problem with order handled quickly, courteously, and completely

It's been 12 days after I placed the order and after repeated emails I still don't have the item nor tracking number.
There is no actual person to reply to customer support email. All i got is an automated message 'You will be sent your tracking number shortly.' and thats it.
Update:
As soon as I posted my review I received an email from barry@1saleaday.com with my tracking number.
My order was shipped on August 24th and I placed my order on August 15th.

In the past few weeks i've placed 3 orders with 1saleaday.com and my first order arrived and was 100% satisfied with the company. I am still waiting my next two orders but the customer service by email has been quick and easy to work with.

Purchased a set of wireless headphones for Free with 5 Dollars shipping. They were off brand looked kinda cheap so I knew it was a gamble when i decided to purchase them. Unlike many peoples experience the shipping was fairly quick, but the product was pretty much useless. Made of very cheap plastic so the head phone band was bent and uncomfortable. The headphones worked but not very well at all.
I cant say it was a horrible experience because they were 5 bucks & i wasn't expecting Sonys.
Just purchased the ESPN the Mag. offer. I will update my review if and when i get that.

Great company, fast shipment! All items I've received have been as described and at great prices.

I ordered a Lucien Piccard Belle Suisse DaVinci Collection Swiss Movement Silver Sunray Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet Men's Watch #BS1002SL for my father. The watch does come in two weeks, however, the band was broken out of the box. The phone number they provided to my credit card company is fake. May need to reverse the charge to 1saleaday if I did not hear from them soon.

I am really sorry to hear you received a defective watch. I am not sure why you never heard back from our customer service department.

I saw several bad reviews after I ordered 2 items on 2 different dates from this store, and thought I'd leave some feedback. Both my orders (a watch and wireless headphones) arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in good shape. Both work fine, so I'm happy. I'd deal with them again.

Good experience. I should receive my package on Friday. For a deal a day site, their Customer service is excellent, and I'm a Customer service supervisor, so I know good Customer service when I see it. Great job! E-mail replies were very fast as well.

I discovered the "1 Sale A Day" websites in Dec of 2008. I've been shopping there regularly. They have the same problem most website of this type have. When you purchase 'odd lots' & 'ends' a vendor gets some returns mix in with the good stuff. So sometimes you may get a used item even though they're selling NEW merchandise. When you shop at these 'liquidator' vendors, it something you have to expect. Now as to service, things have been getting better with time. When I've had a problem in the past - I would get terse responses that were useless - BUT my last problem was handled cordially and QUICKLY. The replacement item arrived in 3 Postal days, the same time it took for the defective item to arrive - 3 Postal days. Most excellent.
Compared to an item ordered on 2/28 which didn't arrive till 3/10, or item ordered on 4/24 which arrived 4/30. As you can see - they've been improving.
This site is growing up, as with time things have improved significantly. I have no problem in recommending the site to others - now, something I wouldn't have done 4 or 5 months ago.
I zoomed through some of the later reviews - good and bad. I'm sure that some of the negative reviews come from the fact that many folks don't understand how these type of site get there stock, and they go crazy when they receive a used/dirty/defective item. The reality is that if you check the post on their web-site's comment areas - folks have the same complaints when they shop at Amazon.com, Buy.com, etc. If the box is in the warehouse, the shipping dept. ships it. It is not their job to check the items. That's they way things work these days.
Things have improved at "1 Sale A Day" and I'm glad cause they liquidated a lot of nice 'toys'.

This was an order for two microscopes, which I bought as gifts. I was frustrated to discover the seller could not support shipping orders to anyplace except the Billing Address. To me (an IT person) this suggests their website is not very robust or flexible. On the other hand, the price was excellent and the items arrived in good order in a reasonable amount of time, so I am satisfied overall and plan to order from these folks again.

I've made a couple of purchases from these guys in the last couple of weeks-- I've rcvd the items I've ordered in the new conditon as described== I read some bad reviews here and some positive ones==I decided to bite the bullet and assume that alot of these complainers might just be anal or think they're paying for fed ex-- I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again when I see something I like, I think this is a great site

bought a microscope a week ago. Didn't hear from them for a week. Contacted via email last night asking for status. This morning get an email: "You will be sent your tracking info shortly." Nothing afterwards. Sent another email to ask. Still nothing.
It seems there is no such thing as "customer serveice", or "order tracking", at this site.

I am a first time buyer using 1saleaday. I read reviews on this page after I placed my order and was scared. That's the only reason I am posting here to let you know my experience. I received confirmation email right away after placing my order on 8/09 but didn't get a tracking number. I was hoping to see that in day or so but didn't receive anything. I wrote a note and they replied right away saying my watch has been shipped and I should get tracking number same day. In short I received my watch today 8/12. I was not expecting to see my purchased item in 3 days. I personally had a great experience.

BEWARE ! - I Ordered an Archos 5 WiFi Internet Media Tablet - Ultra Slim Digital HD AV Player - 250 GB - well I didn't get the slim model and the power/charger/transfer cable doesn't even fit the unit so I have no way of knowing if this unit even works. I too was told to contact the manufacture for support and the manufacture page clearly says if you didn't buy it directly from us, contact who you bought it from! I've emailed support again asking for an Return Authorization to return the unit but have not heard back. Will update if/when I hear back or within 2 days if I do not hear back. This rally stinks as I wanted to have everything loaded on for a vacation in October!

Update 8-8-09: Seller has not responded to email requests for RMA, waiting to hear back still.
Update 8-9-09: Seller wrote back, have information to send unit back, will update once credit card charge has been reversed.
Update 8-16-09: Seller says charge has been credited to my account, bank does not show it yet. This is not unusual for the CU I deal with, batch job I think needs to run tonight. Will update after credit shows on card. Thought I had said this before, but it must have been in emails to the seller, This is the first time I've had a product I was not satisfied with so that isn't too bad I guess. Just the first emails seamed evasive.
Update 8/17/09: Credit appeared on my credit card account at the CU today. Seller true to their word, all is well. I feel like I was treated fair when I complained about my disappointment in the product. This review was modified by its author, gt350, on
