I absolutely love Borrow Lenses. It is the best way to get what you need in a fast, professional manner. The staff couldn't be better. I've picked up an order in the past and met them personally... they truly are a nice group of people. Most recently, I placed an order during a holiday promotion (and it was so good, hundreds of other people did too). Unfortunately, the lens I reserved wasn't available even though I had already "checked out" and finished the whole process. Rather than hanging me out to dry, they actually called to work with me in every possible way. Asking what I was going to be shooting and trying to find an alternative lens (or lenses) based on what they had in stock. They ended up sending me a couple lenses to make sure I would be able to get the shot I was trying for and didn't add to my original bill. I had heard through a friend that they had a good experience renting a lens for a week and my daughter had a soccer tournament last weekend so I thought it would be a good time to try them out. I was able to rent for a very reasonable amount, one of the top new Nikon lenses, a 70-200 VR II which lists for $2400. I liked having the ability to try a professional lens for a special occasion. It was an easy process to reserve the lens and since we live in the bay area very easy to go to borrowlenses.com and pick it up. The return process was just as easy. I recommend borrowlenses.com to all my photographer friends and it is something I plan to do again in the near future.

Renting from BorrowLenses.com was a wonderful experience. I had never rented any camera equipment before and was slightly apprehensive, but used them to try out a lens I am wanting to buy. Renting a lens through BorrowedLenses was a great experience. I received a follow up phone call within 10 minutes of placing my order online. The representative I spoke with offered advice and helped pick out the best lens for my needs. The lens arrived on the day promised. Borrow Lenses has some of the best selection of camera equipment to choose from. Shortly before going on vacation my Nikon was dropped and broken. I didn't want to spend alot of money right before Christmas yet wanted a good camera to take with us on vacation and Borrow Lenses was the perfect solution. Borrow Lenses also gave me the opportunity to try out a camera before deciding which model to buy to replace my broken one. The camera and lens came on time and was packaged very well. I love renting from borrowlenses.com. They have a great selection of gear at reasonable prices. I have found their customer service to be top-notch and very fast and responsive. I highly recommend them to any photographers who want to rent gear. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding -- and what was nice was they actually use a high-quality filter on the lens as an extra protection. Good shipping and reasonably good prices. The only complaint (and a small one at that as they handled it very quickly) was the website was not actually reflecting what was in stock -- I wanted to try the new Nikon 70 to 200 and the site said it was available -- but it was not. Can't complain too much as they let me have the older lens for longer than needed due to the holiday break and that was very much appreciated.

Excellent selection, customer service is responsive to questions even via twitter, frequently posts about new equipment offerings and accepts suggestions for new gear. Only had issues once and they were quick to call me and overnight the lens to make up for the delays.

Great experience renting a Canon EF28-300L zoom lens from Borrowlenses.com. I was contacted per my request on the reservation and informed how to handle both the 12/25 and 01/01 holidays. Lens was in great condition and well maintained. A great experience, and will be doing business again in the future.

What an awesome, reliable service. I wanted to purchase an ultra wide angle lens, but wasn't sure if I'd like one enough to purchase, so I rented. I received the best communication from them and even received the lens rental a day early. It was an awesome lens, worked great - and yes, now I want to buy one!

Quality Products for sure. My only beef is that the products I ordered a Macro Ring Flash and Marco Lense did not fit together, so I had to hand hold the flash. Pretty much defeating the purpose of a "ring" flash. Now I should get some of the blame I didn't know I needed a special adapter but to me when 2 incompatible items appear on the same order a quick email or call to confirm is warranted. If you are a novice I would recommened calling to do the final order and not the online system to avoid these mistakes.

This company is very accomodating and everything went on schedule. As a novice trying out some different lenses for my camera I had questions as to what lenses would best suit my needs and I was answered by email within a few hours. Loved that and the advice. I will definately deal with this company again.
