Found 17th Street Photo on BizRate. They were among the low price vendors for the Canon Powershot s30 digital camera I was purchasing and had high ratings. I had heard that some low priced vendors will attempt to push high priced accessories on you in order to make up for the low balled camera price. I found this vendor's accessory prices reasonable, which led me to believe that they would not engage in this type of practice. I ended up ordering the camera, a 128mb compact flash card, and carrying case. I ordered on Friday. A confirmation email was sent right away and later that day a shipping notice with tracking number. Three business days later I received all the ordered items. The transaction was quick and painless. This vendor will be my starting point in all future camera purchases. One small nit--the packaging of the items was standard--cardboard box and peanuts. I would prefer they double box for maximum protection.
