Order placed Monday before Noon. Shipment arrived following Monday afternoon. Attempts to contact were ignored until I threatened to challenge the credit card purchase. Obtained an RMA, but subsequent return of merchandise was refused and shipped back to me (at my request). Needless to say, after nearly a month of frustration and $30 worth of shipping charges for components I cannot use, I will NOT do any business with 3DCool.com in the future.

3DCOOL regrets that we have a dissatisfied customer. Our goal is to go above and beyond any effort to ensure that our customers are happy. 3DCOOL prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction. 3DCOOL will always attempt to find a solution for our customers. We stand ready to still help this customer reach an amiable solution. Here is a chronology of the events so that our other customers can understand the level of effort that 3DCOOL pursues.  
Customer ordered product on 4/12/04 and order was shipped on 4/12/04. Customer is located in CA which is standard 7 day lead-time from NY per UPS GND.  
On 4/27/04 customer called requesting RMA. 3DCOOL called and sent customer an email with no response.  
On 4/29/04 3DCOOL called the customer again and provided RMA. Customer indicated that the product did not fit. 3DCOOL offered customer RMA per company policy.  
On 5/3/04 3DCOOL received product from customer. The CPU Cooler was not only used, but deeply scratched. The power supply was marred and scratched from use and trying to force a standard power supply into a micro ATX chassis. Called customer to discuss and offered several alternatives. Even in light of obvious wear and mishandling, 3DCOOL offered the customer 50% back. We also offered the customer other solutions at reduced costs. Our customer care team spent considerable time on the phone attempting to resolve the issue. Customer indicated that they wanted product reshipped to their address. 3DCOOL returned product at our own expense.  
3DCOOL prides itself on customer service and satisfaction, but we cannot accept mishandled product in good faith to protect our supplies and other customers. 3DCOOL offers a toll-free number to encourage our customers to call to help make the proper buying decision, as well as to provide guidance on installations. Again, 3DCOOL is ready to still help this customer reach an amiable solution.

I purchased a couple items including a $26 vantec aeroflow cpu/heatsink fan which I received DOA and which also ended up shorting out the cpu fan header on my brand new Abit NF7-S motherboard. After speaking to 3dcool.com and asking if I could just purchase a new one and send the broken one back for a refund I was told that they would not pay for the broken motherboard and that my options were either to return the fan to vantec for an RMA, return it to 3dcool.com for a RMA or return it to 3dcool.com for a refund or exchange BUT then I'd have to pay a 15% restocking charge, for a defective item mind you! Are they going to resell the broken item? It's not my fault they sold me a defective part. So then I will end up paying $7 in shipping plus $4 for the fee, that's $11 out of my pocket to end up with nothing. They are punishing the customer for purchasing a defective part instead of just sending me a new one so that I could throw this one away and keep me as a happy customer, it's just bad business. Their return policy on the 3dcool.com website even states "I understand that a 15% restocking fee is applicable to all non-defective returns for refund." Seeing as my product IS defective then why are they charging me 15%, it's ludicrous, they just want more money out of the customer. Other problems are slow web site, horrible shopping cart system, being forced to store my credit card number when creating an account is not acceptable and very cold and uninterested, unhelpfull emails from their support and sales. I will never purchase anything from them again, and I highly recommend you do not either.

Ordered from them some items, about two months later I had not recieved them, sent them an email about it , they said they would look into it and would give me an answer the next week.. when I pressed them for answers I never got a reply. 67$ lost there. Terrible service. Do not advice anyone to shop with them.

Ordered a product and paid for 3-day shipping. Credit card was charged on same day as I ordered the product. Product was not shipped until two days later. Delivery therefore spanned a weekend; end result: it took seven days to receive the product, even though I paid for 3-day shipping.

On behalf of the 3DCOOL Team, we want to extend an apology to this customer. 3DCOOL never likes to let one of our valued customers down. However, even though the order was shipped within our published lead-time of up to 2 business days, the customer felt that it took too much time even though a weekend was involved. The majority of all of our global orders do ship within one business day. But depending on the time an order is received in our system following an approval by our on-line bank, the time could spill over into the next business day. Further, the customer felt that 3DCOOL had captured his funds prior to shipment. Actually, this was not the case. Our shopping cart system will not allow funds to be captured until the product has actually shipped. I had a very productive conversation with this customer who was impressed with the fact that someone would even call. He indicated that he will do business with 3DCOOL in the future. 3DCOOL will considers this review constructively and will do all we can to beat our customers expectations.

1. 3DCool.com didn't email me to notify me that my item shipped, which is unusual in my online buying experience.  
2. The tracking number furnished by 3DCool.com is invalid according to UPS (after I notified 3DCool of this via email, they responded by admitting that they goofed and that the unit was shipped by Fedex.  
 
I haven't received the order yet, so I will reserve final judgement.

1-Oct-2007, I placed an order (#23896) to purchase 3 fans. 3DCool.com has got my money but it rejects to deliver me the items because I didn't select the shipping method. The web system just showed me the shipping method : This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order. Obviously I couldn't select / change any shipping method. I've sent 4 emails to sales@3dcool.com:  
 
4-Oct-2007 - My 1st email: asked why don't process my order  
 
4-Oct-2007 - Reply to my 1st email: It was because I didn't select the shipping method. sales@3dcool.com asked me what shipping method I want to choose.  
 
5-Oct-2007 - My 2nd email: I explained (with evidence) the web system doesn't allow me to select / change any shipping method. I don't know what shipping methods I can choose as well as the prices. I aslo complained the operation of the web system.  
 
No response to my 2nd email.  
 
8-Oct-2007 - My 3rd email: I explained again my difficulty that I couldn't select any shipping method and I don't know the details of shipping methods. I requested sales@3dcool.com gave me the detailed shipping information. I also requested sales@3dcool.com informed me how to contact the top management for further complaint. I also stated that I might seek help form Police.  
 
No response to my 3rd email.  
 
8-Oct-2007 - My 4th email: I accept 3DCool.com cancels my order and refunds my money. I'm also willing to pay a reasonable price for the adminstration fee. Just hope 3DCool.com lets me know what 3DCool.com will do for my case.  
 
No response to my 4th email.  
 
 
It seems that 3DCool.com just wants to take my money but it never delivers me anything. Hope the top management can read this message and take an action for this case.  
 
 
PS: All the above dates are based on HK region.

Product was received quickly in the mail, even tho it was coming from the states. Quick to response to emails.  
 
Not too sure about their shipping charges however. I bought a $4.95 product, shipping was $5.05. When I got the product the shipping charge on the box said $1.65. Just seems like they rounded up to $10. I was going to make another order with them (as I had forgot to order two of the product I had initally ordered) and I was going to add another item to the list (which could of fit in the same box) and they wanted to charge even MORE for shipping?!?  
 
Seems like a company that tries to make money of shipping for those who don't know much about it. Will be my last order with them.  
 
Found another place in Canada (mail order) that sells the same stuff, so I'll be ordering from them instead.

Had some issue with UPS delivery resulting in a delay but 3DCool service was hugely responsive which made it very tolerable. My e-mails were returned within half a day and calls were picked up straight up by a *person* who was immediately helpful.

Shipping date was stated as the 29th, but did not ship until the 2nd of December. One week later than stated.  
 
Further review, and I would re rate the company asbetter than average. Their response to my disatisfaction would indicate a caring company. It would have been just as easy to blow this off, and lose one customer. I'll probably try them one more time after the Holidays to see if things are better, and I am somehow sure they will be.

3DCOOL.COM indeed miscommunicated the ship date to this and other customers shipping ground about the November 29th shipments. We failed to realize that UPS was only making Air Shipments and not Ground Shipments on the 29th because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. To Dickn and all of our valued customers, we apologize!!! We should have been aware of the altered schedule!!!

3dcool always ships fast ive orded from them several times my only problem with them is in their web site.. the fans listing they dont competely show all the fan informations for example: I ordered a 120mm fan and the power rating was not listed so i dont know if i can hook it up too my 6watt baybus or not untill it gets here. Other then a lack of information its one of my favorite online computer stores

First time order with this company. Very satisfied! They processed the order and shipped the same day it was received. Ordered on a friday and received it tuesday.Reasonable shipping costs, and they kept me updated on the progress of the order.Would use again and recommend!

Outstanding service and shipping options from this vendor (USPS). I wanted to rate SilenX but as silenX apparently does not sell direct I had to rate the reselling vendor with their invoice.  
 
The SilenX 80mm 14db fan I ordered from them (to replace the SilenX one that went out in just a few months) is already making a buzzing noise. The fans shipped have a lighter "non UV" hue of color (to include the 120mm fan which BTW barely blows any air) than the newer SilenX ones--buyer beware. Also had a SilenX PSU blow. Done with SilenX for good. They suck. Second rate products. If I were 3DCOOL.COM I'd stop distributing SilenX products. Unless shipping and return shipping are included in refunds I doubt it's worth the trouble and money to return. Learned my lesson I guess.

First time using this store. Was very pleased. I was able to find the exact product i wanted from this store where i couldn't find it anywhere else. Everything was just like they said. My order was processed within 1 day and my shipment expected arrival is what it's supposed to be. I will deffinitely be shopping there again. On a scale from 1-10 they get an 11 :)
