Crutchfield for all my car audio needs. Prices on merchandise are very good and shipping is fast. The real stand out with Crutchfield is their excellent customer service and free included installation materials. Don't hesitate to order from them.

Ordered an in-dash cd/mp3 player. Total with that + an install card was $185 after a -$20 coupon I found on the net.  
 
Next day they tell me they are out of stock till the end of the month. I ask if there's any way I can get expedited shipping, since it showed in stock originally. They gave me 2day.  
 
Later that night, I got an email saying it shipped. However, it was everything BUT the receiver...which was not expected in stock till 11/30.  
 
I ended up getting it delivered a few days prior to that!  
 
 
 
Fast processing, fast shipping, customer reviews, great deals!  
 
Will shop here again.

I ordered my speakers on Friday and they arrived on Tuesday as scheduled. Their cable labels, while not a big deal, is a nice little freebie. Customer service is very pleasant and helpful. I ordered a second set of speakers from Crutchfield.

Great prices, but customer service is lacking. I ordered a stereo for my car, and Crutchfield didn't have the best price, but after taking tax, shipping, harness and mounting kit into account, it was worth purchasing from them. I placed the order and within seconds I received my confirmation. The order shipped in about two days (fairly normal), and I received everything in three more.  
 
Everything shipped as promised, with instructions on how to remove the old stereo and put the new one in. On the final step I put the mounting kit into my car, and it was an extremely tight squeeze. So tight that the bracket basically broke off. I needed a new one and asked Cruthfield via telephone what I should do. The guy I spoke with said I could have Crutchfield ship me a new one, or I could purchase one on my own locally and be reimbursed! I was ecstatic so I headed over to my local big box retailer, asked them what fit, and made the purchase. Everything fit perfectly and I was happy.  
 
I called them a second time to ensure the credit would hit my account, and they confirmed it.  
 
Fast forward two weeks later after I come home from a week away, my credit card statement says nothing about the credit...Ok. So I called Crutchfield today to clear things up and I spoke to a CSR about what should have happened. She said "there aren't any notes on your account, nope, nothin, sorry, can't do anything." Uh..what happened the last time I called? Did they just pull a fast one on me? I wonder because its past the 30 day return policy..  
 
So I ask to speak to a supervisor and after the CSR tries to transfer me THREE times, I finally get to one, and explain the situation. Obviously I was very frustrated. She seemed to be nice and wanted to fix the situation, so she said she would take care of it for me. Not falling for another trap, I grab her name and will be calling my credit card company later this week to find out what happens.  
 
If you don't have any issues with your product, you'll probably be fine, but their customer support is somewhat lacking.

Crutchfield really is as great as people say it is. I purchased a D80 and a Nikon 18-200 lens. The deal was with a 10% discount for the lens if I bought the camera. The lens was in stock but the camera was not. The lens shipped out, but when the expected ship date of the camera body came, the camera did not come in stock, and so the ship date was extended. I needed the camera before that, so I called Crutchfield to let them know that I wanted to cancel the camera part of the order (I had already received the lens). Without any hesitation, they cancelled the camera part (and apologized!) but still gave me the discount on the lens.  
 
I don't know any other retailers that will do that. That's why I keep shopping there.

Nice price and quick turn around time with processing/shipping. Ordered an Onkyo HT-SR800 system at 7:30 Wed. night and got a shipping notice on 1pm the following day. So far it's been a great online shopping experience and I would definitely do business with Crutchfield again.

Very Very Good Customer Service. Bought a Nikon 18-200mm VR Lens from them. They are very patient and helpful while talking to you over phone. They had the lens on sale for 800$ then and they were offering 10% on it, if you buy a camera. So, I had bought one (which also, I wanted for my parents) Panasonic P&S camera and they gave me 10% off on a 800$ lens!  
 
I called the customer service to confirm, if any other strings were attached to it. He said no and infact he told me to apply some discount card (referral card, I guess) which I got from the dpreview forums and I got another 10$ off.  
 
Later, once I received the lens, I felt it had some problem and I called them for returning it. They never asked me any questions and they said, I can return it(they would pay the shipping even). But later, it was my mistake in judging the lens and I kept it with me.  
 
I would definitely buy again and again from Crutchfield. To b very honest, if I need to buy an item, I first check, if it is available on Crutchfield.com first. I am really very impressed with their service. Thanks Crutchfield.

I had a great first experience with Crutchfield. I ordered 2 Pioneer TS-W301R 12" subs. Along with a Kenwood KAC-8103D. Ordered on the 21 and received on the 23rd with regular shipping!! Items arrived very well packed and brand new. Will turn to Crutchfield for all my Car Audio needs.

The only issue I had with Crutchfield was a refund that wasn't issued after the Kenwood receiver was returned with the proper return authorization. They didn't bother to send me an email saying they received the return. I had the tracking number that said it was delivered and when I called the next week to find out why my return wasn't issued, the customer service said they were waiting on a defective amp that I had also shipped back on a different return authorization that was issued some five days after the first for the Kenwood. This isn't how they explained the return process to me, until I called in the following week. I told them that I did my part and returned the Kenwood and they should issue a refund, but they were inflexable. I told them I would pay for the defective amp and they could credit me back when they got it, (they sent me a replacement) but they wouldn't do that either. So now I own a kenwood receiver that is in their ware house and I haven't received any notice that they even received it. (it was unopened) I also shouldn't have to learn all this a week after they haven't issued a refund, and I had to call them. All I want is the refund to the Kenwood they have had for a week! I feel they are taking advantage of me and keeping my refund longer than necessary. Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't called?  
 
The email clearly states the policy which I followed. They should have refunded the Kenwood and if the amp isn't returned they will charge my credit card. I don't appreciate spending over $1500, doing everything I'm supposed to do, and have to deal with them changing their policy at my expense. It was a very unpleasant experience.  
 
(edit: I did receive the refund. So, I'll change this to a satisfied. As they pay for return shipping and everything else was fine. But I will leave my comments.)

I bought an Onkyo HT-600 home theater system from this store and I am really impressed by the fast shipment that they have. Placed an order at 1pm and 2 hours later the item was already on the way to my address. The price from this store was totally affordable. Definitely want to go back again to do business with this store. I recommend you to try and have an experience in this store.

Decent prices, but what makes crutchfield shine is the service!  
 
I bought a sony reader from them as a birthday gift and wanted to see if they could ship for a Saturday delivery (it was Friday afternoon). I spoke with Frank and he assured me that it would be no problem - in fact, after I placed the order online, he made sure to go to the shipping folks and see that the reader was shipped that day.

Crutchfield continues to impress. I ordered speakers from them years ago, had trouble with some static in one of them so gave them a call. They shipped me a brand new speaker free of charge and didnt even ask for the old one back($300 speaker)!  
 
My most recent order was for a Panasonic TH-50PX77U 50" High Definition Plasma TV. Like a previous poster, I agree with their credit card security. My order was held up over the weekend since I had just moved so my shipping address was different from my billing address. They went as far as verifying my phone number with my credit card issuer! Comforting to know they go so far to protect against fraud.  
 
White glove delivery was included free of charge and the tv arrived within 3 days after processing! It was packed very well with a device to tell if the tv was handled too rough in transit. Setup was a breeze with the included manuals, and having a trained tech from Crutchfield on standby is always comforting it a problem should arise.  
 
The best part about this last order though was a $300 credit I recieved. I paid $2300 but they lowered the price down to $1999 within 30 days of my purchase so they refunded the differance, awesome! They really are a top notch company, keep up the great work!
