Never buy from this place!  
I placed my order over 2 months ago, and have called them multiple times (the people seem friendly) but every time i called i was on hold for over 15 minutes. Repeatedly, i was told my camera was on backorder and told when the next shipment should be in... but again it was on "back order". I sent 2 e-mails and no reply. I left the "manager" 2 voice mails with my problem along with my name and number so he could contact me back... NO reply. Now their site doesn't work and the last 2 times i called their "systems are down". Please save your time and money and do not order from this company! (i would pay $200 more to purchase a camera from a reliable site... i just wish i would have know this 2 months earlier).

I REALLY wish I had read the reviews of Ontimedigital(another name for this company)before I ordered a Kodak Easyshare camera.Of course the price was WAY lower than everyone else's. After the rep tried to sell me a $50.00 battery for $150.00 and I said no, he hung up on me. I have no idea of my sale is still good and because of all the awful reviews I have read I decided to play it safe and cancel my debit card. Now I have to notify all my online accounts and my automatic payroll with my new account number. I have once agian learned that if something sounds to good to be true, it isn't.

Worst experience with online merchant. They took the order, and then said it was out of stock. Over a month later, they now say they do not have this item anymore (but you can order it online). To make matters worse, they used my credit card to buy other stuff and ship to misc people. My credit card company stopped it. SCAM!!!! Stay away!!!!

These people are nothing more than con artists. Criminals.  
 
I ordered a camera - price too good to be true. I got an email saying I had to CALL and VERIFY my order. What? Nobody does that.  
 
After repeated attempts, dropped calls, and rude New Jersy guys on the phone, I confirmed my order. He tried to sell me more crap at very high prices. I declined, and he said I'd have the camer in 4-5 days. Great.  
 
The camera never came and after two weeks, I called, and they said it was on backorder. BS.  
 
I cancelled my order because of what I read on this forum. Someone even said that shortly after placing an order with these crooks, their card was charged in CHina or something.  
 
Now it happened to me. Somebody made three purchases of crappy 14K gold Dale Earnhardt Jr CHARM BRACELTS which they no doubt intend to turn around and seller to trailer trash on eBay.  
 
BOTTOM LINE:  
 
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THESE GUYS.

SCAM!!!! What a bunch of filthy liars and a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. They sent me an email stating they had to verify my information (there was no information to verify, it was correct). When I called they were very nice, he asked me my address and then attempted to UPSELL WAY OVERPRICED ACCESSORIES. When I told him I already had the accessories because this was an upgrade from a previous model, they immediately sent me an email stating “This item no longer available”. They are not in the business of selling cameras. They are in the business of BAIT & SWITCH. They are only interested in selling you REDICULOUSLY PRICED ACCESSORIES.

I was given the blessing of my wife to go ahead and order my fathers day gift. I have been wanting a Nikon D300 for a while and jumped at the oportunity. I thought that I had found a really great deal at "The Camera Professionals".com Their site was easy to navigate and informative. It also stated that the product was in stock with free shipping. I placed the order and gave all my personal info and credit card#. When I printed the order confirmation I started to get uncomfortable. There wasn't any company logo or information on the reciept. I thought that this was strange. Then I get an email from the company:

So I immediately call and get placed on hold. I am transfered twice while trying to confirm my order. When they were finally able to pull up my order I was informed that I did not order a battery or charger. I questioned this because the last camera I bought (Nikon d100) came with both. He stated that "the reason the camera is at such a good price is that your getting the body only." I started to question him further when he abruptly informed me that the camera was out of stock. I said in that case I want to cancell my order. He rudely told me "Fine! We have not placed your order yet anyhow." Then he hung up on me. I immediately started researching thier company. A little too late I know. I found this site from a link in Dpreview.com. After reading a few of the reviews I called my credit card company and changed my card number.  
Save yourself some time and grief and don't order anything from them!!!

Very misleading and SORRY company. I ordered a Fugi S700 camera and in the ad it says that everything they sell has a FULL USA warranty. WRONG!! The camera came in an open plain box, no warranty card, no lens cover. I tried to register the camera with Fugi, guess Fugi didn't get the memo from thecameraprofessionals about Full Warrany and they said it could not be registered as it was made overseas, in my case, Indonesia. I have tried and tried to call their 800 number to get an RA number from them but to no avail. You are put on hold and no one EVER comes back to answer the call. Oh, I did cancel my order online within 15 minutes of placing it and after reading the fine print you CAN'T cancel online and well calling is not an option as you never talk to a real live person. Oh well, they fooled me once, but this is the very LAST penny they will get from me. It is best to spend the few extra dollars and buy from a reputable and upstanding company. I learned my lesson well.

Their website said the item was in stock. I ordered and then found out it was on backorder. I was told it would be in in a few days, 21 days later still no update from The Camera Professionals. I called today to cancel my order, I was transferred three times and on hold for 5 minutes, when I finally spoke to someone he was very rude!

After hearing that my product from Razzphoto was out of stock I decided to order from this website. I placed an order on Nikon package and was asked to contact company within 2 days to confirm billing address. I called within the time period and was immediately transfered from one rude customer rep to another. Several days later I called to get a tracking number but was told by the rep that the item I ordered was no longer available for sale so they had to cancel my order. Just like with the incident with RazzPhoto, I called them and randomly placed the similar order that I wanted to different reps. They told me that they were available but would not sell it to me unless I buy the top, expensive package. So basically they lied to me about my first order. I finally did some research about RazzPhoto and the like companies that I feared that maybe they would misuse my CC info. I immediately contacted my CC company and cancelled the card that I used for the transaction. Dont trust this company!

Yeah, my complaint is basically almost identical to most consumers here. I saw a Nikon D40x for $229 on their website. First thing comes to my mind was price quote error. So I called to verify the price. The lady picked up the phone and transfer me to another department. Some guy answered by saying "how can I help you". I said I have a question about the Nikon D40x on the website... Before I can finish my sentence, he hang up the phone without saying another word. I have waited about 10 mintues for someone to pick up the phone. I'm not going to call them back and wait another 10 minutes, not worth my time.  
 
For the ones that canceled their order, check your credit card and make sure they did not charge your card. Remember, www.thecameraprofessionals.com are a bunch of scammers and crooks.  
 
I would avoid www.thecameraprofessionals.com like a plaque.

This is one of the worst and horrible on-line scam company ever. Beware people.  
I ordered the Garmin nuvi 660 for they advertised low priced than any others, then they wanted me to call for the order confirmation so I called and they try to sell the case and I said i do not need it and they tried to sell if I want 2007 map or 2008 map and I told them I can download it from the Garmin's web page so I don't need 2008 map. Next, couple of days later, received the order confirmation letter from them then I waited 11 days without receing any shipment from them. So I called them to find out why I don't get the shipment yet, but they kept transfering the phone and put me on hold for 30 minutes , then finally a lady asked me the order number after I gave her an order number, she said it is in back order and asked me if i want to cancel the order, then I knew this is the scam that they either do not have it in the stock or do not want to sell it to the advertised price. One time in couple of years ago, I also had the camera purcahsed and they asked me if I want to buy the extra battery and I agreed to buy it ,but the battery pack I receive never worked and I did not compalin them for did not want to waste time on phone holding time. Be very careful and I'd never purchase from this shop ever again!!!

I ordered a camera from this company and got the email to call or else my order will be delayed.  
 
I called and they tried to sell me a card to go with the camera and I declined. They hung up and the next day my order was at the house. They sent the order days before I "authorized" the transaction by calling them.  
 
I got the camera and it was scratched along the casing in a few places. I called the "customer service" line (waited on hold a good 10 minute or so and they told me that I would not be charged the restocking fee but I am responsible for the shipping charges.  
 
I asked them "you sold me a camera that is not what you said it was, I want to return it and you are making me pay for the shipping?" She replied "The customer is required to pay shipping" and would not budge. She gave me an authorization number for the return pretty quickly when I asked to return the camera though.  
 
God knows when I will see the credit to my card since I have yet to see the charge but I will send the camera back and am going to be out 20 dollars for the experience.

Same complaint as the other people. Tried to sell me the upgrade package, I refused. After a few days I called and was notified my item was on backorder, unknown ETA. Very rude people. canceled my order.

I ordered a GPS from ubuydigital.com and a week later still heard nothing so I called to find out where my order was. They said I needed to confirm it. I said I never got an email on that. After 30 minutes and being transferred to 5 people I eventually got back to person number 1 who immediately transferred me again. When I tried to explain I was on hold for 30 minutes I was immediately put on hold mid sentence. After doing a google on ubuydigital.com sucks I found this site and immediately cancelled my credit card as soon as I started to read the horrors out here. I was unable to confirm or cancel the order and nobody answered any of my 5 emails I sent to every address listed on that site. What a nightmare.

I placed an order with these losers on 12/9/07. After the order was placed,I received an E-Mail asking me to call & comfirm my order.Earlier in the day,I tried ordering a camera through Techondigital.com & was caught in the same call back & hard-sell scam. After posting a negative rating for Techondigital,I received a call from them promising to overnight me a camera at the advertised price & a free battery pack, if I modified my ratings about them.When I told this person that I purchased the item through the Camera Prof's,he said "They will not send you a camera either".It appears that all these storefront camera dump operations in Brooklyn,NY share the same scam.I told Jack at the Camera Prof's that I had the extra memory & batteries for the camera that I ordered.Jack sent me an E-Mail comfirming my order on 12/9.On 12/10,my credit card was charged $241.97. Since I had not received a tracking number,I called back on 12/13 & was told that it was back-ordered until monday or tuesday. On 12/18, I called again & they said a tracking number would be sent to me before the end of the day. The next day, still no tracking number. Called again & was told that the camera was back-ordered. My wife called earlier in the day & Charles said that the camera was in stock. After Kathy provided me with a refund number on 12/19, they never credited my credit card. Filed a dispute on 12/24 with the CC company & cancelled my CC. Small wonder why the worst sellers are in close proximity to one another.
