Free shipping, great deals. Excellent selection. Shipping does take a week or two, though, so make sure you aren't in critical need of what you are ordering.
Do NOT ask to send the items via EMS express mail. It took more than two weeks extra to even send the package. First they put the order on hold without letting me know. I had to ask what's going on. After a week the answer was that the EMS is not supported in my country and they want to know if they can to send it via regular mail. But I had to ask first via a support ticket!!!
So I answered that it's funny because I can see the EMS everywhere here but asked them to send the package asap. - doesn't matter how.
Another week nothing more happened, so I asked again to send it asap. No answer to the support ticket yet. But today, 15 days after I placed the order, I got another e-mail with additional $17 fee to send the package via EMS...
Don't remember exactly what was the original price for EMS, I guess $20. So I payed $37 extra to get my package more than two weeks LATER than via regular free shipping!!! :-(
UPDATE: I have received another e-mail that my order was put on hold to get extra payment to send my package via EMS to my country. AFTER 15 days I placed the order, AFTER I already sent additional $17 and AFTER all the discussion described above. Will I even get my stuff some day? :-/

My general experience is that dealextreme offers really low priced products, of intermediate quality. Do not expect high qulity stuff. Their service is excellent though: I recieved a defect order this august, and filed a complain to dealextreme. They immediately shipped a new item, which I recieved. This one actually does work. After all I'm really content with this service.
I've ordered twice from dealextreme, and was satisfied both times. The last time, I ordered 2 items on 9/8. Items were shipped 9/9 and I received them on 9/17 and 9/19. So shipping was slow but I expected them to be slow since they are from Hong Kong. I also ordered a wrong item once, and cancelled my order. I received the refund pretty quickly, within 2 or 3 days. Items received were as expected and I'm fully satisfied with this company. Will order from again!
The worst online retail experience I have ever had. I ordered one of those neat radioactive keychains back in March. After waiting an entire month to receive the item, I received the wrong item. Then, It took about two weeks for customer service to work out returning the item. Months went by and I didn't hear a thing. Then on 9/15, I randomly got an email from them saying they shipped something to me. Seriously guys, almost 6 months to send me a keychain? I had originally chalked it up as a loss of 40 bucks, but maybe they'll make it right. I'll update you in another month when I finally receive whatever they shipped me. I still cannot recommend purchasing anything from this online retailer, the experience has been awful.

I placed this order, which stayed in processing for over 8 days. I sent an email on the status of my order (supposedly response time 24-48 hours) but it took several days before I even got a response stating the order was shipped. Nay, incomplete! Upon checking website only one item was shipped while others were still waiting on supplier. I requested more info since items were supposed to be stocked but still no response on that email. I sinced ordered products elsewhere and requested cancellation on the 15th but now site says packing. I no longer want this and they have extremely slow customer response. They were quick to take my money.... I think I have to go to Paypal for resolution....

Was happily purchasing items with my boyfriend's account for last 2 years (to combine shipping even though its free shipping) and decided to order a single mini mouse for my laptop as the one he got for me a few months ago had crapped out, separately as he didn't need anything else at the time on Aug 18. It was cute and cheap - Order shipped Aug 26, arrived just over a week ago.. defective. They emailed me back 9 days later, with apologies regarding the delay (9 days is slightly over thier 48hr policy) and politely informing me they'll send me a replacement with freebies, and will let me know when they send it out. I declined the freebies (nice, but I just want a functional mouse!) I just hope the next one will work. Will continue to pop updates up on here... stay tuned!
September 28, 2009 update:
Receieved a replacement working (yeah!) mouse today, plus 2 freebies - a card reader and a piggy flashlight, which I think I'll be giving away. Hoping the service I received reflected more so thier practises rather than b/c of seller ratings on this page. If you're not too particular about service turnaround time, and don't mind waiting for your items, then shop here.

I have ordered five times from Dealextreme, and they have arrived relative soon. The products are good quality, and cheap. I think I will order from here another time, too.
I'm extremely satisfied with the order I did at DealExtreme. I've bought a iPhone FM receiver + wireless mouse, once they haven't had a mouse in stock, they sent me days after, although, for some reason, I didn't received, after wait for the days limit, they sent me a new one, which I've been using.
This attitude shows how trustful DealExtreme deals with Its customers.

DealExtreme has always been an immediate choice for buying or browsing for things to buy online. Their prices are unbelievably low, yet service is efficient and pleasant. However larger orders/shipments tend to take a much longer time than they approximate. An order of 8-10 items took 6 weeks to arrive. However with free shipping there's little to moan about. Even when requesting for a replacement they handled the matter professionally. They didn't jump into agreeing for a replacement immediately but that's understandable as they are profit-driven and probably are looking out for possible scams i.e requesting for replacement even though the unit is functioning.
Overall buying from DealExtreme hasn't been a bad choice, its an excellent choice. Wide range of items to buy, free shipping, all at low low prices. Greatly recommended!
