On December 1 I purchased a Casio chronograph watch with an alarm. I received the watch on December 9.
Upon my initial inspection of the watch I noticed that the sweep second hand of the chronograph did not line up in the 12 o'clock position; it was stuck between the 11 and 12. Within a few minutes I discovered that the chronograph function and the alarm function of the watch do not work at all. Also, there was no paperwork (instructions or warranty) in the box.
I immediately sent an e-mail to 1 Sale-a-Day expaining my problem. Within a couple of hours I recieved a response saying that they could replace the watch or provide a refund.
I will be sending the watch back for a refund and will update this review with the outcome.

An item I ordered was "Awaiting Pick-Up" for more than a week before I e-mailed Customer Service. Then it moved to "Awaiting Shipment" with a UPS number, but UPS hasn't received the package for more than 48 hours. Terrible service. Comments galore on ResellerRatings.com and elsewhere point to terrible shipping delays and customers often receving returned, broken and/or refurbished merchandise advertised as new.

Service was good at first....I emailed asked them to change my order quantity to 2 and they did so. Unfortunately, they must have forgotten to ship it, since I had to follow up on November 30. I finally received the items today, December 7.
I am quite disappointed in the item. Although I admit I probably didn't read the entire description at the time of purchase, I could have sworn this item was photographed in a plastic blister pack. Since I was giving these as gifts, packaging for presentation was important. They arrived in cardboard boxes, themselves in rough condition, with the parts just rolling around among styrofoam packing peanuts. If I give them as gifts, I'll have to make embarrassing explanations of where I purchased them.
I also thought I read that there were $100 cards to be used for downloading extra songs. The "cards" turned out to be a photo of a card with a card number printed on the instruction sheet.
Very disappointing and pathetic purchase.
To follow up: 1saleaday told me they were having the manufacturer send me two new items to replace the originals, as these were not supposed to have been refurbs/seconds. However, weeks later, I have received nothing, not even a reply to my emails.
Although I had made another purchase from 1saleaday.com which was successful, I have learned that, when things go bad, do not count on them to stand behind what they sell. I've got $60+ worth of garbage here to prove it. This review was modified by its author, slukes, on

I would never order here again, they never tell you they are selling you stuff that will not work that has been return to some store, but never check to see if it works(usually doesn't), your only choice is to check directly with the manufacture for warranty because you will never recover shipping costs....

i can't find any information on USPS portal regarding the tracking number which was given on their portal. there is no update on the order also.
1 sale a day sucks.

I give this company my absolute lowest review. They are selling used equipment without disclosing such information clearly during the ordering process. When I wrote an email complaining about this, they appologized for the used equipment, and then sent me another used item. How stupid is that? If the complaint was for a used item not being disclosed as such on the website, how is sending me another used item going to fix things? Dumb, just dumb.

This was the first and last time i'm dealing with 1saleaday.com. I ordered on 11/13/09 and by 11/24/09 i still haven't received a tracking number. It was saying that it was awaiting pickup. Then when i did get tracking info, i found out it had actually shipped on the 20th. Total lack of customer service.

I placed an order from 1SaleADay.com thinking I was buying two new wireless broadband cards. The product description in my order confirmation is as follows:

Option GT Max 3.6 - Option GT Max 3.6 Unlocked High Speed Laptop Internet Modem Multi-Band 3G Wireless Card with Retractable Antenna $9.99
The items I received have clearly been used extensively, as shown by heavy scratches on bottom side of each card due to removal and insertion into a PC Card slot. These are not cards that were returned within a week of purchase. They look like they were used heavily for a year or more. Additionally, they came without any retail box - just sealed in plastic. It's obvious that these items should have been listed as refurbished at the very least (although "heavily used" would be more accurate), yet I recall no indication whatsoever that these items were described as being refurbished on the product page and my order confirmation does not state anywhere that they are refurbished (see above).
I have contacted 1SaleADay about this matter and am awaiting a response, however I feel it's important that people be aware of this issue immediately, as it seems that I'm not the only person to have ordered an item from 1SaleADay thinking I was ordering a new item, only to receive a refurbished one.
Due to the nature of their website, with products being offered temporarily, there is no way to go back and check the listing of any product you order. So, for your own protection, save the product description page to your computer (click File, Save Page As in Firefox) or do a screen grab of the product page and look carefully for any text indicating you might be receiving a product which is not new (though it appears they intentionally omit that information).
Update - Jan. 8, 2009: Their customer service did the right thing and gave me a full refund. For this, I will update my rating of them accordingly, keeping in mind that they still shouldn't have sold me a refurbished item as "new" in the first place. This site is shady as all hell. I ordered what I thought was a really good deal on an xbox just to get a REFURBISHED one! no where on the sales page did it say it was a refurbished system. A refurbished xbox with no warranty wtf this site obviously knew no one would buy such a worthless piece of garbage so they conveniently left that part out. RIP OFF!!!!!!!!

I ordered a XBOX 360 from ONESALEADAY. When I received the device the packaging was perfect, however after a short time the device failed. This was not the fault of Onesaleaday however I was unsure of how the return process would result. I emailed support as I was unable to locate a phone number and wella the next day I had an RMA number with return info. They advised me that I can get a refund or replacement, my choice. I have returned the device. I was very impressed on the speed of there reponse and support. Everyone knows that you can always find items for less if you search around, but will you have the support when there is a problem. One Sale A day has earned my trust and I will never hesitate to order from them when there is a great find. I have had many orders in the past from them and everything has been great. This just added to the experience.. Thank you onesale a day
***UPDATE***
I shipped the device and it was recieved by 1 Sale A DAY on 11/18 and it is currently 12/4 and NO CREDIT after several emails. This is dissapointing. After 2+ weeks The only response I have recieved:

This has got to be the worse place that I have ever dealt with. On the 4th of November I placed an order for a GPS that they were selling. It is now the 16th and I have yet to receive anything. I have contacted support three different times. Some guy named Mooky keeps giving me the runaround. Today they finally said that my GPS has been shipped and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number has been with UPS since Friday and it is just electronic transmission stating that there is a package to be delivered, they do not have the merchandise in their hands as of yet to ship. I would not and I will not buy from this company again. It is companies like this that reflect bad on the companies that do sell quality and support. This is a company that make people afraid to do any shopping on the Internet. The Companies that have a good track record should work hard to put companies like 1SaleADay out of bussiness for good.

I ordered 3 GARMIN 255 GPS systems and still have not received anything. I emailed the 1saleaday contact information with no response. The shipping # they gave me for UPS is bogus and was voided out. Now I have to contact my credit card company to get my money back.

Placed 2 orders - this one for wireless adapters, and another for a wireless camera. Got the wireless adapters today - one obviously broken, all in torn up, shoddy packaging. USPS delivery on the camera shows as number not found. No responses to emails.

Purhcased an Item they sent me an email saying the item was shipped but no tracking number. Two weeks later I emailed them... nothing... filed a Paypal Claim on then then got a response, oh yeah we will ship out tommmorrow... I told Paypal and they made them refund my money... what a horrible merchant this is...never again.

Do not buy from this company.
They lie about shipping - my order status was changed to shipped 3 days after ordering, yet I could not get a tracking number from Sarah - she kept saying I would receive an e-mail with tracking info (twice).
Almost 3 weeks later - I opened a Paypal dispute, and finally got some information. I found out that the item was not shipped (scanned into UPS) until AFTER I created the dispute - 3 weeks after I ordered. This review was modified by its author, mphuie, on
