In the past, I ordered from this company and always found the experience to be at least adequate (god prices, responsive customer car, etc.)  
 
However, on this last set of orders all the merchant's correspondence is coming from a new domain name (certifiedink.com), and email headers identify another entity (corp.valueclick.com) which I had never seen associated with the company before. The experience current experience was unpleasant and unsuccessful.  
 
I placed a large order for various ink cartridges, and every item ordered was claimed to be in stock at teh time the order was placed.  
 
The following day, an email was sent to me including the following text:  
 
"Unfortunately, we are unable to fullfil your order (#2584614) at this time.  
Due to heavy demand, some of the items on your order are currently not available. As soon as we receive your items (probably within the next 10 days), we will ship your order and you will receive email notification of the shipment."  
 
The vagueness (both of about items and timing) were disconcerting. I immediately wnet to the website to check the status of the order. The entire order was blocked as "backordered", but there was no item-by-item breakdown of what was in or out of stock.  
 
I then opened anoter browser session and checked each SKU that was in my "backordered" order. Each and every item was listed as "In stock" and available to be added to the cart in that other browser process.  
 
After this, I used the form specifically provided on their website for order inquiries to ask specifically which items were in sotck and which were backordered, and if a partial shipment could be made or if the order could be broken into mltiple orders in the interest of getting osme concrete answer.  
 
I received the following stock response, quoted in its entirety:  
 
"On Mar 04 2008 3:02:57 pm, a member of our Customer Service Department wrote: Thank you for your inquiry, we apologize for any inconvenience. Please call us so we can handle this situation quickly and efficiently. Customer service can be reached toll free at 888-465-7765, Monday through Friday, 6am-6pm PST. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you Customer Support Team"  
 
Obviously the written inquiry I had placed using their form hadn't even been read, and the wording is vague enough that it would be difficult to establish that it was ever looked at by an employee rather than simply having a stock response bounce from a bot. Never had anythign like this happeend in my previous orders with te company.  
 
I have (again using 123inkjet's web support system pput in a written request for my order to be cnacelled in its entirety and for written confirmation of this to be given. I am still awaiting response.

We ordered some ink cartridges at our new address. They were delivered. In the meantime we found some bad ones that were ordered last year at our old address. When I sent back the bad cartridges, they sent the replacements to our old address and they are lost. They refuse to replace them as they are blaming me, saying I didn't change my address which I did. Their company has deteriorated greatly. Their ink cartridges are terrible.

Placed an order on September 24th, 2006. I have never received any ink. They have not returned any phone calls, or responded in any way to my e-mails. I sent another e-mail today (January, 7, 2007) from their websites customer service form and it came back bad address. If they are not out of business, they should be. Do not buy from this company ever!!

Ordered one IN-STOCK cartridge on 9/24. Did not receive until 10/4. Never received an order confirmation e-mail or shipping confirmation. Tracking methods provided were unreliable. Cartridge seems to function OK, but will not order from this store again due to lengthy shipping time and poor communication.

This 123inkjets is a joke. They messed up my order and took over a month to correct then half the ink didnt work. I since then filed a complaint against them with the attorney generals office of the state they operate from. Now they spam my email box so much i am being forced to change emails after having the same email address for over 10 years. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS.

I was so excited when I did a little shopping around on the internet and found this company! They are much cheaper than our previous inexpensive ink provider. We have two Brothers and one Epson, and we use the black ink much more than the colors. With this company, we were able to purchase more black inks than the colors instead of having to lump them together and end up with way more colors than we normally use.  
 
However, when you have just put in a cartridge and your pages still come out VERY PALE GRAY, the money saved and "wasted color cartridges" don't matter. I am extremely frustrated with 123 Inkjets because the doggone ink cartridges simply do not work. This is a problem, because my work requires that I can actually READ something that has just come through on the printer. Sure, s/h was free and no tax was added because of the volume of cartridges purchased, but they are utterly useless. Long story short: I'm ordering a set of cartridges from my previous inexpensive ink provider.

The store is definitely a scam!!! I ordered a bunch of inks from them and till today it have not arrived yet. I have email to them regarding the matter but everytime they just ask me to wait till 15 days.I wait and wait. I order the ink because I need it urgently for business print. And now after 15 days, they say I need to send the claim form to them for refund of lost package. They also never mentioned where can I get the claim form to fill up in order for me to have my refund.Is it thru email or postal mail? What a scam company!!!! Even if they sent the claim form, it really frustrated that I still need to wait for them to send the claim form to me and for me to fill up and sent back again to them in order for me to get my refund. Don't you think it not efficiency, silly and waste of time and not fair for us buyer. We paid for the package and we expect it to arrived but it does not. I don't even received the item from the purchase I made, why should I wait for the refund???? Don't ever purchased any thing from them, be warned!!!!

This is my first and last order from this bunch of crooks. Order placed 07MAR. Credit card billed 09MAR. Emailed, they said wait until the 28MAR and let them know if shipment shows up by then. NO TRACKING NUMBER for shipment, but they say that they have shipped it. Is supposed to be shipped USPS, but I don't know of any USPS service that takes 19 days to get a package across the country. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS.

I place my order on 12/27/05 and never received it. I called CS on 1/24/06 and requested a refund after several attempts to find out where my order was. On 3/8/06 I still have not received my refund and was asked to give them until 3/15/06 to have my refund credited back to my credit card. I will keep you posted. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I bought here for the first time December 5, 2005. It is December 23, 2005 and I still have not received my ink. Customer service is not helpful. Said my order shipped on December 13th ("I don't know why it took so long to ship--we usually ship within 48 hours). Could not provide tracking information. Don't even bother trying to contact them via email. Safe to say I would never order from here again.

I thought ordering from 123inkjets would be a breeze. But it turned out to be a very bad dream. Not only do 123inkjet customer reps patronize its customers over the phone, but they also offer minimal help. I ordered a value pack BCI 24 (15 cartridges). Today is Oct 13 and I still have not received my package (orderd on Oct 6 and I live in the same state as this POS company). I will not do business with them again and I will certainly not recommend them to friends or family.  
I would also like to add that 123inkjets issued me a phony trakcing number. I told them the tracking number never worked and that the USPS people said I needed to be issued a new one. 123inkjets's response: too bad for me  
 
UPDATE: I received my package today (Oct 14). My tracking number finally began working this morning. But I'm afraid that's too little too late. I was satisfied with the packaging of my product but was disappointed to find that 123inkjets also uses C&G cartridges, just as Abcink.com does. I was hoping 123inkjets would use a more reputable vendor. I have used C&G cartridges before and have witnessed one black cartridge last about 20 pages in my MP 390.  
123inkjets also included a sticker in my package that they want me to "stick" to my computer so I remember to order from them the next time around. I won't be doing that.  
In summary, I won't buy from 123inkjets again because of 1) Inept and patronizing customer reps (extremely poor customer service) 2) No tracking service for package until the day the package arrives at my door, and 3) a complete lack of respect from 123inkjets.com  
To boot, I would not recommend doing business with 123inkjets.com or Abcink.com. The next time I need ink I will try my luck with PrintPal or Ink4art. I can only hope and pray that my experience is better with another company.

I tried a couple 'dirt cheap' cartridges before and the print quality was rather poor. So I decided to try 123Inkjets given their products were significantly more expensive than many discount inkjet competitors, presuming I stood a better chance of getting more if I paid more (i.e. you get what you pay for).  
 
I purchased 1 each black and color Lexmark compatible (remanufactured) cartridge #12A1980/70 for Lexmark 3200 Printer.  
 
After printing about 5 pages I noticed some ink spatter and smearing that was minor at first. After printing 5 more pages it was real bad, so I remove the black tank and it was leaking badly, slinging ink all over inside the printer as the cartriges moved back and forth. I spent about an hour cleaning ink out of my printer.  
 
The color cartridge never worked at all. I used the print head cleaning utility about 5 times then tried to coax ink out using a damp paper towel to wipe the print head. Nothing.  
 
Customer Service was fairly good, no hassle exchange, but the replacements were hardly better. The black cartridge began to leak again after about 40 pages, although it didn't leak nearly as bad as the first had. The color cartridge produced minor banding that never went away even after extensive cleaning. Printing numerous test pages showed that some of the nozzles were plugged or dead, nothing brought them back.  
 
The color cartridge required head cleaning if the printer was idle for only 24 hours, I presume from ink drying and clogging. I used more ink printing head cleaning test sheets than printing my stuff.  
 
After buying a new Epson printer, on the recommendation of a friend I tried Tyler Martin's USA Brand ink cartridges. I was suspicious because their prices were lower than 123Inkjets.  
 
WOW! Good print results, I highly recommend the USA Brand from TylerMartin.com  
 
Usually, you get what you pay for, but not from 123Inkjets.

Negatives:  
They spam every E-Mail account I have more than any other spammer ever has. Beware of giving your main E-Mail address to them unless you want spam even if you opt out.  
Their free shipping is post office parcel post which is probably the slowest method of shipping there is in the United States. When I checked out with this last order I placed, I didn't see any options of choosing any other method of shipping.  
 
I placed this order with them on 11/9/04 and it was supposedly shipped on 11/9/04 but have yet to receive the order as of 11/22/04. 2 weeks or more is ridiculous for shipping time. But you can bet I received spam from them since then...

Ordered a color inkjet cartridge: it only printed magenta. After calling the company and being on hold forever I was told that ink was probably just clogged and to stick a pen in the hole to unplug it. Of course this didn't work, so they emailed me a return label to ship it back for a replacement. Replacement finally arrived after a three week wait and it doesn't work either! After two defective products, I've wasted enough time dealing with 123 inkjets, but did want to take the time to warn readers to stay clear of this company!
