I received my order with this tuch screen r/c watch for my kid, the product didnt worked at all, after talking to DX i received an email which i was amazed by the answer, i received a new watch, im very satisfied with that kind of service.

This company offers some of the best valued products. Their prices and product selection are excellent, normal shipping is free worldwide.
Since it is based in Hong Kong, it take some weeks before your order arrives. In the US, it takes from two weeks to a month to receive the order, so plan ahead.
There are two things they could improve on, one is the stock status, it's not the most accurate in the world; two, their customer service can take a few days after you put in a request, so be patient. They do work at it, and in the end you will be a satisfied customer. But you definitely need to have patience.
I recently had a defective item, and they resolved it very quickly.
One last thing, they have a great lively forum, uncensored as far as business/customer issues are concerned. That should give anyone confidence in buying from them. This review was modified by its author, dudly, on

They have some pretty good prices and a huge variety of products. I often find things that are impossible to find locally or are way cheaper than any store I know of. I mainly buy small electronics and tools, and, even with the exchange rate and shipping (shipping is included in the price), they're usually at least half the local price, for what I can find locally.
Granted, they're not always the fastest for shipping or to answer service tickets (they don't use emails, but instead an internal system to communicate with the csr's. It has, at least, the advantage of avoiding the lost emails...), but they give a great service, none the less. When there's a problem, they do their best to find an acceptable solution.
There is also the forum where one can read reviews and comments on the products, get help from other customers, and so on.
Their politics, warranties, RMA procedures are clearly stated, and if you have a doubt, just ask in the forums: someone will answer you, usually within a few hours.
In the last months, the service has became slow, averaging 96h for ticket's response, instead of the usual 48h (with a target of 24h); still, you'll get an answer. They are apparently training more personal, so it should get back to normal. Answer time and shipping time can be slow, but can also be amazingly fast, I've seen both (ordered sunday evening, local time, and shipped thursday afternoon, as well as waiting 3 months for something they had shortage of); I guess these are growing pains due to their popularity. If you need something for yesterday, you're better get it locally.
All in all, I'll continue shopping there. Their prices and variety often make the difference between thinking if one can afford to buy something and actually buying it and still have money left. Being able to read other's experiences and ask questions about the products is invaluable. If you take the time to read and ask questions, you'll avoid buying things that may deceive you later on.
That's what makes me buy there: prices, service, choice and forums.

Siempre he comprado en DealExtreme y no habia tenido problema con sus envios, hasta hace poco que solo me llego 1 de 2 productos que oredene, me contacte con ellos y rapidamente me despacharon el producto faltante. Excelente servicio post-compra. Excelente Soporte. Gracias DX!!

I learned about DealExtreme from colleagues at work (which have very good experience with DX).
I have made since, several purchases and I am very happy with the service.
Everything arrive on time with good enough packaging.
I started as well to tell my friends about it.
Really good site to deal with.

I have only placed this one order, but they did not have it in stock and repeatedly told me it was coming soon - it never did. They then tried to get me to purchase other items but did provide a refund when pushed. This whole process took 2 months however - not pleased.

I have ordered items from DX on several occasions.
1st time:
A set of keychain LED lights, which are excellent, and a sushi-shaped USB flash drive. The sushi drive stank like petroleum and I had to throw it away. They did not allow a refund without a return.
2nd time:
Bought a Solar Power Self-Recharged Flashlight Keychain. It was defective, so they sent a replacement.
3rd time:
Bought a 4-in-1 stylus pen. It is excellent.
4th time:
Bought a White 48-LED Light Bulb 120 VAC. It works great. It is about as bright as a 25-watt bulb but uses maybe 1 watt. It lasted only a couple months but they replaced it.
5th time:
Bought TV remote, works OK on old TVs, not new. Bought more White 48-LED Light Bulbs. They all work.
6th time:
Bought $3 stylus+pen+light. The pen has no ink. The construction of the pen is very poor, nowhere as good as the $4 pen I bought before. They eventually replaced it and the new one was/is excellent.
7th time:
Bought two more 48-LED light bulbs. Both failed after a couple months but DX replaced them.
8th time:
Bought a Skype USB handset. It works, but as people have mentioned in reviews the sound quality is poor.
10th time:
Bought a 46mm macro lens from them. It works great.
11th time:
Bought 46mm polarizer and 46mm UV filter. They seem to work fine.
12th time:
Bought a $1 microsd/USB adapter to replace one I bought earlier that broke.

I was very satisfied with this Merchant's quick, reliable and very comfortable customer service !
Actually, I am living in US and this merchant is
located at Hong Kong so a little bit worried about customer support and RMA at the beginning.
However, their support was very quick, excellent and very comfortable. I just reported about the defective units, got their direction to follow since this was the first time return after so many orders and I just mailed to somewhere in US. Consequently, I could get a full credit plus postage from them just next day !!
This was really outrageous support ! I should say they were very responsive, very clear and nicer than US merchant in a sense.
I feel very grateful and comfortable by their
support. Will continue business as like I have been doing until now.

Already I bought many times in the DealExtreme, and always well I was taken care of.
But a time one of the products came with defect, but the Deal quickly sent another one for me.
All the products are of excellent quality, and the attendance is always intent our requests.
Highly I recommend the Deal Extreme to all!

Great store! I had my first order from them. After I order, I saw some alternative, which is cheaper, I use the online system to change me order. It was accepted and changed was made quickly, and no question ask.
Unfortunately, one of the item went out of stock, but they still ship other items that are in stock, yes they ship partially without any additional charges. I had received them in good packing and a note telling me there are still an item not ship due to availability.
I had then changed the out of stock item to another item (which is in stock), and again the reply and change was lightning fast, the next day my last item was on my way.
Oh, did I mention they offer lowest price? And also allow you to contact them if you find lower price then them.
A++++ Reseller that you can trust! Will order more from them.

Don't buy from this company. they will never answer your emails. the only reason they only accept paypal is because paypal is a scumbag. I purchased 2 cigarete lighters, one work fine the other one is broken. try to get a refund but no answer, so i file a paypal complain. guess what, paypal sucks, they close my case immediately for no reason. wtf. don't waste your time, there are better places out there.

I have used DealExtreme for a year now and have placed more than a dozen orders. I am completely satisfied with them.
I have had only one problem with a product, a laserpointer, that was solved quite easily by sending me a replacement unit.
The quality of the products is better than you would expect, given the prices. The Customer Service is excellent!

I got the wrong item;
I submitted a complain with photos. After couple days, i got an email specifying that they gave that wrong item as a gift. The correct one will submit to me again.it's not expensive price but it's make me feels good with their respond. Thanks you.
