Bought a refurbished "120gb xbox 360 hard drive." Turns out it was just a 20gb hard drive in a 120gb hard drive case.

Received this item and it was DOA although it was listed on their website as refurbished which means that it had been checked for working condition. Reading the fine print they have a 20% restocking fee which is outrageous. I definitely would not recommend these people for ANY type of purchase. VERY UNRELIABLE!

This company does not respond to returned items at all! If you can find someone else to purchase your items from, I suggest you do so. We didn't receive an adapter with the phone, and they never responded to emails and calls regarding this. When they finally did, it was too late to return according to their return policy... what a coincidence.

Bait and Switch: Ordered Sony NP-FG1 InfoLITHIUM battery, Condition: New/Open Box; received cheaper NP-BG1 battery.

I purchased a xbox wireless headset claimed to be refurbished. The thing arrived loose in a fed-ex mailer with no paperwork at all - only the headset and cord. It would not power on and I have been attempting to return it to overstockdealz.com since 12-27-08. Because it had been more than 14 days from order - even though I did not recieve it until 12-15-08 which is 12 days in my possession- they would not do anything. I purchased the extended warranty and can't get any info where to send it for replacement. Numerous emails have been a waste of time since all responses seem to be "canned" reply and not really address the questions asked.  
 
This company is a real rip-off and the run around from customer service e-mail is nothing but mor frustration. I wish I had never done business with them!!

THIS PHONE WAS NOT 'NEW' AS STATED. IT WAS USED AND THE CLEVER FOLKS AT OVERSTOCK DEALZ NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CLEAR THE PREVIOUS OWNER'S PHONE CALL HISTORY!!!!! Waiting to see if they will send me a rebate.

I purchased and xbox 360 which was sold as clearly as NEW/OPEN BOX not used. I tested the product when i first received it and it worked for a couple of months then broke. I called Micorsoft and they told me the product was registered to another person. After finaly convincing Microsoft that I purchased the xbox as new they agreed to fix it and sent me a shipping label. My xbox was returned UNFIXED. MICROSOFT SERVICE SAID MY XBOX HAD BEEN TAMPERED WITH. THIS WAS IN NOW WAY A "NEW/OPEN BOX" THIS WAS CLEARLY A VERY USED CONSOLE. BUYER BEWARE THIS ITEM WAS MISREPRESENTED.

Buyers beware! I purchased a refurbished item which I would have thought meant was broken at one time but repaired and in good working condition. Well it was not. I spent several days trying everything imaginable trying to get this item to work. Now I am out the cost of shipping item to and from OverStock's facilities.

I ordered an ipod Radio remote from these guys, and like other people who rated things here, the condition was listed as, New/Open box. When i received it, the box was open, but as much as expected. However, the remote didn't work properly - the connection to one ear was loose. It is ridiculous that they don't replace them, and they don't even check to see if the products work. I am returning it and will never consider shopping here again.

This company is a scam! They sold me a defective Xbox 360 system. The hard drive did not work, the controller had a malfunctioning button, and then I got the dreaded "3 ring" red light error and the system stopped functioning completely. I tried to contact them through email and phone, but I get voicemail, auto-response emails, but no live person... and no resolution or refund. I got an RMA in the correct time period, and shipped it back, but no refund and they will not respond or contact me. I have submitted a fraud complaint to my bank, the BBB, and the Tennessee Attorney General's Office. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER!!! HORRIBLE!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a product that was described as "NEW/OPEN BOX". This item was not new, the box was torn in pieces, the item was damaged and it was missing the AC adapter, Antenna and Cables. Their solution to problem (which is due to their ERROR) was for me to return the Item at MY EXPENSE to MAYBE get a refund of the purchase price not including shipping. It is amazing how their incompetence and poor business practices will cost me money. AGAIN DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I will be proceeding with a chargeback from my Credit Card Company!

I hope that this review stops 1 person from buying from this company! Do NOT buy from OverStock Dealz or any Consumer Depot company! They are very shady. They told me the speaker system I was purchasing was new/open box. When I received, the equipment had obviously been used. The box was smashed up and it was missing speaker covers and wires, manual and registration card. Most importantly, the speakers were not working properly.

Ordered a new repacked Uniden telephone. Item was not as stated new, it was more like junk repacked. Sent 5 emails and called 4 times no response. Would not buy anything from these scammers again. The worst on the web. For honest description and excellent service use techforless.com. I bought from them several times and any problem was taken care of immediately at their expense. This bunch of whatever are just rip off artists.

they sent me an MICROSOFT Xbox 360 USB Wireless Adapter that doesnt work and i sent it back and from that day i havent received a clear answer this guys are a fraud will make complaint.

They sent me defective speakers. No sounds comes out of the speakers at all. These are open box, refurbished but I expected them to work. Cust. service tells me that I have to pay for shipping both ways. So, I'm either stuck with $10 speakers that don't work or I'm out $20 in shipping charges. They won't budge on this. I will never purchase from them again and I recommend that everyone else avoid this reseller. They will send defective merchandise and stick you with the costs of returning so that it's cheaper for you to just throw the product in the trash and accept that you're out the purchase price and original shipping.
