AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I ordered a monitor, it was scratched so i sent it back. They then lost it and refused me a refund.
After numerous emails they closed my case without a refund.
I eventually tracked the item down myself and proved that the courier had in fact sent the item back. They then refunded.
They try to avoid using their contact details as i assume the have something to hide. So their number is 01865 791055 and their owner is Thomas Felici.
They tried to refund into a LambdaTek account eh price of the monitor without postage. Once i complained they removed the refund.
All these actions are illegal according to our Consumer Rights so fight for a FULL REFUND which is what you are entitled to under the Distance Selling Act. This review was modified by its author, chocky, on

I ordered an incorrect cable for a phone. I returned the cable with a fully headered request + copy invoice and asked to have it changed to the type I needed and even offered to pay any difference neccesary or postage costs. I sent it undamaged. The only thing missing was the throw away cable tie. Rather than return me the right cable Lambda returned me the same cable, recorded delivery saying I had not got an RMA number and it was not in a fit state for resale.
I will not be using this company again and reccomend you avoid this company.

Not very impressed! Our organisation's regulations means that we usually have to purchase goods and services using a cheque. We took advantage of the proforma invoice service provided by Lambda Tek and sent a cheque. Although the cheque was actually cashed on 1st May by the 15th May we had not had any acknowledgement or received our goods. After chasing Lambda Tek I was informed the pricing on the Lambda Tek Website for one of the items had been incorrect and they required another £94 from us to release the goods. Even though the transaction had been completed they were not prepared to honour the transaction even though the fault was theirs. The amount for the incorrectly priced goods have been refunded and hopefully the remaining items should be delivered today. The next working day delivery indicated is quite clearly the next working day after goods are despatched their end and not from when you pay!

Dont have anything in stock its pulled from distributors. Ordered 28/2/08 charged card and still not received now its on backorder? Horrible website to, won't use again. Gah

Ridiculous policy of having to speak to you by phone before they will release the order. I kept receiving emails saying they had tried to call, but I had no missed calls on my work phone or mobile. I replied to the emails giving them alternative numbers and times to call, but no call was received, just more emails saying they cannot send the order before they speak to me. In the end I complained via email, and they sent the order - without having spoken to me. So I don't know why they needed to in the first place. All these delays meant delivery took over a week. I won't be using them again!

Just pray your goods aren't faulty. My Iomega NAS drive was faulty on arrival. LambdaTek made me raise the fault with Iomega (20 minute call to Switzerland). They were reluctant to issue a Returns #. Returns go to an intermediary, so 1 month later I have neither goods nor refund.

B84537 (Samsung HM121HI - SAMSUNG HDD 160GB SATA 2.5 M5) order on 12/12/2007
Before i order this harddisk, i e-mail to customer service to confirm that this is 160GB or 120GB, they told me this is 160GB ( i still keep the e-mail), so, i bought it, when the harddisk arrived, it is 120GB, the i phone up and ask why the harddisk is 120GB? and told them i did asked to confirm before i order.
And the end, they just told me there are some mistake of the website, the harddisk is 120GB not 160GB and then just changed the detail in the website after i phone to them.
Wow, i just don't know why they can do something like that, in case of any mistake, i even e-mail to ask beofre i order.
Just not really happy about this, and because of christmas time i have to wait them to collect the harddisk until 8th of january, and 11/01/08 today i still didn't get the money back..

I ordered an external Seagate drive, which, despite the fact that it arrived within a reasonable amount of time, turned out to be a bad one. Rather than pursue a refund, I decided to replace it with an internal drive and caddy. However, this is when I found out that there is no process in place by which you can simply a) replace one item with a different one or b) get a credit note. However, I went through the due process, awaiting Lambdatek's test to confirm that the product was, indeed, faulty. Sadly Lambdatek didn't prove to be particularly 'on the ball' here as I had to chase up the refund. When I got the refund, I noticed that the money I'd paid out for delivery had been deducted from the refund, leaving me around £8 worse off from the experience. However, being a strong believer in the power of human nature, I emailed the vendor back, saying that I was considering purchasing an internal drive and caddy, but was a little disappointed that I had had to bear the cost of delivery for an item that turned out to be faulty, and would they consider waiving the delivery charge for the new items. This they did, and the said items arrived within a reasonable amount of time. I believe that Lambdatek's customer service is probably above average. Despite the fact that you have to communicate via email, I found the staff to be respectful and reasonable, and this company is definitely on my top 5 list for future purchases.

Worked for me. Professional. All the things I ordered arrived well packed without damage.
Their delivery service couldn't find my building the first time they tried, but they redelivered the next day without a hitch.

Good prices and excellent service and delivery. Two printers arrived the next day. BUT Lambda Tek should not associate themselves with the Shopper Discounts & Rewards scheme. It is very close to a scam and only by reading the small print did I realise the offered £10 saving would cost me £8 per month after 30 days. Makes me think twice about using Lambda Tek again.

excellent products and prices but you or the third party supplier changed my address and it took some effort to find product which of course had been delivered to someone else courier firm (citylink ) was useless in trying to find out where it was

Fast delivery and courteous service. The best price on the net for what I was getting and the item was as expected. I would definitely shop with them again.

Without a doubt the cheapest price for the items i purchased on the net. The security measures they have in place are excellent if not a little bit of a pain as it can delay your order while they confirm your identity.
Customer service was great and they are polite ,helpful and easy to contact via phone.
The only down side to the whole experience of buying from Lambdatek is the postage!!! It was twice the price of other websites for half the amount of items and you need to take this into account as it offsets the cheap prices that you are buying the items for!
All in all i will use them again but you really need to place a large order to make the shipping costs worth while, also they could make it easier to find items by setting out catagories better.
