Ordered torch, batteries, charger, mounting brackets and mouse "feet" from the site. Delivery very swift arriving in the UK within 4 days. Found 1 item missing when I opened the package. Basically, ordered 2 x two pack of batteries and recieved 1 x two pack. A simple packing error, quickly and politely rectified after a few emails. The missing items are on the way. I've already placed a second order on the strength of the goods and service received and would be happy to do so again.

- The return fee has been credited to my account  
- A new replacement item has been shipped to me.

Shipping time was not longer than I expected (I've ordered from Hong Kong before). Price was 1/3 of what I could find in US stores. Very pleased and will patronize these guys again.

Hi everybody, I recently pass an order with dealextreme. I have to say that it's not the first time I order from this site and everytime I receive a very very bad, slow and poor services. I ask for a refund one time because my order was 2 week pending for dstt card who was in stock and once I ask for the refund I receive fast reply asking me to keep the order and the product will be ship today. So why they make me waiting if they can ship it today.... For my new order I double check to be sure all my item was in stock in fact it say : In stock 1 to 3 day to ship but this is just a lie because it's been a week it's pending waiting for supplier. This is still a great site because they offer nice stuff at very low price but if you need it fast forget it. If you are a reseller FORGET IT. I will surely continue to order from this site but I will try to guess the delay. I will write bad review each time I will receive bad service and write good review if I receive good service. For an alternative go see Focalprice or Kaidomain.  
 
Since this review Dealextreme contact me to upgrade my order to Express and give me a little gift for the trouble. They also apologize so I think those seller try to give the best service despite the trouble to have all those item in their own warehouse.

I ordered some items from DealExtreme and everything was satisfactory with the exception of the shipping time--it took roughly 3 weeks to receive it; shipping was free, however.

I have ordered 3 items on feb 2nd. I got 2 of them Feb 22nd (Mouse and LED accessory). other one is still processing. Mouse is stuck every time. So I open a ticket on Feb 22nd ( as soon as I got the order) Now 26th, Still I didn't get any reply from them. this is DOA. So they should replace or refund my money. At least they should reply for my ticket.  
There are customer service is horrible. If they refuse to reply me within 2 days I will open paypal dispute against them. I need to replacement soon.

Hi,  
 
On the 8th of January I ordered small camera accesories (cloth, tripod,...) for a total of $16,17. After contacting them at the end of January we had some discussions, then on he 28th of March I get a message that the package was returned to sender on 23-Feb-2009.  
 
There were no problems with the other orders I placed before (other than that they just left it in the hallway of our apartment building while I was at home, so they didn't even ring but those were untracked packages). Now Dealextreme wants me to pay the shipping fee.  
 
Here in Belgium, normally when a package must be delivered with a signature and you were not at home, the postman leaves you a notice in your mailbox. They try 2 more times (sometimes you can call them to tell them when you are home) until finding you and then they leave it at the post office near to your delivery address to let you come and pick it up.  
I received nothing for the returned package and my address is correct.  
 
I don't know about rules in Hong Kong but in Europe the seller is responsible for the shipping which means that the seller has to resend the package at no extra charge. If the Post service makes a mistake the seller has to contact them to get a refund.  
 
And even if I were to pay the fee, I have no guarantee that it will arrive the second time and then I would have to pay again.  
This would basically mean I would have to stop ordering from dealextreme because then it may LOOK cheap but in fact I pay a lot of money without receiving anything.  
 
I can not believe that according to Hong Kong law Dealextreme is not responsible for the shipping.  
 
If you can not live with the fact that Dealextreme can CLAIM that they have sent the package and that it was returned to sender and then ask you for a fee (while clearly you have done nothing wrong and are not responsible for their usage of a bad transportation company) I would sincerely recommend you to stay away from this webshop.  
 
EDIT! in response to Dealextreme:  
The package was not offered at my address, please be aware that there are 2 students on this address who are home most of the time. It would have been a huge coincidence no-one was at home three times in a row.  
Furthermore, here in Belgium a note is placed in the mailbox when the person was not at home. This was not the case.  
 
Anyway, the case has been resolved since Dealextreme agreed with paying for the shipping.  
This means that as soon as the package arrives, I will order new items from Dealextreme and keep on buying items from them.

As far as we know, for the registered package, the post office will deliver it for three times. If there no one at home to sign for it after the third time, it will be returned to sender.  
 
As the shipping address was confirmed correct, and we did ship the order to the exact address the customer provided, the shipping cost for the reshipment therefore need to be covered by customer, please kindly understand.  
 
We will keep following up on your issue and try to sort it out as soon as possible.

I purchased a MP3 Player and Card Reader from DealExtreme. The unit does not work as a MP3 player.  
 
Three e mails and a claim filed with PayPal led to NO response.  
 
They like our dollars, but do not respond to your concerns. PayPal is as useful as t___ on a bull. I DO NOT recommend using this firm.  
 
They responded rapidly to this review and told me that the unit wasn't an MP3 player. They included the below reference.

As this item is not produced or designed by DealExtreme, would you kindly refer to the review or our forum to check is there any other customer know what's the problem on it ?

I received my order, but found that one of the items was missing parts. I contacted DealExtreme (DX) and after a few exchanges, they notified me that they will be shipping me a replacement, and to find a use for the item that was missing things from it. Overall, the service has been awesome. It is through this transaction that I have found trust, reliability, and awesome customer service from DX. Best prices for awesome products. Thank you so much!

I'm very satisfied with dealextreme. They have a great customer service, there is no shipping cost and they have a lot of things at half the price or less compared to local store.  
Yes, you have to wait, but it's worth it. You can buy a lot of gifts for your friends, girl, and parents.
