machine arrived in the promised time. we experienced a conflict between the system components that caused the machine to freeze. phone tech support was high quality and patient. we tried everything over the phone. finally, they suggested shipping the unit back for testing at their cost. this was done, and within 2 weeks we had the machine back, and everything was okay. 3 months later, the modem got cooked during a lightening storm. even though this wasn't a product defect, Alienware replaced the modem at no cost to us. i think their support is fantastic.

I think that the products and support that alienware provides are exeptional and they are always the top of the line and you couldn't buy a better computer. I think that you are an outstanding computer company that started out building good computers for a small croud but you have grown tremendously but you still are comitted to making excellent computers.

I bought an MJ-12DDR system,this system screams!!! I had a great experience with Alienware, the selection of components available was staggering. The system runs great and only crashes ocasionally due to a problem between the Nvidia graphics drivers and my Newtek Lightwave 3D software. The packageing and delivery was problem free. It did take a while for the order to go through but that was mostly because my credit card company thought the purchase was suspicious so I had to call them and tell them it was O.K. The only gripe I have is that the color(Martian Red) of the case looks completely different than it does on the web site,I should have ordered Blue, but this is of course VERY MINOR.I'm really very pleased as this system is 500 times better than any of my previous PC's!

Alienware delivered as promised. From the day I opened the box, my Area-51 system has performed beautifully. And on those rare occasions when I had a problem, the Alienware tech support quickly got me up and running again. I am definitely and Alienware customer for life.

An excellent machine, stable, reasonably priced, and the custom orange paint job is great. The case is easy to open and has plenty of room for upgrading. The machine runs loud and a little hot, but it's not enough to be a real problem for most. My order, which consisted of the machine and a matching optical mouse, arrived on time and in perfect condition, and Alienware was also prompt in sending a check for a $100 system purchase coupon that I had found in the packaging of a previous PC game purchase. I am satisfied with every aspect of the purchase and will gladly buy from Alienware again in the future.

Got the computer, a little later than I had liked but that was mostly my fault. But it was damn worth the wait. I love my Aurora DDR box. It was very easy for me to make my modifications to it. Design was great. Best of all it was as fast and as robust as expected. If I wasn't a poor college student I'd buy another computer from Alienware anytime.

I got what I asked for. Paid what I was willing and waited patiently until it arrived. If you are one of those who cannot stomach the wait or the price. I believe K-Mart will be selling computers soon, along with registers, and shopping carts from their many closing stores. In the mean time, I've more than made up for the wait with blazin' speeds and an over-all very responsive system.  

I purchased a customized box for my web development & graphics design work. It's blazing fast, runs at a low temp, and has served me well. The order & shipment process is lengthy, but well worth it. I would refer a friend to them with no hesitation; although the performance is pricey...

Ah, Alienware....  
Okay, first of all, as a home consumer and avid computer-user/gamer, I have come in contact with many different computer companies over my PC gaming career. Let me just say that the fine people at Alienware have the best computers I've come across. ...Ever. The system is ROCK solid and has yet to crash on me. Even when I had one glitch with some drivers, the technical support staff was friendly, polite, and might have well had been sitting right there next to me, because that's what it felt like even over the phone. When I was first deciding between Alienware and Falcon-Northwest, I chose Alienware due to their immaculate track record for creating beasts of machines, and I'm so very glad I made the right decision. All of my friends and relatives envy my machine, and I've sold the majority of them on making their next machine an Alienware. Here's a simple example of quality: A friend of mine built a computer using parts he ordered over the Internet. Now, the specs of this machine are IDENTICAL to mine, yet my Aurora DDR loads up the same games faster than an identical machine built at home. Just goes to show that having a hand-built machine made by the professionals at Alienware really makes a difference. I have no need to go anywhere else for my future computer needs (and there will be many) because I'm positive that I've found the ultimate in computer gaming quality. Rarely do I sign my name to a company, but this time, I think I'm an Alienware customer for life. When trying to answer the question of which brand to go with when it comes to computers, there is no question... ...Alienware is it.

I ordered a Area 51...heavily custimized. The process was quick and easy. The wait time really sucks but hey..good things come to those who wait. I have called Customer service a couple of times to check. They have always been easy to talk to..so far. We will see how they are if I have issues......update  
 
I recieved the PC today. The package it arrived in was damaged but the PC wasn't...thank God. THe only trouble i had was one of the cards was not installed correctly. I attribute that to the jostling the box recieved in transit. Perhaps it fell out of the motherboard just enough to piss it off. I called tech support to give them a chance to rectify this. They were very nice and walked me though the same steps i would have performed. (I have 15 years PC support exp) Very knowledgable and apologized for the issue. In any event this was fixed and I am happy. BTQ...their wiring job is so beautiful I about cried!!!!! I installed a 2nd HD and had to cut a few wire ties. I hated doing that but oh well. Very well done guys!!!!

Notebook Alienware is maybe a little pricy, but is worth the investment. Fully upgradable and reliable, fast and The Best Customer Support you will Ever Find. Used to do power point presentations at work with different types of projectors, she recognizes every single one of them w/o having to do any changes in settings. It is widely promoted as a gamer machine, but should be promoted strongly as a best business allied due to her reliability. Just Love it!

I have the Area-51m laptop and I love it! When I ordered my laptop I ordered over the phone and the salesman was very helpful and helped me to configure my system to my specfications and also price wise. I did have a problem with it when I first received it, I would always have a blue screen when I started it and sometimes it would take a while to even get it going. Tech tried to solve the problem over the phone thinking it was a windows problem or driver of some type not loading correctly. When that wasn't successful then they asked me to return it for repairs. I was given an RMA number and instructions on how to ship it. I boxed it in the original box, Fed Ex came right to my door and picked it up, that was on a Wednesday; I had my laptop back by the following Thursday AND it has worked perfectly ever since. I've had a great experience with Alienware and I would highly recommend them, but there systems are a little spendy.

Great value, outstanding quality! I normally self-build my PCs, but Alienware managed to put together a system (their Aurora DDR) that had all the components I would have used, for very competetive prices, and without the headaches of trial-and-error troubleshooting on my own. That, plus you can customize anything you want to meet your needs.  
 
I've had no problems since I got it, and will definitely buy from them again. Highly recommended!

Awesome, flawless, hmmmm...that about covers it. If you are looking for the most beautifully built machines on the market, then Alienware is the place! The purchasing proccess was painless. Greg did a great job at helping me out with my order! After they built the beast, they sent it on its way. Seeing the box arrive and opening it was almost as much fun as playing on it! Keep up the great work Alienware!

Really great prices on the high end laptops. I think i paid maybe 200 dollars less than a comparable dell would have cost. The option of complete customization including chasis is very nice. They offer a very good selection of parts for the laptop.  
Customer service was very nice, i never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a rep to tell help me address my problem (although i haven't had any problems with the computer itself i had some problems getting my credit card company to let it go through on the credit card).  
They include a very nice mouse pad as well! I like the system specs sheet so i can see everything quickly. Only thing i didn't like is that they didn't off an amd laptop machine, but that could be because amd isn't as up to snuff on laptops.  
The computer runs everything i need it to, and can act as a backup machine for all my program, even the resource intensive games.  
Really great computer and great company.
