This service kicks ass; I was more than happy with everything. It arrived one time, was exactly what I ordered and was so simple. Everything comes in a well packed box and all you have to do is put it back in there. Awesome work from these guys. I will no doubt do business again.

I was skeptical about renting from a company so far away.( I am in Florida.) I was wrong. They had exactly what I needed. It came on time, packed extremely well and easy to return. The equipment was in perfect condition.  
I called three different rental companies before using BorrowLenses. All of the other companies tried to talk me into bigger more expensive eqpt. Not borrow lenses, they gave me what I asked for without making me feel inferior for my choices. The other companies are run by snobby pros. I was beyond pleased with Borrow Lenses. I would and WILL suggest them to everyone I know.

The lens was in excellent condition and packaged well. Convenient drop off at a local FedEx office for return with provided label. I definitely would use this service again, and I have already recommended it to others.

Excellent service. I called in at 3:45pm on a Saturday to order lenses. They close at 4pm but said it would be no problem to wait a few extra minutes for me. I drove like a banshee and showed up at 3:59pm. Of course this was my first time, so I actually had to register and book the order via their computer. This took 10 minutes or so, but they were extremely friendly and didn't mind at all that I held them up from leaving on their Saturday.

BorrowLenses.com provides an amazing service by offering a wide array of lens choices, which I always find available for my schedule and nicely priced for my budget. I've rented from both Keeble & Shuchat and Adolph Gasser and, while both are good, they do not seem to have the selection/availability that I find with BorrowLenses.com. Also two thumbs way up for BorrowLenses.com's Customer Service.

I used them for the first time after doing a search online, everything was outstanding. The lens was the exact model I was looking for, I loved the writeup on the website that not only has specs but also different situations to use it in and a few tips. Much to my surprise one of the locations was 4 miles from where I live in SJ - so I could rent it for 3 days and pick it up myself. Shot the party I was hired to do (could shoot from a distance instead of in people's faces), and then shot as much variety as I possibly could around the city with the remaining time. Loved the lens, heavy but the output was professional. Would definitely recommend to others and will rent again. Ease of use to rent and pay online very important. In and out of the store itself very quick.

My wife's best friend was married in Springfield IL on 9-26-09, and I went along as a personal paparazzi to the bride & groom. BorrowLenses was recommended to me from a photog friend as a reliable, and cost effective rental house compared to any local vendor, and boy was he right. I placed an order for the Nikon D50 and a the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 for a week rental. However, after placing my order it was found that the D50 was on call for someone else at the same time even though the computer system allowed me to make a booking.  
 
No worries! BorrowLenses was able to quickly, and efficiently sort out my problem, and I had a camera and lens well in time for the wedding. AND they gave me some great tips on shooting the wedding.

This was the first time that I rented a lens from these guys and the transaction was very smooth! I found them through a simple Google search and called them right up that same day for a Giants game in the evening.

Ordering was quick and easy. A phone call for additional information about delivery and return was returned promptly. The camera and lens that I rented arrived on time and in excellent working condition. When it came time to upload the photos to my Mac, I encountered a problem and called BorrowLenses.com for support. A tech returned my call within a half hour and while he could not tell me exactly where to find it online, he did point me to Nikon transfer software that was required (I was using a USB cable and not a card reader). Per his recommendation, I have now purchased a card reader - much faster! They acknowledged receipt of the camera and lens in good condition promptly. I would rent from them again and recommend them to others.
