I ordered a Canon 40D kit with the 17-85 IS Lens. Joel was VERY helpful in answering my questions. I got an unbelievable price which made me wonder if this was all 'too good to be true'. Joel assured me all products were new USA Canon product and they just price things better than the competition! The camera arrived on time and I am very pleased as everything was exactly as represented. Joel was not pushy with suggesting add-ons though I did by a UV filter for $25 and an extra battery for $20. Turns out those were all genuine Canon accessories too! Bonus! Imaging World will be my first stop when I am buying some L glass I have my eye on. I know I found a shop I can trust and I will be back for more!

Purchased 40D with EF-s 17-85 IS lens. I was concerned because I wanted to order the camera the day they were supposed to close for a week. As promised, they shipped the camera and it was delivered in a timely manner. I'm looking forward to future transactions from them as they were very professional and sell a high quality product.

Ordered a 40D from The imaging world when no one else had them in stock. They are very friendly! Received my camera 2 days later! Amazing Service.
Thanks again!

They were the best price I could find. I was skeptical to order from theimagingworld. I ordered a Canon 100-400 $,5-5,6 L IS USM. They called to confirm the order and there was no hard sell. The lens was here in a week.

They were the best price I could find from a reputable store. It was a limited reputation of four entries at Resellerratings but, I was also unable to find any bad news in a general search and a search of some forums. It seems to have been a good call.
There was no hassle about accepting a USPS money order with which I overpaid. I received an email to call and tell them how I wanted to proceed with handling the overpayment. My purchase, a Nikon 55-200vr lense, arrived in about the time I would have expected it should. The product came with the US warranty, was complete and basically, as advertised. I am very satisfied.

I was also skeptical to order from theimagingworld as i had never heard of them. As an experienced buyer who normally sticks to main shops such as B&H, i was apprehensive at first, but they showed 1D MKIII's in stock when no one else had them. I called them, and got very helpful and attentive service. They said the cameras would come in the next day and they could ship them as soon as they unpacked them. I went ahead and ordered, and sure enough they sent it out overnight right on time and i got it the next day. Suprisingly great service, I would certainly buy from them again!

I was a bit skeptical about shopping with this merchant as I had never heard of them before. However, I placed an order for a Canon 24-70 2.8 Lens as they had the best price online. When I called to inquire about the lens, the salesperson was very pleasant and answered all my questions. My order was shipped right away and delivered within 2 days. The order was exactly what it was advertized on their website. I would not hesitate to shop with them again in the future. This review was modified by its author, Dajemak, on

I placed and order on the web for a Canon Speedlite EX 580 II after seeing that they had the lowest price according to a price search engine. Delivery was supposed to be 3-5 business days. Three days later, I call to check on the status; they tell me it will not get shipped out until 5/29/2007, because of intervening holidays. That is one whole week from the day the order was placed. Also, I would not likely receive it before 6/1/2007. I was told that they had this information on their web site. Well, I am not doubting that they had it there, but I did not notice it, and I'm quite alert about these things. Eventually, I called them to cancel the order, but reached them after my phone call when to voice mail 5 times. In the future, I think I'll stick to places I know. I've bought most of my Nikon gear from The Imaging World, as they're an authorized Nikon dealer. You only get the manufacturer's warranties through an authorized dealer, especially the free 4-yr extension on the lenses if you register them. They also offer factory extended warranties on the camera bodies, not aftermarket ones. There have been a couple of situations where the customer service was beyond the call, and I greatly appreciated it. The service has been first-rate every time. Highly recommended!
