DealExtreme provided terrible service and did not ship a product I ordered for over 17 days after I ordered it. I requested a refund at the 14 day mark and was not given a response until 3 days later, when a customer service apologized and said that a refund could not be processed because the ordered had already 'shipped'. I'm sure customer service was working so so hard on getting my order through - it's ridiculous to have a customer wait 14 days and then beat around the bush while buying time to put in an order that should have come weeks earlier.
Do not buy from DealExtreme, especially if you're a North American customer.

The stuff are cheap though few are not good condition or spoilt when delivered,but the service support from DealExtreme is very good therefore its a thumbs up for this website/company.
Even though they sent me a replacement which still in the end turn out to be spoilt again,due to their good services,overall i still give a full stars rating.

I ordered 5 sku.11211 (2 e-cigs in each) and 5 refills pack for them on 29 march 2009.
All 10 e-cigs had broken batteries. DX ask me to send batteries back for replace. This was only fast and friendly action.
After they received, DX answer that they have no batteries for replace. After some messages, they stop answer to support ticket. I closed and reopened ticket in july, they ask me to wait.
For now, this issue is not solved. I have non-workable e-cigs without batters but with refills. DX not answer for my tickets from 2009-09-15.
I buying on DX over two years and was happy most time. But this was first order with all items broken and DX not want to solve this problem.

I had some issues with one order (received a wrong item, not the one i ordered) but Dealextreme customer service manager offered a satisfactory solution: reship the right item for free and a $5 discount for a future order. Five thumbs up this time.

First, I ordered a Fiio speaker from them, which was listed as shipping in 1-3 days. Watched the status change to Ready to ship and then suddenly Processing-Contact for status. Contacted them and got a reply ~ a week later (NOT 24-48 hr) that they have no idea when it will be in stock. Waited another month, then cancelled the order. Ordered different Fiio speaker on 9/23. Again, listed on the site as 1-3 days shipping. Again same story, ending with Processing-Contact for updates. Contacted, waited for a week, got no reply. Closed ticket and cancelled order on 10/6. No reply yet, 9 days later. Needless to say, will never deal with these people again.

I placed my order on September 30th. I patiently waited because I had heard about a holiday that they were on and took into consideration the fact that there would be added time to wait for my item but this is rediculous. It has been more than 2 weeks and still not even a tracking number? about 7 days ago my status showed that my item was in packaging so normally I got excited and assumed my item would be shipped soon. It has not. The status changed to "Processing - Contact us for updates" I sent a CSE ticket to them 4 days ago now. (I thought the response time was 24-48 hours) and still have not heard anything from them. It was a simple order 1 item that they claimed to have in-stock. I was recommended to them by a friend and was under the impression they were a reliable company but now I have my doubts. There items are cheap but I would recommend paying the little extra at some OTHER website to get your item in a timely fashion.
on a strange side-note. a separate order that I placed with them using paypal as apposed to without paypal has already been sent out... and THOSE items weren't even in stock when i ordered them. BUYERS BEWARE use Paypal's protection IF you are to deal with this shady seller. This is my first and LAST time dealing with Dealextreme.com. I ordered an item on July 2. They promptly received the funds via Paypal. This was my first order with them based on the ratings they received. At the end of August the order indicated it was still "processing". In Sept, when the order still showed the status of "processing", I requested a refund on Sept 19. The reply was that it would take 2 weeks since it was past 60 days. I did not receive a refund and submitted another Customer Service request for a refund on 10/8. I still have not heard back from them despite the fact that they advertise "48 hr response Mon-Fri". So I have no product, no refund and no response from DealExtreme. For me, the lure of their low prices is not worth the risk of just giving them money for nothing. If you look at their history, their ratings have steadily deteriorated and are at an all time low. Placed an order on Sept 28. Still had not received an order confirmation or shipping confirmation after a week. I sent in emails (I couldn't log into my account either) asking for help in getting into my account AND to see the status of my order as I had no received an order # or confirmation email. No response after over a week. To date, I have received no correspondence from dealextreme other than the automated email I received when disputing the purchase with paypal. That was the first time I got an order #. Dispute left unanswered after a week of posting to paypal, now I'm submitting a claim. What a headache over a $5 purchase.

Made an order. Most of things shipped within 1 week or so, but the last item still no-go despite the fact that it appears to be in stock according to product page. Also according to the product's forum people that ordered this very same item after me got it shipped already.
Customer Service Express (i guess "Express" there means something completely different then in the rest of the universe) hadn't respond to a couple of open tickets so the latest ticket was filed with request for refund in case that they are unable to ship it.
Update 1: within 1 day after requesting refund item got shipped and i got response from service that since it got shipped i can't get refund. Well, let's see how it will arrive. This review was modified by its author, musora, on

Placed an order for a portable speaker on 7/27/09. By 9/4/09, I had still not received it. I asked for a refund, which they said they would give me in 7 days. I placed this order, which stayed in processing for over 8 days. I sent an email on the status of my order (supposedly response time 24-48 hours) but it took several days before I even got a response stating the order was shipped. Nay, incomplete! Upon checking website only one item was shipped while others were still waiting on supplier. I requested more info since items were supposed to be stocked but still no response on that email. I sinced ordered products elsewhere and requested cancellation on the 15th but now site says packing. I no longer want this and they have extremely slow customer response. I placed an order on 9/4/2009. The order is still processing even today! I wrote two emails, the first email was sent 5 days ago(PST) and the second was sent yesterday to (dealextreme). The emails were asking if something is wrong with my order? Neither email has been answered! I paid DE $164.23 10 days ago, my order is still processing & I cant even get an answer why? If you ask me that's horrible business practice to not ship asap & on top of that not even answer a paying customer's emails.
I was notified today that my purchase will be shipping out today.
update: I should have taken a screen shot of each time the order was changed. Yesterday it showed all my items as being shipped out. Today it shows all but two items have been shipped. The remaining two items wont be in stock until 9/26/2009!
Update 10/4/2009......
Still remain to receive two items from this order. One is still "waiting on supplier" the other item was shipped out a couple days ago. But it was shipped out air mail. (not what I paid for, I paid for EMS). It is a month today from the day I placed the order. Still have not received everything.
Placed another order for a small $$ amount. That order was placed on 9/23/2009. All of the items on that order are also listed as "waiting on supplier" as well.

Do not order from this company. My camera arrived defective. I summited a request for a refund instead of an exchange because it was also very cheap quality. You have to submit a photo of your product as well. They ignored my request for a refund and said that they would send a replacement instead. Well here it is September 9th 2009. I have not received my refund or a replacement. Basically they have stollen $80.00 from me. DealExtream are a bunch of crooks.

I ordered an item worth $9.87, waited for DX to ship my order for two weeks and tried to cancel the order. They have not responded to my cancel request in four days so I have filed a PayPal dispute against them. Before this I've gotten fast service from them but this does not make me want to deal with them again.

I ordered this item since August 6, 2009. It's been a month and I haven't received the items. The status is still in process. I tried to contact them 3 times but never got any responses.
I'm hoping that at least they respond to one of my emails.
