I decided to buy a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ-28 camera.  
 
This company had the best advertised price ($269). So, I called on 6/22/09 to place an order.  
 
Man, the salesman tried the sell me a ton of accessories - before long the tab was over $450. I insisted I only wanted the camera and nothing else.  
 
Around and around we went, him selling and me declining. Finally, I got fed up and said, "Just cancel the order."  
 
Then, he said he would have to charge me 20% for "wasting his time." I said, "all I wanted was the camera, you wasted your own time trying to sell me crap I didn't want, just forget I called!." I was angry by now.  
 
I didn't think it would happen, but he finally sold me the camera for 269.00 + S&H. It ended up setting me back 288.99 (still $10 cheaper than anywhere else) - But he didn't give me a confirmation number before he hung up, In fact, I wasn't real sure I actually got the camera ordered.  
 
So, I called back and said I wanted to lodge a complaint about the way I was dealt with. The person I talked to apologized and gave me my confirmation number.  
 
A little later I got an email telling me that UPS had it and it was on its way. I checked UPS.com and it was so. It was picked up from 86video on 6/22/09 at 5:54 PM and was on schedule and should arrive here sometime on 6/24/09. So far, so good.  
 
I then wondered if they may have "adjusted" the amount they charged my account (debit card) and saw that the withdrawal was 288.99, as quoted.  
 
It looks like its going to be okay, after all.  
 
Maybe I'm the only one who lucked out.  
 
I didn't find this web site until AFTER I'd dealt with them. If I had, I'd never have called them in the first place.  
 
FOLLOW-UP  
 
The camera arrived today as scheduled, the 24th. Everything was perfect (manual, CD-ROM photo software, etc all there). But there was no Warranty Registration card, I went to Panasonic online and registered my new product anyway. I know there are a ton of bad reviews on here, but as for me, I'm good and I really am happy this is over.  
 
I checked again and I was only billed what I expected (288.99).  
 
So, I hope you all had as much good luck as I did. If I ever do call these folks again, I'm gonna say up front that they can just save their breath and not offer me any extras. It's either sell me just what I want or forget it.  
 
Anyway, my battery is charging now and I'll soon see is this camera is as good as folks said it is.

FOLLOW-UP #2  
 
After reading that 68video web site was changed I re-visited.  
 
The Panasonic FZ28 camera I bought for 269.00 is now 359.00. I reckon since they couldn't "fix" their good deals without the add-ons, they had to raise their prices.  
 
Final Update:  
 
The camera arrived as expected, for the price of 288.99 as quoted.  
 
All is good.

I oreded the Nikon P80 almost 6 months ago, everytime I called to find out the status of my order it was still on back order. In February I was told that the would be getting a shippment in April, I called on April 3rd to find out if they have the Camera in stock and he said they did. Then when I ask about my order he said I had to order the package for $265, that the camera I ordered is still on back order. Its the same package I ordered in October for $189. I was also told that I would get the lowest price they offered and I believe the lowest price was $139. I have recently cancelled my order and will never recommend this company to anyone.

I tried to place an order for a digital camera. I spoke to a very weird guy. When I asked about several cameras he was happy to help. Then I asked if I could save money on the shipping by picking it up in person, he put me on hold, came back and said he was sold out of all digital cameras, even before I told him which one I wanted!!! THIS STORE IS A SCAM!!! IT'S NOT EVEN LISTED ON BBB SO YOU HAVE TO CALL IT IN TO REPORT IT.. DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE GET SCREWED FOR CHRISTMAS.. REPORT THESE BASTARDS!!!

i ordered a gps system from them - they tried to sell me more stuff but that's understandable. every body does that. i tld them i want only what i ordered so they sent it to me - it got here in like 2 weeks. i might order again from them - the price is worth it

This website is a scam, and they suck at that too. order item, get e-mail telling you to call and confirm only try to sell you a 10.00 SD card for 179.00 when you say no,they to reduce the price to 79.00 when you refuse they "cancel" your order and do not try to call them, they are closed even when you call during business hours.  
IF this site is not shut down shortly.

Like so many of the previous reviewers, I have nothing positive to report. After receiving an e-mail to confirm my order, I received another e-mail asking me to call a "Chris" under a certain phone number to "verify" my order. Chris then tried to sell me an overpriced SD Card and after I indicated that I already had the right memory card explained that the accu coming with the camera would only last 20 minutes and that I needed to buy an upgraded battery to actually be able to use the camera in real life situations. To make a long story short, their prices are a scam and their stories are fraud, and given all the reviews on this site, I'm really surprised that their are no authorities in the United States that close down this kind of fraudulent businesses.

The site said the product was in stock and two days later they called me to confrim the credit card. After checking the exp date the clerk asked me to purchase an accessory. They were a bit pushy about it as well. I explained that I did not need a charger, memory, or any other items as I was replacing a lost GPS. As soon as I asked when it would ship they hung up on me. A few minutes later I got an email that the item was on a long backorder. I called to cancel and after holding for a long time got someone who canceled my order. Not very professional and clearly they are making their money on off brand accessories so if you dont order them they try to get you to cancel. Not too ethical, save yourself the headache and steer clear.

I purchsed the NUVI 360 and am VERY PLEASED with the treeatment I received while placing my order. The sales person was very knowledgable. MY order arrived in two days well before the 4-7 days I was quoted. I was so pleased with the service and order that I called and ordered a second package(7/18/2008) as a gift.

Do not waste your time with this peoples you go an place your order , later you will receive a E-MAIL asking you to call them to verify your order , when you call them, they will try to sell you an extended warranty or overprice memory cards , if you refuse to buy any thing else the next thing is. you get an E-MAIL canceling your order with the excuse that they do not have the GPS in stock and that it will take 7 to 8 week to get it, I have my wife to call them and ask if they have the GPS they say that they have it, so when I questioned them, they treated me like DIRT with offensive language and the worst is, that they have my credit car information  

Scammers! Deceivers! Placed an order for a Garmin 780 on 4//16/2008. Two days later I called them to get the tracking #. THEY NEVER HAD IT IN STOCK! They Tried to sell me something else, and got nasty when I told them to cancel my order (It was going to be on a back order list indefinetely). DON'T BUY FROM THEM! You will be 100% disatisfied. Believe me.

After looking all over they had the best price for what I wanted. It was simple to order and easy to follow. I will definitely recommend them to my bodies

i was actually shocked at first at the great low price so i placed my order online it was real easy. A day later a rep from X 203 calls me up which i actually liked to verify my order since theres alot of scams out there actaully HELPED ME with things that i need and told me everything i needed to know bout my cameras i was very pleased.
