I usually have great service from SuperMediaStore but this time it was horrible! I purchased blank DVDs at buy-one-get-one-free but I never got my free order. I had a feeling that I wasn't going to get the free order based on the way the invoice was written. The response I got from Customer Service was "In reply to your concern, Please note that the offer stated in the email flyer would ship automatically with your order. Please be informed that it would not reflect on the packing slip or on the Invoice." That was February 2nd...still no shipment. I was then told to CALL Customer Service instead of emailing, which I did, and Shanay said she'd take care of it. That was February 11th...still no shipment. I then emailed again and received the following response on February 19th: " I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I have forwarded this issue to our shipping department and we will get back to you with the status of the Free item shortly. Your patience in this regard is appriciated." Today is February 21st and I'm beginning to wonder if I got scammed.

We certainly apologize for any inconvenience. Our company uses Environmental Friendly Packing Material. Our peanuts are made from cornstarch,which is biodegradable. Whenever the packing peanuts are wet, they will start to become sticky before they dissolve. Therefore, weather condition must have caused the package to become wet during transit. We will be sending our shipper carrier to pick up the package. We would be more than happy to send you out a replacement or refund you.

AVOID Linkyo Corp dba Supermediastore.com! Ran FIVE separate authorizations on my credit card for the same order, REFUSES to respond to email about the problem and won't remove the multiple authorizations. Now working on complaint to California Attorney General.

Your information is completely incorrect and you obviously have not talked to anyone associated with our credit card account (especially since they could not legally disclose to a third party information about "activity from your account since Sep 5th 2009"). There has been almost daily activity on the account since Sep 5th, including charges from other vendors completed on 12/18/09 and 12/21/09, and most importantly: FIVE charges from YOU shown on it right this second:

We have these documented in multiple .pdf saves of the account statement page over the last three days, as well as in screen grab images, one of which YOU HAVE because we emailed it to you repeatedly. The credit card company confirms that FIVE authorizations were made and are currently pending.  
 
Your statement "there are no transactions of $135.98" is obviously intentionally deceptive, because:  
1.) I can see FIVE charges of 135.97 on my account right this very minute.  
2.) You are using, probably intentionally, the wrong total. The charge is $135.97, not $135.98. I doubt you talked to anyone associated with our credit card account at all, due to the BS "no activity since Sep 5" claim, but if you did, you intentionally were inquiring about the wrong amount.  
3.) YOU PROCESSED AND SHIPPED THE ORDER, a fact of which you are well aware. It is order # W3072025, with FedEx tracking number 157857871628416. Here is the tracking ( http://www.fedex.com/Tracking ) as it stands now:

Are you actually publicly declaring that you have not charged us for this order (when in fact you have charged us FIVE TIMES), and that you will not be charging us for the order at all? That is what "no charges of $135" would reflect... NO CHARGE. Really? REALLY?  
 
You're public response is laughable. Instead of admitting a chronic problem with multiple authorizations (see 1-star reviews right here in their resellerratings reviews... sort by "low" ratings and look around July 2009 for multiple reviews describing the EXACT SAME multiple-charges and their statements to customers that alot of people were double-charged) and in the face of a picture of the five charges as shown on our account statement, you chose to publicly LIE about the matter and attempt to create the impression that the complaint is not founded. Well, let me tell you something, the FIVE charges shown right this second on our account tell a different story, the true one: You ran FIVE authorizations for the same order, you processed and shipped the order, and you nonsensically are claiming that our card company says there are no charges at all. This is complete BS. I just called the credit card company and they confirm FIVE authorizations pending on the account, all for $135.37. FU. California Attorney General complaint is filed, we are tracking down your merchant bank now and will complain to them and to MasterCard, as this is a flagrant violation of merchant rules that you apparently want to deny instead of address.  
 
BEWARE: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH TO COVER UP AND DENY THEIR SCREW-UPS AND WILL TAKE FOREVER TO ANSWER YOUR EMAILS. As of right now, they have, at a minimum, appropriated about $540 of our line of credit without permission or justification, in violation of banking and credit card regulations, and they are doing everything they can to deny that it occurred. Don't believe them... FIVE $135.37 charges to our account say otherwise.  
 
Due to the pathetic and deceptive response here, we are now pursuing our complaint through other channels, both government and in the banking and credit card systems within which you violated numerous rules and regulations.

This is the most disappointing purchase that our company has made in recent memory from an online retail store. Our order was placed two weeks ago and for a product that we were supposed to allow 3 to 5 business days to ship, it has yet to be shipped out.  
 
We placed the order with a company fairly close to our own headquarters in the hopes that the item would arrive as quickly as possible to allow us to finish an important project. Due to delays that customer service is unable to explain to us, our project has been held up one week (and counting) already and it looks like we will have to wait until the 3rd week for this item to ship. Considering next week is the Thanksgiving holiday, more delays seem to be on the horizon.

I CALLED AND ASKED IF MY BANK WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED. THEY TOLD ME NO! NEXT DAY MY BANK WAS CHARGED FOR THE CANCELED ORDER. I CALLED AND ASKED THEM TO RETURN MY MONEY. THEY TOLD ME THEY SHIPPED THE ORDER AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY MONEY UNTIL THEY GOT THERE SHIPPMENT BACK.IN SHORT,THEY TRICK YOU INTO ORDERING ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN STOCK AND THEN THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. I CANCELED MY ORDER ON: 11/06/09,TODAY IS 11/12/09 AND THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY.THEY SAID I MIGHT GET MY MONEY BACK IN ABOUT 3 TO 5 DAYS... NONE OF THIS WAS MY FALT.DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. First off...you get what you pay for...the laser printer toner was only 25$ from Linkyo, for a product that normally costs $70 from the manufacturer. MY ADVICE: PAY THE EXTRA COST AND BUY MANUFACTURER TONER! Your printer cost you a lot of money, don't risk it with cheap toner.....Shipping ok, packaging ok, service ok....However, the Chinese knock-off toner  
cartridge was a piece of junk...the  
return process was smooth, but the only  
reason it was worth returning was that  
Linkyo made an exception for me,did not  
charge return shipping, or the 15% restocking  
fee. If I had paid those charges, I would have  
spent half of the original cost of the item....  
To Linkyo's credit, this problem is not their  
fault, but a difficulty of online purchasing in  
any case. I have found that best online companies stand by their products and pay return shipping, with no restocking fees...These companies easily win the undying loyalty of their customers....WHY CHARGE RETURN SHIPPING AND RESTOCKING FEES, UNLESS YOU ARE EXPECTING A LOT OF RETURNS, WHICH SHOWS THAT YOU DON'T TRUST YOUR OWN MERCHANDISE, OR YOUR CUSTOMERS? Shoddy marketing practices attract shoddy customers, and lead to shoddy transactions, with everyone dissatisfied, seller and purchaser alike. Linkyo will only waive the return shipping and restocking fees if you get lucky and ask the right sales rep....Again, you get what you pay for, so, all you cheap sellers and buyers, enjoy your own company, you deserve each other. I for one am really tired of all this hassle, and have  
taken my business elsewhere. I have only myself to blame, as I was trying to be cheap, so I ended up in a cheap deal. IT IS REALLY SICK HOW FULL OF CHEAP AND GREEDY PEOPLE THE INTERNET HAS BECOME. Adios, your amigo, El Cheapo

Ordered 100 cd cases. Order arrived with 35 of the cases damaged and unusable. Cases were squeezed into a box with NO buffer or packing to protect them. Unbelievable stupidity. Contacted them immediately. They replied with an email requesting a description of the damage (I sent the info again even though I had previously done so in detail at their site.) The email came back as undeliverable several days later. I sent another, it came back as undeliverable. Went back to the site and restated problem. NO RESPONSE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO CONSIDERATION. A truly inept company that is rude and unresponsive. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND..... WILL POST THIS INFO ON OUR SITE WHICH DEALS WITH PROFESSIONALS IN THE AUDIO/VIDEO INDUSTRY.

Extremely unhappy. I ordered printer cartridges on Saturday morning. They said that they would be delivered in 5 days. I figured okay, I would get them by Friday. The post office gets my stuff cross country in 4 days for $4.90. I paid $11.40. Today, Friday, I find out that 5 days doesn’t count the first day Monday. FedEx does not delivery on Saturdays or Mondays, so I’m getting them on Tuesday, so 5 days is 10 days.. Nice to find out the day you expect delivery. I recommend you pay the difference and to Office Deport or Office Max.

I took a chance one day on Super Media Store because they had something I needed. Prodisc Black CD-R's with a shiny top side for thermal printers. I purchased the set and I was very pleased. Even today, I still come back here for all my Media needs as they are affordable, and I know what I to expect when I place my Order.  
 
Lately though, I seem to have mixed feelings. They don't bother to honor their promises. Why bother wasting my time reviewing them if they are a lousy company who can not even keep a promise they were were supposed to honor. I don't mind much for the free item, but the point is, if someone asks you to write a review, and you do spend time to write one, the company better honor their "free gift" offer or not bother offering ANYTHING at all.  
 
These terrible people would not even respond to my email. Probably have it on a bulletin board to laugh at for all I know. Oh well.

I have recently tried to purchase brother lc 51 ink cartridges. Today only i received them and found it to be a third party company named G & G.  
 
When i talked about this with customer service they have simply cut my phone.  
 
I found it very discouraging because i am looking to buy brother ink cartridges only.  
 
In future please mention the names of the exact company instead of mentioning "brother compatible" cartridges.

The Website clearly states is a compatible inkjet cartridge which means it’s a “generic brand” not made from the manufacture of your printer. Customer service is the worst I have encountered.  
 
I received my order for an LG LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray HD-002-2668 Rewriter/HD DVD Drive -  
OEM. I did not receive the blank BluRay DVD/RE that was in the LG "what's included list".  
Customer service sais that I shluld only get the drive. When I pointed out that I received the cables & the other items on the list, she said that the cables were needed to make the drive work< but the DVD was not. She suggested that I resolve the missing item with the manufacturer. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she put me on a hold that was too long to wait for.

Ink cartridge was terrible quality. Ordered it 2-day for an urgent project and it obviously didn't work. Spent an hour on the phone trying to get a refund but they still would not refund shipping cost (which is stated in their terms but still...). Customer service was pretty bad. Refund still hasn't come back to my credit card.

Two of the ink cartridges did not work, I emailed them asking what could be done to resolve this issue, however, I never heard back from them. I will not be purchasing ink from this site again.

Charged TWICE for order. Customer Service said 'it happened to a lot of people that day'. CS said money has been refunded, but Credit Card company says not.  
On the third call asking for refund I was told refund was already made and email verification would be sent to me. It was never sent, but refund was eventually made (about 9 days later).  
They posted a response here saying they were sorry, but never responded to me. BAD SERVICE. Steer Clear!!  
I got a cheap tape measure gift in the mail 12 days after order (no explanation).
