I had very good experiences with camera product purchases from Cameta. I have ordered items from then on two occasions (the last one was a lens). In both cases, the company had by far the lowest price. The shipment arrived in record time, was very well packed, and in good condition.

The item came quickly. I thought it would be bigger (camera bag). I like how you can re-arange the inside of the bag.

I am new to digital photography and for now this is a hobby. I bought this Nikon lense 70 -300mm and recieved item quick. Good work Cameta Camera. I tried lens out and find it a little more differcult to take photos without bracing camera on something firm. This is normal from all I can read, so was expected. I did experience slow focus when I was near the 300mm range also seems to be stiff when moving zoom ring. I wonder why the zoom ring is so wide, when you have hand on lens you are on this zoom ring and may move zoom by mistake. I am pleased with this lens and look forward to taking more photo's. The issue's I mentioned will just require me to get use to these, not a problem.

Have you ever read a near perfect rating on Amazon only to be screwed by rude sales personnel and misleading product info? I hate to admit it, but I have. So, when purchasing a Canon Rebel ES I looked for more critical reviews-which brought me to ResellerRatings, and a Company in NY called CAMETA CAMERA (I eliminated my top eight "perfect" E bay finalists after reading Resellers).  
 
I ordered my camera at 10pm on the 27th. 2 1/2 days later the camera arrived in KY in perfect condition (Cameta had promised the item 3-4 days after the date arrived).  
 
My salesman was Glenn Haberle. He knew his products, was collaborative in the shopping process (he offered competent advice when I asked for it), and never attempted to up-sell. It was a pleasure working with Glenn and CAMETA-and I'll be using them again!  
 
The package that I bought contained a slew of accesories. The order was filled correctly, all items were packed professionally and the contents arrived in perfect condition (4 days early).  
 
So I paid 5-10% more than the bargain basement suppliers (first cost). I hate not paying the lowest price, and my thrifty (greedy) nature makes it hard to pass up the "best deal"-but I have been burned before and the "best deal" cost me plenty in the long run. The product was imported, used, arrived two weeks after promised (even after paying express shipping), had to be returned at my expense, and had no warranty when it stopped working in 8 months. So was this worth the $50 that I initially saved? It's been 2+ years and my blood pressure still elevates remembering the rude and cocky salesman who lied repeatedly and then insulted me. (By the way, this vendor had a 90%+ Ebay rating).  
 
I searched for a long while before "settling" on CAMETA CAMERA. They weren't the cheapest on the market, but they were clearly the most economical of the reputable online sellers.

I recently purchased a Canon Xsi 450D along with some additional items. I chose Cameta camera based on the positive feedback posted on resellerratings and some photo forums. They have a very good reputation and very competitive pricing. I placed my order online after hours and received confirmation soon thereafter. Shipping info received next day as promised. Package arrived on time. Items were packaged well and received in good order. This was a seamless transaction. Five Stars and two thumbs up..

Cameta delivered the product I ordered quickly well packed and within a few dollars of the lowest price I found. Their customer service was easy to reach and helpful. Further, they also contacted me in person to validate my information as I was a first time purchaser.  
 
My only criticism is that their site could be easier to use when searching for lenses. For example, listing all lenses from any vendor that fit a Canon EF mount should be easy.

I ordered a Nikon lens from Cameta Camera. Not only did I receive one day early, it was in super shape and functions great. The price I paid was $40.00 chearper than any other on line price I got at the time I ordered. They (Cameta Camra) are very quick and efficient in taking care of business. From paying for the item I ordered to the shipping and notification that the item had shipped. And even then giving information on how to track progress of the shippment. I will do business with this company again in the future.

Cameta Camera had the best price for the Olympus HLD-4 Power Battery Holder Vertical Grip that I could find on the Net. This coupled with the Bing cashback program was a perfect combo.
