I want to point out that Walmart does not post product reviews from buyers if they are negative. I was asked in e-mail to provide a review on the "massage" chair that I bought and submitted a 3 out 5 rating review where I pointed that the chair was just a vibrator, not massage. The review has never appeared on the web site, however, there are many 4- and 5-star reviews for the product. What a dishonest way to cheat customers!

I have ordered online with Walmart at least a half dozen times. The item always arrives when stated and if I decided to return it for any reason, I just take it to the store...no mailing to be hassled with.

Bought Transformers blu-ray big screen edition online and did site to store. had to wait a few days before it got to the store. went to store and saw sign for site to store pointing to customer service desk. lady said i had to go all the way back to the store to pick it up. (walmart loves to send ppl all over the store to get things for marketing reasons....) go to the area but no one was there. pressed on a pad to notify clerk and i waited a good 10 mins. the manager of the store actually ended up assisting me. (his photo was on the wall with all the employees of the month) got the package. just bubble mailer... at least i ended up getting what i ordered!

I used Walmart's gift registry to order baby shower gifts for a young couple I know. It was very convenient, but the ordering program needs a little work as my first attempt didn't take. I ordered two items that were online specials. It turned out they shipped from different locations so the recipients got them separately. One item was delivered promptly, the other took over a week longer. Both seem to have been delivered in good condition.

This is my 2nd order from Walmart.com using the free shipping option "Site-to-Store". I like this option because I can pick it up when I want (after getting the email that it's ready for pick up). I don't have to make sure I'm home to get it, sign for it, or just have it just left by the door for anyone to steal. The down side is shipping can sometimes be a little slower. If I was in a really big hurry I might choose another option. But I'm used to ordering items with 7-10 day shipping so it's not a big deal for me.  
 
When I went to pick up my item, I had to wait a short time for someone to process & get the order from the back but not enough to get upset over. The associate helped me get a heavy item into my car which I really appreciated.  
 
The best thing is you can get some really great deals on end of season stuff that's no longer in the store & don't have to pay hefty shipping charges.

I decided on the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx for my handheld GPS, they had the best price, and had it at my door within 4 business days.  
 
If unsatisfied I can return it hassle-free and sans-shipping costs since my local store is just over a mile down the road.  
 
My only complaint, was the packing / shipping box was a bit larger and light on filler so the product was able to shift quite a bit - luckily the retail box was sturdy enough to take abuse.

I purchased a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP with 2 lenses. Fast shipping and a great camera!  
My second online order from them, no problems with either one. Very Happy!

I placed an online order (Site-to-Store shipping, which was the only available option, red flag #1) for an iPod Touch, only reason I ordered online, it was like $10 cheaper than the store itself and came with a free accessory kit. When ordered, it said 7-10 days shipping. I was semi-ok with that, I mean I got some free stuff, right? So I ordered it. 3 days later, my accessory kit comes in, shipped by FedEx. Today is now the 23rd, and I'm still sitting here without my ipod. The thing about Walmart and Walmart.com, is it's 2 different companies, they cannot let you take stock from the store, you have to wait on YOUR product to come in. Also, after you order, they give you an estimation of roughly 16 days from your date of order. 7-10 days my butt!! My ipod's status has said "In Transit to Store" from a location about an hour and a half away since yesterday at 7:34am. Trying to call the store and getting someone to look for it is like pulling teeth, all they ask is if you "got an e-mail". If you can afford to wait and wade through red tape, go ahead and order from them, but if you're like me and most others, and want something faster than what you can get it from Hong Kong, STAY AWAY!!!

I don't usually enjoy shopping at Wal*Mart. HOWEVER, this time was different, hence the reason to write a review. I went to Wal*Mart after work today to pick up a few essentials for the house and a DVD. I wanted "Body of Lies" on DVD. Great movie if you haven't seen it. Anyhow, when I got their it said that it was 14.88. So I went to the register and the cashier tells me its 16.86. I mentioned that it said on the shelf 14.88. Without a questions she appologized for the mix up and gave it to me for the price of 14.88. I left happy!

On December 30th I ordered a childrens bed set and a sofa sleeper from the .com site. I went with site to store to save on shipping, so I figured it would take awhile. Suprisingly, carton 1 of the bed set arrived early at the store, when I went to the store to pick up the item, it was the wrong color. I then asked if they could just exchange it and reship the correct color. In a nutshell, the associates at the store advised me that they couldn't do anything about it other than refund my money. They did not have a contact number for the .com site and didn't know how to address the issue. The other problem was that even though this item is ordered as a set, they charge for each seperate carton. Thus, I only received 1/3 of my money. I immediately called the .com site when I returned home after navigating their voice menus forever. They did try to help out and had me reorder the item and then covered the expense of shippiong the items. This was done on January 3rd. Today I received my order and again it was the wrong color. This time, the .com site called me to tell me that they just found out that the wrong color shipped again and it was a problem with UPC's at the fullfilment center. They would call and have UPS pick everything back up and refund my money. I asked why they couldn't just ship the correct color and was told that due to the UPC problem, they could not do it. If I wanted to wait 2 weeks, I would be able to re-order it online and it would be correct. The sad thing is, they have not removed it from their site or suspended the item pending correcting the problem. I could order it right now and recieve the wrong color again. They offered a $50 gift card for my troubles if I wanted to keep it. Problem is, they have over $1000 of my money between 2 beds and a couch. I will have to wait on a credit for this most recent order and then I have to wait for the initial order to reach the store before I can request a credit on it that I'll have to wait for again. In all honesty, they could keep the stupid $50 and just ship me the correct color and I would have been fine.

This is the first time Ihave used WalMart SiteToStore. You order on their web site and the item is shipped to the store you select for pickup. No shipping charges. Shipping was fast. If you have a problem, you can return the item to your local store.

I ordered some jackets from Walmart.com on Black Friday, and amazingly, I got an email saying that it shipped the same day. I received them a week and a half later (via UPS Ground). The items are a great deal for the price. If I ever wanted to save on shipping (which is only a mere $0.97), I can always choose Site-to-Store and just pick it up at my local Wal-Mart.

Two recent orders from WalMart - both delivered on time and in good condition. One was a Garmin nuvi which had very out-of-date maps and locations - I was able to return it to my local store with very little trouble and got all my money back except 97 cents shipping.

We bought a Blu ray DVD player on monday because it was on sale. Yesterday I found the same DVD player in their ad, so today we took our receipt to the service desk. They tell us that they don't give refunds on Black Friday Ads, and even if we returned it we could not buy back at the service counter but would have to get it from the shelves, which had no more.
