For what its worth: I jumped on the deal they advertised on their homepage and received excellent service- order confirmation emails, shipment email, received package in less than a week, ordered - 4 T027 and 2 T026- Epson 820 cartridges, the order was doubled as advertised, shipping was free, discount of 10% was applied and free t-shirt is included all for around 70$, granted I didnt have to contact them on the phone (some customers in the past said they could not reach 123inkjets by phone), but when the service is that good, the only reason I would have to call is to complement them, instead - I wrote this...

I have ordered from 123inkjets many times and every time I have received my exact order very quickly and without billing errors. I even get a personalized 'thank you' on each invoice. I was surprised to hear all of this negative feedback.

This is a horrible company. They immediately charged my credit card but I never received any product. I then canceled my order, which they confirmed, and said that they credited my account, but never actually did. THEY SUCK! I wish I had seen their ratings on this site long ago.

This company is a rip off scam. I have contacted the BBB but I recoment that you contact the FTC as well - if there are enough complaints I believe the attorney general may take action against this company like they have other internet companies.
My story;
Ordered 4/17/02 was double billed.
Asked for refund of second billing and was told that they were having problems with thier credit card proccessing provider and were unable to do refunds at this time. I was told by email however that the rufund had been processed. Still no refund of course. Oh and as to the product - none of that either!

This company is horrible! It took over two weeks to receive my order, when I did receive it, it was COMPLETELY wrong, and I have now been waiting almost a month for them to fix it to no avail! They do not list their phone number on their Website, and they take days to answer their e-mails. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
BTW, the 123Inkjets.com phone number is (888) 465-7765, so use it if you're having trouble with them!!!

I want my money back!!!
I have sent several e-mails to 123inkjet.com and they never answer. They got my $105.00 but I never got my order. Its time to call the police, BBB,and Lawyer.
UPDATE: On March 29, 2002, I received a phone call from 123inkjets I told Julie C, Manager
that I wanted my money back she said that my order was already shipped and could not give a refund. I told her I was going to return the items and she finally gave me a RMA #. I asked why I was not notified of the delay and she said they do not have to notify. Well the short of the story is these people operate under several different web sites, poor customer service, and do not like to return your money.
I have notified the BBB in California, IL State Police, IL Attorney General's Office and Consumer Fraud.
WARNING!!!! Check them out before you place an order with them. UPDATE: April 12, 2002
I called their toll free #888-465-7765 and talked to Josh. He said he would call me back but he never did so I called again this time I talked with Julie C.,Manager. I told her I returned the Items and that they received the package on April 4, 2002 and that Glen C. signed for it. She asked me to fax a copy of the proof of return to her so she could refund my money because it was not showing that I retuned the merchindise to them. I told her I would not fax my proof of return and that they have 7 business days to refund/
credit my account. She said my money $105.00 would be credited to my account within 72 hours. I told he if it is not I will call again and if the matter is still not taken care of she will be hearing from my lawyer. I DON'T LIKE BING SCAMMED and I will file a complaints on 123inkjets.com on every web site that lets you file comsumer complaints. PLEASE!!!!
EVERYBODY THAT IS BEING TAKEN
NOTIFY THE BBB, ATTORNEY GENERAL,
LOCAL/STATE POLICE, AND CONSUMER FRAUD
UPDATE APRIL 18, 2002
GUESS WHAT! After alot of hours sending messages and calling 123inkjets I got my full refund.
WARNING WARNING WARNING
123INKJETS said they do not give refunds without you having proof of return (I think they don't enter returns in computers system.)
They also do not keep account numbers so how can they issue refunds.

On March 29th, I spoke to Geri48@aol.com via telephone. I informed her that her order had been recently shipped. At this point, she wished to receive a refund. As the package had just recently been shipped, and would be arriving soon, we were unable to take this action. I assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization number and told her to return the package when it was received for a refund. In our Returns Policy, it is stated that credit requests will be processed in seven business days.
Geri48@aol.com later contacted us to request the status of her refund. She claimed that she had a signature receipt for her return. As we had not yet processed the package, I asked her to fax a copy of her postal confirmation so that I could issue her refund. Without proof of delivery, we would have to wait until the package was processed to take action. Geri48@aol.com was very eager to receive her refund, but refused to provide proof of delivery. I eventually issued the refund, provided that once the refund was applied, she would fax her proof of delivery. She never faxed the information requested. A full refund was issued for her order on the 12th of April. The refund was issued within seven business days of the package being returned.
At the time of her post, Geri48@aol.com had been fully refunded. At all times, every step was taken to ensure her satisfaction, and I believe that this issue was solved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Thanks to Ivwshane from Tweak3D forum boards (http://bbs.pcstats.com/tweak3d/messageview.cfm?catid=4&threadid=46034
), he pointed me to this board. I just have to say OMG! Didn't know 123Inkjets.com was already so infamous around the net!!! My bad for not even bothering to do research on their website. But think about it, their website looked FAIRLY legit. I turned down several alternative "cheap" printer cartridge to buy the special deal 123inkjets.com had to offer... can't believe they fooled this many people.
Here is my story:
Filed a complaint against www.123inkjets.com today. Placed a purchase dispute on www.123inkjets.com with my credit card agency. Filed a complaint against www.123inkjets.com with the Better Business Bureau Online... all done today (04/15/02).
Purchased four BC-02 black ink cartridges for my old BJ-200e printer on 03/29/02 very early in the morning (3 am'ish). Total amounted to $79.80. Their website stated 4-7 business day shipment time from order date (I can safely assume that is the same time they charge my credit card for the purchase, which records show to happened on 03/29/02)).
Unbelievable as they are, I had attempted to request my order status on 04/11/02 (could have sworn I had attempted my first attempt on 04/10/02 can't really remember, but doesn't matter) through their website VERY EARLY in the morning. They have a special section and SPECIAL link just for inquiry on order status!! Waited until 04/12/02 with no response, therefore, sent another request early morning. Later on that afternoon, I attempted to call them through their toll-call phone number. Was placed on hold for 15-20 minutes without receiving any live support. Sent them final warning about how I was going to complain to my credit card agency and to the BBB Online if their customer service was going to continue to be MUTE on my requests.
Sent them e-mail after the weekend (today 04/15/02) notifying them to either refund my purchase or send SOME kind of response to my order status. Notified credit card company of purchase dispute and then filed a complaint on Better Business Bureau of the matter with 123inkjets.com.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find if I was the only person to ever complain about their service or if they've had many complaints in the past through the BBB.org website. Please be aware of purchasing products from them if you have not already done so and their EXTREME LACK of customer service.
This is their company's information:

HORRIBLE COMPANY! After two months of waiting, I still haven't received the ink. It took them over a week to respond to emails. They finally gave me a phone number after six weeks. "Please call (888) 465-7765 between 7am and
5pm PST to resolve any outstanding issues." There's no such thing as customer SERVICE. They don't answer the phone calls. Don't trust them with your money.

Update 8/28/2002:
Apparently the FTC doesn't think much of this companies practices either, so obviously the horrible customer service discussed here is NOT a few isolated incidents as Juliana C. would like everyone to believe. I complained that the cartridges on your website were not CLEARLY labled as remanufactured at the time I purchased and that your refunds were non-existent. The FTC agreed with me and charged 123inkjets with violating laws specifically in those two areas. Smell that? That's justice!
From: http://consumeraffairs.com/news02/inkjets.html
WASHINGTON, Aug. 23, 2002 -- On-line sellers of generic and remanufactured inkjet printer cartridge refills have agreed to pay a $40,000 civil penalty to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they engaged in deceptive practices.
The FTC alleges that E-Babylon, Inc. and its two principals, Michael Zaya and Aidin Yousif, deceptively represented on their Web sites that their inkjet printer replacement cartridges were new, brand-name items, rather than remanufactured or generic items.
The Commission also alleges that the defendants violated the Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (Mail Order Rule) by failing to advise consumers of their right to cancel and receive a refund if the defendants were unable to ship the products on time.
According to the FTC's complaint, E-Babylon, based in Simi Valley, California, and its principals operate over a dozen Web sites - including "ProInkjets.com" and "123inkjets.com." Through these sites, the defendants sell remanufactured and generic replacement cartridges for inkjet printers.
"Remanufactured" refers to a used, brand-name cartridge that is refilled with third-party ink. Because this process is not feasible for all cartridges, the defendants also market new, generic cartridges for use in some printers. According to the FTC, the defendants marketed their remanufactured and generic cartridges as brand-name products, then compared their prices for these products with the brand-name products available at office superstores.
The complaint alleges that the defendants misrepresented that their products were new, brand-name inkjet cartridges. In addition, the complaint alleges, the defendants advertised that dissatisfied consumers could receive "no questions asked" refunds, yet many consumers experienced significant difficulties in obtaining refunds. Further, because the defendants had no procedures in place to comply with the FTC's Mail Order Rule, they did not advise thousands of consumers who purchased their products of their right to cancel and receive a refund when the defendants determined they would not be able to ship on time.
The proposed consent decree to settle the charges requires the defendants to pay a $40,000 civil penalty. The proposed decree also requires the defendants to provide redress to consumers who were entitled to, but did not receive, a refund pursuant to either the defendants' money-back guarantee or the Mail Order Rule.
In addition, the proposed decree would prohibit the defendants from: claiming that any product is a new, brand-name product, unless the representation is true; misrepresenting any refund offer; and violating the Mail Order Rule. Finally, the decree would require the defendants to respond promptly to future refund requests.

After much hunting for a phone # for this elusive company, I was able to get an RMA # to return my defective cartridges. I mailed them back over a month ago. Now 123Inkjets conveniently claims they never received them. So, basically, I'm out $43 for cartridges that were junk to begin with.
The combination of:
1. cartridges that aren't recognized by the printers they're supposed to fit
2. no phone # available on their site
3. no specific reply to multiple attempts via the only forms of communication available (fax & e-mail - I got a generic response to my 3rd e-mail 3 weeks later only after warning that I would post the situation on BBs)
4. sticking the customer with defective merchandise unless you can hunt down their #
5. convenient claims that the return was lost in the mail - after experiencing their evasiveness, I'm sure this is just another load of BS to keep my money.
6. snotty customer service (if you can even call it customer service)
I've never dealt with such a deceitful company. This has been my first truly bad experience with an on-line vendor. Most others have been excellent. A reputable company would give a refund regardless since the cartridges were defective, not used or the incorrect application. I should have just thrown them in the garbage and saved myself the return shipping.
Moral of the story: pay full price at a reputable dealer

I placed my order with this company on 3/4/02 and they were very quick about getting back to me with a confirmation and billing my CC. I have heard nothing from them since. I have twice contacted them with no response. I would not recommend buying from these people. In fact, I have contacted my lawyer and the BBB to investigate this business. I am bored and hate scammers.

I bought one set of Inkjet cartridges for my Lexmark 3200 Inkjet. On arrival, the color one works okay but the black one has ink floating in the plastic bag. I called and complained to them they sent a replacement cartridge on the next day with a return postage for the bad one. I installed the new black one and it worked for two days, and then stopped working.
