Excellent all around. I called because of a mixup on my behalf and even though it was my fault, I felt that it could have been handled a bit more politely. Regardless, I would use and recommend them. The gear was fully functional and supplied with extra accessories. Shipping was prompt and returning was simple. I changed my order afterwards via email and it was handled perfectly.

I sought out on various photo web sites from other avid photographers suggestions about reputable companies to rent lenses and camera bodies and BorrowLenses.com, kept on coming up as a company everyone who used them had only great things to say. My experiences are consistent with all of these people.  
 
They were extremely responsive in all my requests (both by email and phone)and the order came exactly when promised in great condition. I wanted the equipment for a 2 week African safari and they told me there was no problem taking the equipment out of the country (other companies had certain reservations) and when I asked them if there was anything else they recommended I take, they made a number of great suggestions, but were never pushy, only helpful.

Got the lens (EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM), hood and filter exactly on the date i specified. It was in great condition, had zero problems with the lens on my week long vacation. I rented a 70-200mm for two weeks for a trip to Paris. As usual I waited until the last minute. I sent an email and Lisa responded right away and told me they had what I wanted in stock. I placed the order online and Lisa said I could just swing by and pick it up instead of waiting for the confirmation email. They really worked with my schedule. Basically, I placed the order and picked it up and was back at my office in a little over an hour. Obviously you'd have to be local for this.  
 
The lens was in good shape. Came with a UV filter and pouch. It took about 2 minutes to return.
