I've bought from them a few times already. The price is excellent and shipping is free. Some items were not in stock and need special order, they may take a long time (longest one so far - 1 month, that is before it was shipped, which was another week).

First, I ordered a Fiio speaker from them, which was listed as shipping in 1-3 days. Watched the status change to Ready to ship and then suddenly Processing-Contact for status. Contacted them and got a reply ~ a week later (NOT 24-48 hr) that they have no idea when it will be in stock. Waited another month, then cancelled the order. Ordered different Fiio speaker on 9/23. Again, listed on the site as 1-3 days shipping. Again same story, ending with Processing-Contact for updates. Contacted, waited for a week, got no reply. Closed ticket and cancelled order on 10/6. No reply yet, 9 days later. Needless to say, will never deal with these people again.

I placed my order on September 30th. I patiently waited because I had heard about a holiday that they were on and took into consideration the fact that there would be added time to wait for my item but this is rediculous. It has been more than 2 weeks and still not even a tracking number? about 7 days ago my status showed that my item was in packaging so normally I got excited and assumed my item would be shipped soon. It has not. The status changed to "Processing - Contact us for updates" I sent a CSE ticket to them 4 days ago now. (I thought the response time was 24-48 hours) and still have not heard anything from them. It was a simple order 1 item that they claimed to have in-stock. I was recommended to them by a friend and was under the impression they were a reliable company but now I have my doubts. There items are cheap but I would recommend paying the little extra at some OTHER website to get your item in a timely fashion.
on a strange side-note. a separate order that I placed with them using paypal as apposed to without paypal has already been sent out... and THOSE items weren't even in stock when i ordered them. BUYERS BEWARE use Paypal's protection IF you are to deal with this shady seller. This is my first and LAST time dealing with Dealextreme.com. I ordered an item on July 2. They promptly received the funds via Paypal. This was my first order with them based on the ratings they received. At the end of August the order indicated it was still "processing". In Sept, when the order still showed the status of "processing", I requested a refund on Sept 19. The reply was that it would take 2 weeks since it was past 60 days. I did not receive a refund and submitted another Customer Service request for a refund on 10/8. I still have not heard back from them despite the fact that they advertise "48 hr response Mon-Fri". So I have no product, no refund and no response from DealExtreme. For me, the lure of their low prices is not worth the risk of just giving them money for nothing. If you look at their history, their ratings have steadily deteriorated and are at an all time low. I'm not sure why all these people are complaining about how long it takes to receive your order from dealextreme? It states that your order will take at least 3 weeks (21 days). I made several purchases over the past couple months for iPhone chargers and sure it took almost a month (sometimes over a month) but the product always arrived, was compatible with my 3gs, and 90% cheaper than Apple. That's right, 90% cheaper, under $3 instead of $30 +tax. For this svings totally worth the wait.

When I received my order I had a doubt about it. I contacted DealExtreme through their website and received am immediate response (considering the time difference). They asked some questions and cleared up my issues in a prompt and friendly manner. Although I tend to be hesitant purchasing anything from companies that reside out o the United States particularly because of problem resolution issues, I would feel very confident purchasing anything from them in the future.

I ORDER A WRONG ITEM AND DO NOT WORKS WITH MY CELL PHONE COMPANY BAND SO I SEND IT BACK AND THEY CHANGE IT FOR ONE THAT WORKS WITH MY CELL PHONE COMPANY. IT,S A VERY GOOD ITEM AND WORKS FINE LIKE

Placed an order on Sept 28. Still had not received an order confirmation or shipping confirmation after a week. I sent in emails (I couldn't log into my account either) asking for help in getting into my account AND to see the status of my order as I had no received an order # or confirmation email. No response after over a week. To date, I have received no correspondence from dealextreme other than the automated email I received when disputing the purchase with paypal. That was the first time I got an order #. Dispute left unanswered after a week of posting to paypal, now I'm submitting a claim. What a headache over a $5 purchase.

I have place the order on September 26 and now it is October 9. I have email and contacted the seller for update on my products and no response. On top of that, they do not provide any kind of communications on the status of your order.
They are difficult to communicate and does not provide a good customer service.
I tried to cancel my order but it says that i will get a refund 3 weeks later. What is up with that!!???? I cannot wait 3 weeks for refund. I need my products. Next time I will not order from this company.

I finally got a response from this company. But now my items are shipped separately. What's going on. One item got shipped and then the next item the following week????? I gotta say that this company does not know how to provide great customer service. The packaging is weak and I got my item broken. This is becoming a hassle. I will no longer order from this company. I have ordered a few times from dealextreme but probably not any more. I had to cancel part of my last order after it hadn't shipped a month after I ordered it. I'm about to cancel this order as well. The product I ordered was and still is listed as "In Stock", yet it has not been shipped. I ordered it on 9/28/09 almost 12 days ago. According to their web page, products will ship in "1-4" days, I don't think so. I have a couple open tickets that I'm waiting for a response on. They say 24-48 hour response time for opened tickets, yet it has been 3 days and I still haven't heard anything from them. I'm getting tired of this. i bought something off dealextreme after so many recommendations for the first time and its been two weeks all i see is waiting for supplier and after i bought the items one of them was available until, 2 days later its back ordered then out of stock will i be getting it in the same package? does it really take 2 weeks to get things from the supplier!! come on This review was modified by its author, , on

Order was shipped in two tranches
Products arrived regularly (via Airmail: another previous order via EMS is not completed now)
One piece did not work correctly, I opened a ticket and (after a normal investigation) now they are sending me the substitution for the piece.
Nothing to say for this order
In the future I will not order via EMS any more: it costs much more and the time requested to ship in Europe is symilar to the time requested via AirMail

Excellent and reliable service. For my last order (9 items), there was tiny problem with one item - it was back ordered for more than 15 days; but, as soon as I requested item change, support answered me positively, and as I can see now, my whole package is going to be here in my office very soon :)
Other previous orders were fine - items were as described (and in few cases even better than expected) and shippment was quick.
I will continue to shop at DealExtreme, and I recommend it to others.

This is a surprisingly good site that does what it is asked. Though my order was split despite every items saying "shipped" simultaneously, I got 1/3 of my order (so far) within a reasonable time frame, and I'm glad I bought from this company. I'm pretty sure that I'll return to this site when needed.
