Tried to purchase a Razor Scream Machine from them on 12/9/02. I placed my order successfully and received my confirmation.
After a week of hearing nothing, I checked back in with them. My order was still being 'processed' with an expected deliever between 12/19 and 12/24. I was told that an e-mail was sent to me saying that the item was backordered. I never received the e-mail, but that was okay because the item was no longer backordered.
On 12/19, the order was still being 'processed', so I sent another e-mail asking where my order was, and when could I expect the item to ship.
On 12/20 I received an automatic e-mail from them stating that they could no longer guarantee arrival of the item by 12/24. 11 days to tell me that the item is out of stock.
So you would think that they would pull the item from the website, right? As of today, the item is still listed as being available and can still be received by Christmas. What a crock!
I won't be buying anything else from Walmart.com or Walmart ever again.
Update: While checking on getting some numbers for this review, I went back to the Walmart website to discover that by miracle of miracles, my order had shipped. This after I had told them to cancel the order this morning. They upgraded the shipping to Airborne Express, so we'll see if it gets here in time.

After going all weekend with the tracking number showing up as invalid, the package was at my door last night. They ended up delivering as promised. However, I couldn't take that chance. I happened to find one at a local department store on Sunday. So now I guess I'll get to check out Walmart's return policy. I guess the lack of communication was my greatest complaint. If they had just kept me informed, a lot of the problems that occurred could have been avoided.
