In summary, all's well that ends well.
I ordered an Acer AS1410 notebook from 1saleaday last week, when they were offering an extremely good price, and with 3gb RAM as opposed to the 2gb offered by all other online retailers in the US.
Immediately after ordering, I received a confirmation email. So far so good.
The next day, I checked the site, and noticed that the order was marked as "shipped ground". Great! However, there was *no* tracking information, and I had received no email notification.
I saw on here that they are Brooklyn-based, so assumed shipping would take 1-3 days to me in Washington, DC as it typically does from NYC.
After the weekend passed with no further communication, I got a bit worried, and emailed support@1saleaday.com asking for tracking/shipping information.
Today, with no notice, I got the laptop delivered by Fedex (a seemingly long 7 days after it was marked shipped). Normally, I come home in the afternoon when I know to expect a package. Fortunately, my roommate was home and was able to sign for it.
It appears that 1saleaday is drop-shipping from Shanghai to distribution centers around the USA and thence to the customer, via Fedex Ground. That's okay. The issue is that they communicate their shipping schedule VERY POORLY to their customers, and don't respond to email. In my case, I ended up getting the product 7 days after the order, which is not great but acceptable I suppose. If 1saleaday would make just a *little* more effort to communicate shipping and tracking information, I'm sure they'd have more fully satisfied customers.
UPDATE: A couple hours after receiving the package by Fedex, I got an email from 1saleaday. They were apologetic and said the product was "being shipped" and I would receive an email soon. 9/10/2009 I order (2) Sony 40inch with free (3)HDMI cable for each one total is (6) cable but haven't recieve it.On 9/22 i email them and they say the order has been in process. they send tracking # through my email, but when i recieve the item all it was (6) HDMI cable..then i email them ask where is my TV i order...and haven't got email yet.

My first order came in on time. The watch had a hand come loose from one of the subdials and I emailed customer service. Got a quick response, RMA and UPS label. Look forward to doing business in the future. This review was modified by its author, kevcope, on

After 2 weeks of not receiving my TV, and multiple attempts at contacting them via email, I finally got a tracking number. The problem was, it was being delivered to a place in Massachusetts, and when I called the shipping company, they said they had no record of any shipment being brought to my residence.
I finally resorted to contacting them via phone after this. I had to more, or less, harass them until I finally got a call back. They told me there was a mix up, and that they were finally sending out my TV. They told me I would receive a tracking number later that night. I never got that tracking number, but the TV did finally arrive 3 days later.
When I unboxed the TV, which was suppose to be brand new, great condition, there was several problems. The TV screen was malfunctioned, with a vertical red line going down the left side. Also, it was suppose to come with 3 HDMI cables, which were nowhere to be found. Inside the box, the manual was missing, as well as the screws for the base. Luckily, I was mounting the TV on the wall, and did not need them.
All, and all, my experience with them has been nothing but a nightmare. I will NEVER order from them again, and advise everybody else to stay away. This company is a joke, with their customer service being run by a max. of 3 people. There is NO communication unless you are willing to put in the time and effort to become a bother. And even when you do get the product, you risk throwing away your hard earned money for a malfunctioned product, that you cannot return.

I had a great experience shopping from 1saleaday.com. This is the second purchase I've made from them, and they delivered what they said they would and got it to me in great time. This past purchase I bought a watch from them. The next day the usps tracking said they got the information to ship, but two weeks went by and I never got it. I emailed customer support and they got back to me very quickly and told me if it wasn't delivered by the next business day (after the weekend) they would send another one. Turns out I got it the next day (through no fault of their own).
Definitely buying from them again.

I have placed 2 orders with 1Saleaday.com and I must say I am very impressed! I ordered the Pedi Paws Pets Nail Trimmer and the EZ Kitchen Chopper. Both products arrived in a week and the packaging was excellent on both of them. I would highly recommend 1Saleaday.com. If you have never placed an order through them and you are having your doubts, don't worry it is a safe and secure site. I know I had my doubts before I placed my first order but now I love this site!

I had a very positive experience with 1 Sale a Day. I ordered a cell phone that had an extremely short battery life(15 mins). Reviews I've read indicated the contrary. I informed SaleADay and they sent a new battery. Result was the same. I was then travelling out of town for several weeks and finally let them know that the phone still had the same problem. They sent me an RMA immediately and accepted the return with no issues. Although the phone did not work, the overall experience was very positive and would not hesitate to order from them again.

Usually I am satisfied with them -- the stuff I've gotten from them is often a little crappy, but usually fair for the price paid.
However, I hadn't had to try to deal with their customer service before. I ordered a more expensive item recently, of course it is the only thing that has been a problem. No tracking information was provided, so I asked them to provide tracking information. No luck. So I asked them to either give me shipping details or cancel the order. The only response I can get from them is stuff like "we can't cancel the order" or "the order was sent to the shipping department" or "the order has shipped"... but still no information about the carrier, tracking number, estimated delivery, nothing. The most recent contact from them just said "Your order shipped Friday" -- which is after the day they told me they "can't cancel it because it's shipped".
It sounds like they often do a nice job monitoring this site, so I'm hoping to get some more helpful contact from them soon: please either cancel my order or give me shipping details REALLY SOON, before I'm forced to go to the credit card company for a chargeback.
UPDATE:
They contacted me very soon after posting this, and gave me a thorough update of what is going on and most of the information I wanted. I'll keep updating this, and of course will be much more satisfied when/if the product arrives and in good shape and will update again then.

1saleaday.com is a great way to find deep discounts the deals are not matched anywhere. I buy form them on average once a month and tell all of my friends about it. The last watch I bought from them appraised(@ a mall store) 6 times higher than I paid.
My only complaint is the time it takes to receive the products, although They always arrive with in the time allotted

My first order with the seller was very positive; quick delivery, confirmation, tracking #, great product, the works!
Consequently, as a happy customer I've been checking the site daily for at least the last month shopping for a watch, found one and placed an order. Same thing... quick shipping, accurate tracking and new product. Excellent!
I was let down when the watch didn't work and sent an email to the seller customer support three days ago... no response. Another email was sent this morning to customer service with a copy of my order confirmation thinking that the seller needed more info.
This made me wonder if there were any reviews of the seller and I found this site. I will update this review in a couple of days. From reading previous reviews maybe I've been too impatient... three days seems to be the response time.
UPDATE: just received a reply today 9/21/09 from customer support asking for my order number so they can further assist me. cool!
UPDATE 2: Sent the watch back ($9.00 USPS Priority Mail)... delivery confirmation indicated they received it 9/25/09... currently waiting for replacement.

These guys sent the package to the WRONG address. I e-mailed them after I noticed the tracking # was going to wrong place. They ignored it. Had to do a charge back to get my money back. Just happy I bought with a credit card!

NO ONE should order from this company. I'm not quite sure how they can get away with saying they have any customer support at all. Emails go un-responded and there is no other method to contact them.
Even the small company I work for has better turn-around and we post a customer support phone number too. Of course, if you have good experiences from the get go, you don't need customer support.
I will never recommend this company, in fact, I will ensure others DON'T order from them, unless something seriously remarkable happens soon. Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had.
Clearly, I'm not alone in this assessment, either.

Ordered the Creative Video Blaster Editor on 8/30/09 and the credit card was charged. However, up to today, after 18 days, this company still hasn’t shipped the item. Since the company has never shipped the item, I just simply go to cancel the order. Feel BAD.

I found myself having to return a very expensive (for me) watch. I had not paid attention to the "specs" and, unfortunately, it just would not fit. My initial request for help refereed me to the "policy" ...."it was not defective". After I asked for further consideration, I was thrilled to be given an exception and could return the item. Customer Support staff were polite and
prompt. I will continue to be a good customer and will very carefully read ALL the specs next time.
