made the order on Tuesday night (-2-25-03) on Friday afternoon (2-28) It arrived at my house.
I got a panasonic dvd-rp91 total price was 405.00 I called the local TWEETER store with a question about a receiver & mentiond the Panasonic. he said "I could have gotten that, How much did you pay" As I was telling him he was looking up their price" He said that it retailed for $700 & that I got an excellent price.
I almost got it from "BuyDig" but when I read;
"DVD players, Scanners, Fax Machines, Receivers, Home Theater, and Printers are not returnable after box is opened. All inquiries to manufacturer"
Crutchfield says...

Crutchfield is one of those few companies that you don't mind paying a little extra more for their products because they are so outstanding (and sometimes, they have the lowest price anyway).
I've ordered probably a 1/2 dozen times from them in the past, and every time has been a model of customer service and professionalism. This last order, for example, was shipped to me overnight for $3, so I could install my wife's new car stereo before Christmas morning.

Ordered Aiwa CD/MP3 car player. Smooth transaction arrived fast. The player was defective and I had to return it, used the provided UPS shipping labels. No issues, got refund fast. Very satisfied, looks like very honest good company to buy from.

Ordered a Denon reciever because another retailer ended up having none in stock. Crutchfield messed up the phone number and the credit card didn't get authorized. Fixed this and it was shipped and arrived today (1 week from order date). Shipping container was great and we got free Sennheiser HD477 Headphones that are normally $50. They sound great, and so does the reciever. Will order from them again when necessary.

An excellent company. Well worth the slight premium in price to have a 30-day MBG, excellent customer service on the phone, and *fast* delivery. And no pressure for extended warranties, add-ons, or other junk, unlike other online and brick and mortar stores (Best Buy, are you listening ...)
Found out a month later, they started offering free speaker stands with the AV Receiver I ordered back on 11-21. Even though they did not start offering this deal until after I had received my unit, they are shipping me my free speaker stands. What a great company! I only wish they sold computer equipment .... I ordered a Bose Wave CD. The product arrived prior to the promised date. they are so easy to order from. I order frequently online and find them outstanding!

Ordered my 50 foot Coaxial Cable on 9/2 and received it on 9/5 as promised.
Price was the lowest around.

I ordered a DVD player from Crutchfield. The reason I selected them was because the model of player is so new (Panasonic RP82) that most of the online stores don't have it in stock yet.
I placed my order at just after midnight on Tuesday, and 4 hours later they sent me an email saying it had shipped. Now I didn't believe that the order could have shipped at 4 AM, so I was amazed when the player arrived at my door 41 hours after I clicked the button.
Not only that, but there was a very nice 100 page color A/V home reference manual included for free, and a nice guide to home entertainment systems. Way to go!

I have to disagree with the one post that complains about Crutchfield's web ordering... I have gotten a printable confirmation page every time I've ordered online; plus an e-mail is sent complete with a tracking link to the shipper. All you need to do is click the link, and presto- your shipping progress is right there. If Crutchfield could do more, I have no idea what that could be. I believe the experience related by the person re: the confirmation page was an anomaly due to some server glitch.
I've ordered from Crutchfield more than 5 times and it's been a great experience every time...
and if something is wrong with your order? Here's what I experienced:
One of the Infiniti car stereo speakers had a bad tweeter right from the get-go. A phone call to their sales people and I had a return authorization number to put on the pre-supplied return label, and Crutchfield had a new pair of speakers on the way that same afternoon, BEFORE I even had the first set boxed for return... instead of hassling me, waiting for my original speakers to arrive in Virginia. It couldn't be any easier for a mail-order exchange.
The Crutchfield catalogs have feature comparison charts of various components so it's easy to choose the one that does what you need without overspending, and the online store has photo galleries that enable you to get helpful, actual full-screen pictures of the products...sometimes rear and side views, too.
Price-wise, Crutchfield has at least equaled our local electronic stores' 'sale' prices... except it's on an everyday basis. There are stores that will sell for less, but few will give more in useful information and reliable service. One of the outstanding examples of what an online store should be.

Bought speakers from them. Overall experience is very pleasant. Even though received speakers a little bit damaged (I think manufacturer fault, not Crutchfield) setting up exchange was just a snap. Customer service is the best I've ever seen. Price is not competitive, but I will definitely deal with them again, when goods are not available or similarly priced in other stores.
Some bad experience during purchase happened, because of UPS manner of handling business, but that's another story.

I ordered a JVC VCR at the lowest price on the intenet from them. They also did not play games with the shipping and handling charges and did not load it up like other sellers do to off set their low adertized prices. They answer e-mail in an hour or so rather than up to three days that I have waited from other sellers. They are polite, professional and an overall bargain. This is my second purchase from them and I could not ask for more.
