I bought a bluetooth transmitter which did not work properly, so i contacted the company. They immediately replied, and they did not doubt my complains for a second. The whole process was really smooth, and they even let me get a different product with the same price. I did not get the new product yet, but so far I am very pleased with the service.

I bought items from DealExtreme many times and I'am very pleased for their prices and support. Altough once happened to a item be missing, they replaced it by a similar one. It's a great online store.

DX has great prices. My first time buying from DX was for ipod cases and they arrived in good condition. The only draw back is how long it takes to receive the item(s) but since the shipping is free and since I'm in no rush to get the product, I'm perfectly fine with it. My second purchase was for a watch, it wasn't working correctly so I contacted DX and they were really nice and solved the problem. From that experience it really feels like they want to make sure you're satisfied with your purchase. I'd definitely buy more things from DX in the future.

The first purchase made from this randomly discovered seller was surprisingly good.
Despite all of the positive reviews on ResellerRatings, I couldn't help but think the opposite based on the overall site look, the reviews per item (on their site), and the brands/types of items being sold.
But in the end, it turned out much better than expected, and the shipping was... free. Friggin sweet.
The site presents the quality (and quantity) of their wares in an unequivocal way (which is both good and bad), but there really is no reliable way to advertise excellent sales transactions and shipping except via word of mouth--and then taking the plunge.
The item I purchased was much better than others made it out to be, and works well.

I had order a Ipod touch 2G Hard Back Case from DX. Definately DX is having the cheapest and quality item, AND also good services. My package somehow lose somewhere during shipping. DX had replaced a new one for me immediately. A+++++ for DX~!!! Besides, DX also provide exchange services!

I ordered 2 times at DX and it came out well, on second ocasion it happened, that item, which was received stopped working after 10 days of usage, so I contacted them via their ticket system. It was not as fast as I wanted to get a response from them, but I did get it, and now I am waiting for a replacment. I am satisfied with them and they really shock you with prices. Long live DX !

** A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE **
Before I bought anything from DealExtreme, I was a bit hesitating. The prices were sometimes REALLY cheap (a bit too cheap actually), and I found a lot of fake stuff too (iFone for example), next to that it's Chinese (hey, nothing against China but you never know...)
But after a few minutes of searching with Google for personal experiences, I found out that DealExtreme is nothing to be afraid of; and the rating/comments system on the product pages is really good too: you immediately get an honest idea of the pros and cons of the products from real buyers, sometimes with pictures or videos.
So I bought a couple of items, and all was good. The products arrived and worked as expected. The build quality of some items wasn't too great, but I didn't really expect that either and from some products, I already knew they weren't that robust, because I had read the user comments and ratings. But over-all I really can't complain. You get what you pay for, in other words.
I did have a problem with one item: what was advertised as a USB 2.0 hub, was in fact a USB 1.0 one; so not the speed I paid for. When I went back to the product page, however, I noticed that in the discussions below the product (forgot to read them), other people had experienced the same problem. So I contacted DealExtreme about this, and like the other buyers, I immediately got the credit for that item back.
I made my second order last week and chose an item of approximately the same value of the USB hub to be added to my order for free. It's on the way at the moment of typing this.
** IN GENERAL **
DealExtreme offers cheap products with medium quality, free international shipping is always a pro. The website is well-built but in the last month, it was sometimes slow or completely down. The customer service is (very!) fast, friendly and good. I really can't complain.
On a sidenote, I would like to mention that the people of DealExtreme aren't native English speakers (ah well, I'm not a native English speaker myself but I'm fairly good at it), so I had to read some sentences from their emails two or three times before I could completely grasp what they wanted to say.

I've ordered from DX before, and I am finally pleased to say that the Items I am ordering for my customers are arriving in 5 working days or less. I've shopped around, and DX have the lowest price for the best quality items. I have had issues in the past with items being out of stock, and DX has always offered to replace or refund them which is a plus point, but the website isn't always up to date with stock amounts. This order I placed was very efficient, in stock and fast with the delivery.

Although some items have a lower build quality, the prices cannot be beat. I have only had one defective item and it was replaced by friendly customer service staff.

I ordered a dozen Cree flashlights on 5/22 and they arrived on 6/3. I found that one of the lot did not work. After contacting the customer service, they promised to send me a free replacement. Great service. I shall continue to shop and recommend this company to others.

DealExtreme is either hit or miss. Ive ordered stuff from them on 3 occasions and the first two were around the same time came fine with no problems. however, recently (June 8th 2009) i made a purchase which i was charged $25.17 and have not even received an email letting me know when the package will be shipped. DealExtreme made sure to send me a receipt of my transaction and i was given a transaction id: 3T551779PW6895132 but that is it. They did not give me an order number or any information to track the package so I am unable to locate it. My papal account says that on June 8th 2009 DealExtreme charged me the correct amount and gives me sales@dealextreme.com as the address to contact them. After sending 3 emails (about 1 week apart for each) There is no response. I advise people from making purchases from this site. IT is not always worth it to get it cheaper if the package might not come. For absolute certainty that the package will come order somewhere else.

I have ordered a very tiny MicroSD reader, 4 laser/LED flashlight combo pointers, and 12 Fine-Tech gel ink pens. All arrived in about 2 weeks (which is very good for something from Hong Kong to the Netherlands), in perfect condition, even though the cardboard pen box was a bit smashed up (which is probably due to Hong Kong post). I paid a total of $11.71 for this package, which is, looking at the outstanding quality of the products, not a lot. I have ordered multiple products from this site, with a current order total of about $60, and everything has been delivered. Recently, an Acekard bought at DealExtreme broke though, after about 2,5 months of use. I sent a support ticket, and received a response within 3 days, stating they would send a replacement as soon as possible, no further questions asked. Great service! I will sure keep shopping here, and recommend the service to others.
