The service and support for Alienware has so far been excellent. I received my X-58 on the planned ship date which was a surprise. The box was in great shape and the computer flawless. Once you get the computer plugged in and turned on the set up was quick and easy. And let me tell you this machine is smokin fast. I opted for the least expensive i7 the 920 which is plenty powerful. (with a little overclocking) tossed in a single GTX 295 with 6 gigs of RAM and this computer does everything I need it to do with plenty of room for an additional card later on once the prices drop. Plays WoW at ultra settings at 60+ fps no problem. Crysis on High at 45-55 fps. Great computer and great service

I purchased a ALX-58 and I am very glad that I did. I had Dell XPS's before and the performance of the Alienware X58 leaves it in the dust.

First I ordered the Area 51 750I and the customer service was good and so was the shipping but when I recieved it the door was missing a pin so that pissed me off, other than the pc is really good. It plays games good etc. Then I ordered the M17 laptop one week later and everything was great until I called back a couple days later and tried to get the upgraded illuminated keyboard after the purchase. I got hung up on at least 5 times and tranfered several times until I finally got a representative that helped me and said that their call centers were all around the world. So the customer service in this this category sucks. The computers are great though.

I recently purchased an M17 laptop from Alienware. I had been searching for some time for the right laptop and couldn't find it anywhere until I came upon the M17. It had the power and speed that I, as a non-gamer, was looking for in a laptop. This machine is a beast - the speed is extraordinary, the RAM is awesome, the finish is unlike any of the run-of-the-mill laptops, the custom case is exceptional, and the quality is superb. This laptop will run circles around my desktop at home and any other laptop I have ever seen. I am the envy of my family with this new laptop as well as my fellow workers and everyone who sees it. I would recommend Alienware and the M17 to anyone looking for a new computer and, after using this machine for a few weeks, I don't understand how other brands are selling when this one is available. It is not the least expensive but the benefits per unit of cost are the highest of any machine available.

I have been using my M17 for half a year now and I can say I have never used a better laptop. I am the envey of all my geek buddies. This laptop will run graphics heavy games a lot better than a lot of desktops will

I purchased an Alienware Area-51 x58, and am very satisfied at the performance that it has. All of my games that demand a lot from a computer, such as Unreal Tournament 3, Bioshock, and Fallout 3 play superbly!  
 
My only complaint is that window's vista is not completely backwards compatible! As far as incorporating all of my older games,(I have a lot of mods and addons), I have integrated my wife's old window's xp computer into my configuration (sharing the same lcd monitor, keyboard, game pad, and optical mouse), so that I can still play all of my old window's 98 and XP games with just the flip of a switch.  
 
I would recommend an Alienware to anyone who claims to be a serious gamer as a necessity in order to stay ahead of the competition.  
 
Also, when you have it equipped with all the most high tech equipment, multi-tasking and having the ability to play future games is so easy!  
 
Did I mention the best graphics, high frame rates, quietness, and expandability??  

I purchased an Area 51 750i and it is the best computer I have ever seen. On my old computer all of my games were so slow and the computer just wasn't that great. On this one everything runs so smooth. The computer is just amazing.

this is my second alienware system my first was a alienware aurora bought 6 years ago just needed to be updated still works fine received my Area-51® X58 system kicks ass communication and support are excellent and would not hesitate to recomend them to friends and family i am very happy with both systems they exceeded far and beyond my expectations

1) the system rocks. I play World of Warcraft mainly, and it just does everything perfectly. Yes, Warcraft doesn't require much to play, but I have no issues at all to report. Even the built in Bluetooth works great with my bluetooth headset. Doing dailies, 25 man ulduar raids, or even in Dalaran, all over 60FPS, usually over 100FPS.  
 
I've played Fallout 3, all max settings, perfect.  
 
Also played Rainbow 6, Vegas 2, all max settings, perfect.  
 
Now for the things most people don;t think about. I game at home, but travel thru the week. Hotels typically have thick walls which is hard to get wireless signals through. The intel WiFi works much better than my old laptop. I do use an external USB wifi adapter at times so I can string it under the room door to the hallway, but rarely need to anymore.  
 
I also use an external gaming mouse and keyboard at home. When I plug them in, the laptop automatically senses them and seamlessly turns off the touchpad. No annoying software glitches.  
 
I use an external monitor at home, once set up, i just plug it in and it puts the settings the way I want them every time. no farting and frigging around.  
 
I paid a LOT for this laptop, but I'd do it again. So far it's worth every penny. I opened the box, and it just works hassle free.  
 
also, the solid state drive is great! if you have the cash, go for it!  
 
my only negative is the hard carry case I bought. There is no protection for the laptop, and is made from cheap painted Tin. Very prone to scratches. Imagine packing your laptop in a standard suitcase. it just rattles around with no padding. no thanks, i use my backpack case from my old computer.  
 
as far as customer service goes, I enjoyed the purchase website. Simple to navigate. the purchase was quick, and was delivered in record time. I haven't had to call them with any issues so far, so I can't tell you much about that. Maybe the product quality is such that I don;t HAVE to call them :)

My ordering of my Alienware system was phenomenal. The site was amazing and the options available were all top grade. In addition the build process was great and my new PC came fully configured and personalized to my specifications. I couldn't be happier with the performance of my new PC and would recommend Alienware to any avid PC gamer or someone looking for true performance.

I ordered an Area-51 750i and it actually exceeded my expectations, it is so far the best computer I or my family has owned. Their service was really good, I got it right on time. I would definitely recommend Alienware for your gaming computer needs.

IT HANDLES EVEN THE MOST HIGHLY DETAILED COMPLEX ELEVATION ELEVATION DRAWINGS QUICKLY AND PRECISELY. GRAPHICS ARE SUPER SHARP FOR VERY FINE DETAIL WORK. THE LIQUID COOLED FEATURE IS VERY QUIET. MY CLIENTS ARE ALWAYS AWESTRUCK BY THE IMPRESSIVE APPEARANCE OF THE X58. IF MY DESIGN PROGRAM EVER OUTGROWS THE X58 (WHICH I DOUBT) IT WILL BE REPLACED BY ANOTHER ALIENWARE PRODUCT.
