I am very skeptical of EVERY online purchase and him-hawwed for a long time before my purchase. I ordered an XTi package (combo) and could not be happier with the decision. The order was placed on Sunday afternoon after 3:00pm, I called a short time later and was suprised to get an answer, the man confirmed my order, and noted on the order my prefference of the black camera body. I received my entire order at a little after 4:00pm on Tuesday. I didn't even request the overnight upgrade!!! Every item in the package is new and the US WARRANTY was sitting right on top inside the camera box. The camera works perfectly. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY!

I have to commend this company. Thier customer service was excellent. I called several times with many questions and they always took their to time to answer me.  
 
I ordered the Nikon D80 combo #1 at 8:39 pm on the 17th and paid for ground shipping 7-10 days. My door bell rang at noon today (the 19th) with my complete order entact. My products all have warranty information and is not what is called a grey market camera. Everything came in the box, excellent condition.  
 
I would defintely recommend them and order from them again.

I would like to thank Digicombos for the excellent customer service provided to me by Eric. When I called to place my order, Eric was knowledgable and explained options available for my Nikon D80 combo. I never felt pressured, he did his job and did it well.  
In following up on my order, he was very helpful and was consistantly a gentleman who seemed happy to help me with my inquiry.  
I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Digicombos in the future and actually intend to!

As an update, I would like to say that I received all of my order and am extremely happy with the entire process. I was promissed that the camera that I ordered, Nikon D80 was not a Gray market product (was hard for me to believe at those prices), but when I received the order, the camera was just GREAT! In excellent condition, complete with nothing missing and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Digicombos and plan to use them again! Thanks again Erick!

They've got great products for great prices, no one can deny that!!  
 
However, this has been the most cumbersome online purchase I have done in my life. It took them over a week JUST TO PROCESS the order. I appreciate the extra security they want to provide, but making me provide several email addresses, call them to confirm all the details (while they leave me on hold for 10 minutes on my international call), and making me wait a week for verification is WAY too much trouble for an online purchase.  
 
After processing they shipped SOME of the items from the order, without letting me know. Since this was a gift I was very dissapointed to hear that my aunt recieved half of the order and A POST-IT NOTE saying the rest would arrive shortly after (Actually, it arrived almost 2 weeks after, making that over 3 weeks from placing the order to complete delivery of the products).  
 
This was all inside of the U.S. I can only imagine what it would be like to try to make them ship internationally.  
 
Customer service by email is NON-EXISTENT. I sent numerous emails, and they never answered a single one. They had me really stressed for almost a month, worrying about my purchase.  
 
Overall: Great prices, great products, HORRIBLE customer support and processing efficiency.  
 
I won't be buying from them again.

I was in search for a nice digital camera for my son who is going to school for photography, I found your web site doing a google search on the Nikon camera I was looking for. I was very excited to find the combo kits available, it took all the guess work out of what I needed to set my son up. I received a call from Eric Light and was very impressed with his knowledge of other combo kit you had available, I was able to upgrade what I was getting and he was able to explain the difference thoroughly. I was initially somewhat reluctant to order from Digicombos because of the low number of ratings. But I decided to give them a chance. I ordered a Nikon D80 with the 18-135mm lens. The price was not the lowest of all on-line retailers but it was certainly lower than many. They sent me an email instructing me to call them at a 1-800 number to veriy the order. The salesman offered to sell me a battery since the "OEM battery was only going to last 45 minutes and if I waited and bought it later, I'd have to pay $239, rather than $139." (Same battery goes for $34 on Amazon.com!) I passed on the battery and that was the end of our conversation. The camera arrived 3 days later (I paid for 3 day shipping). Everything I received was as represented on their website. When I called to track the order, they were courteous and responsive. So, overall, it was a pleasant buying experience. I'd recommend them to others.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase here, not only I got great prices but I asked for 7-10 days ground delivery and the package was at my door the very next day. Everything was as I spected, perfectly packaged and in the manufacturer's boxes. I had the warranties and everything looks well. I thought it would take longer because after I place the order over the internet, I received a mail asking me to caal back to confirm my card info, which I did. I personally think this is good for me, because it protects me from fraudulent charges, so this showed me they care about transaction security. The phone call was also very friendly, and, as I place my order from Mexico, where I live, I asked for someone there to speak in spanish. The same operator could answer all my questions in spanish as well. I was a little concerned about all the process but everything went very well. I do recommend them.

Exercise extreme caution with this outfit; hopefully my experience can help you. I saw their ad in a magazine and ordered a Nikon D80 with 18-200mm VR lens with "USA" warranty. Needed a phone call to complete order, during which they try to upsell more stuff but were overall polite; confirmed that it was new gear, closed box, with USA warranty on the phone. Arrived on time as promised...packaging however was poor and all internal boxes were slightly dented. Immediately noted they sent me the 55-200mm lens instead of the much more expensive 18-200 VR2. Also, the D80 had an open box with a home-burned copy of the PicturePerfect software in it! A red flag for a "grey market" reimported camera. This was confirmed when I called Nikon and they could not register the serial number, and offered no support for the camera. Digicombos includes a yellow "USA Warranty" card which is a third party warranty, the quality of which I have no idea (the warranty company's website was unrevealing). So I called to return everything (they have a 10 day return policy). Their "customer service" was closed for days!! I finally got through to sales who gave me a return address and promised a full refund. I returned everything unused via fed ex tracking; it arrived 3 weeks ago and despite 3 phone calls to "customer service", each promising a refund within 1-2 business days, I have yet to receive a dime in refund. This week I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges. Please save yourself a lot of grief and hassle; I ended up buying the camera from a reputable online outfit for a comparable price, full Nikon USA warranty (which means you can bring it to any Nikon dealer for service) and an extremely helpful, responsive, and polite customer service. Shop carefully...

My order for a Nikon D80 camera kit (#7) was shipped within 2 weeks from the date of placing my order after a few inquiring phone calls. The camera kit I ordered arrived complete and in good condition as described on the merchant's web site. Some items were not of the same brand as shown online and are mostly inexpensive off brand products. There were two items (lens filters and wide angle adaptor lens) what were not the correct size to fit my camera lens. After contacting the merchant, they sent out replacement items 1 week later. They also credited me the shipping charge for returning the incorrect items to them.  
 
The customer service staff (especially Ralph) was very helpful and courtious. They followed through on all agreed terms (unlike several other Brooklyn, NY based electronics companies I've dealt with in the past). I would buy from this merchant again.

Where to start...I ordered a Sony A-700 combo. Almost NOTHING I received matched the pieces shown on the webpage. The camera flash was different, the memory card was different, I purchased an extra battery and it wasn't even compatible!! Several other this as well but this one is the worst....The lens I received had the factory Sony seal broken and parts missing inside. Still I decided to give them a break until I took the camera on a vacation. After loading the pictures on the computer I noticed there are two smudge looking spots inside the lens. I am now convinced this is why it must have been returned. I am not sure if they will take care of me or not. Very disappointed as this is a $499 lens and basically not usable.

Placed order online, called them on the 9th September to confirm, sales tried to sell $40 battery on me for more then tripple the price, declined. have sent a few emails as no charge on card appeared. Then asked about warranty etc and requested order be cancelled until clarification. Heard nothing more from company. Maybe if you don't take the upgrade sale, they loose interest in client. Have since purchased from B&H Photo, already shipped in 1 day. Digicombos have lost me as a current or future customer.
