On July 17, 2008 I ordered two "lappymats" for two of my laptops. I never received them. Lappymats never replied to any of my emails. In fact, the only record I had of my order was the email from Paypal notifying me of payment. After complaining to Paypal, I got a partial refund of less than half what I paid. I thought I was out the money, but on September 17 Paypal notified me that Lappymats had refunded the balance. I also received my first and only email Lappymats with a notice of a refund with the short note: "Item was returned by Shipping comnpany full refund to be sent for the long delay." The misspelling of the word "company" is theirs. Over 500 ebay sellers manage to send merchandise to my Paypal address, which has not changed, and Lappymat's shipping company can't? I'd think better of Lappymats if they'd bothered to answer my emails and let me know what was going on. At least they managed to refund my money -- eventually -- but ordering from them seems to be a cr@p shoot. Do a Google search for "Anyone else order from LappyMats.com before?" -- which should lead you to a forum thread at notebookreview.com -- and you'll see I'm not alone in having problems with them.
