, prompt service by a professional, courteous staff.

To any and all potential customers, feel at ease when shopping with 17th Street Photo.  
I have been shopping here for many years, the prices are excellent, the people that work there are excellent esp "Dov" and all the Tech people.  
I always have a half dozen questions about the product I intend to purchase, This time it was a Nikon D80 Digital SLR Camera, The help was excellent, fact filled with all my questions answered. And the shipping was unbelieveable I ordered Monday night, and had it in my hands Thursday morning, with everything included.  
I stand by 17th street Photo 100% They are above and beyond excellent !!!

There are a lot of bogus camera "companies" running out of the New York area and "17th Street Photo Supply Inc." most definitely NOT one of them. I couldn't possibly be more pleased with my transaction!  
 
After much research (and filtering through the bogus low prices posted by the scam artists) I decided to purchase my Nikon D80 kit along with some accessories from 17th Street Photo. They had the best legitimate price and their ratings were good on resellerratings.com. I was a little hesitant about buying it online but I felt sure that I had done my research properly and made the deal.  
 
I made my purchase ($1,245.09) late on Sunday night. The following morning at around 10:30am I got a call from New York and I was braced for the "upsell" I had heard so much about in reviews of other companies. To my surprise the person on the other end of the phone was courteous and professional with no hidden agenda. He simply confirmed the order and shipping address then thanked me for my order. He then told me that it would be shipped immediately.  
 
They shipped it Monday and I received the package on Thursday which is amazingly fast from NY to Texas. Everything was well packed and exactly as I ordered it. No mistakes, no damage, no open boxes.  
 
I ordered my gear on Sunday and had it on Thursday with no hassles. 17th Street Photo Supply has my business forever.  
 

What a great store. I ordered on Wed morning and the items were delivered on Thursday morning less than 24 hours later. Did my research online and was ready to place the order. Called to confirm the items (D-80 & mb-d80 grip) were in stock. fast pleasant personnel who advised me they could place my order a save a little time and shipping costs for me. No upselling pressure just gentle reminders or facts. Items received in great shape. Couldn't have been a better experince. I'll be back!!!

Excellent ordering experience. Good price on a pair of binoculars. Two day shipping cost a bit high, but that was my own choice. The website tracking is clear that if ordering after-hours, that it will take 2 days for the tracking info to show up. Their follow-up email with the UPS tracking number was on time. Will be happy to order from 17th St again.

WOW i ordered a Garmin StreetPilot C330 from 17th street photo supply on March 19th and when did i get it March 20th. I was not expecting such a fast delivery. I was not sure about ordering online like this but now i will be sure to come back to this store whenever i need electronics or whatever else they sell you can trust them.

Quick turnaround time on shipment. No pressure to purchase extra items. Excellent transaction.
