Misleading or/and false advertising. Product doesn't work, advertises unavailable items. Money not refunded. Poor quality customer service.

I bought a touch screen laptop gadget from dealextream.com. After it was deliverd cracked I sent it back. The screen cost me $51.00USD and the shipping was $25USD. I received confirmation that the screen was delivered to Hong Kong China on the 8th of October and still no refund. After repeatedly posting tickets on there support website Im getting no response and am feeling ignored. So in summary I'm out $76USD and nothing to show for it. NEVER NEVER NEVER again!

After receiving conformation from them that they received the package they are now telling me that they are shipping me a replacement that i didn't ask for nor wanted. Ordered some t-shirts over a month ago and received no shipping information. I checked their order status page weekly and it kept showing that they were locating vendors. I sent an e-mail out to them the 4th week to inquire about status. Got no response. Sent another a few days later. No response. Disputed transaction with PayPal, and a couple days later I got an e-mail from their customer service rep stating that they are working hard to locate the shirts and asked me to wait a couple more days. Received another e-mail next day to ask me to close the PayPal dispute as their system autocancels the order. I told them that I can't close the dispute as I have no guarantee that they will ship (PayPal doesn't allow re-opening of a claim). They told me to close or they will cancel order. Order status shows, "Paused due to PayPal Complaint". Told them that it's not my fault for their system to cancel the order and that I need to keep complaint open to protect myself. DealExtreme provided terrible service and did not ship a product I ordered for over 17 days after I ordered it. I requested a refund at the 14 day mark and was not given a response until 3 days later, when a customer service apologized and said that a refund could not be processed because the ordered had already 'shipped'. I'm sure customer service was working so so hard on getting my order through - it's ridiculous to have a customer wait 14 days and then beat around the bush while buying time to put in an order that should have come weeks earlier.
Do not buy from DealExtreme, especially if you're a North American customer.

First, I ordered a Fiio speaker from them, which was listed as shipping in 1-3 days. Watched the status change to Ready to ship and then suddenly Processing-Contact for status. Contacted them and got a reply ~ a week later (NOT 24-48 hr) that they have no idea when it will be in stock. Waited another month, then cancelled the order. Ordered different Fiio speaker on 9/23. Again, listed on the site as 1-3 days shipping. Again same story, ending with Processing-Contact for updates. Contacted, waited for a week, got no reply. Closed ticket and cancelled order on 10/6. No reply yet, 9 days later. Needless to say, will never deal with these people again.

I placed my order on September 30th. I patiently waited because I had heard about a holiday that they were on and took into consideration the fact that there would be added time to wait for my item but this is rediculous. It has been more than 2 weeks and still not even a tracking number? about 7 days ago my status showed that my item was in packaging so normally I got excited and assumed my item would be shipped soon. It has not. The status changed to "Processing - Contact us for updates" I sent a CSE ticket to them 4 days ago now. (I thought the response time was 24-48 hours) and still have not heard anything from them. It was a simple order 1 item that they claimed to have in-stock. I was recommended to them by a friend and was under the impression they were a reliable company but now I have my doubts. There items are cheap but I would recommend paying the little extra at some OTHER website to get your item in a timely fashion.
on a strange side-note. a separate order that I placed with them using paypal as apposed to without paypal has already been sent out... and THOSE items weren't even in stock when i ordered them. BUYERS BEWARE use Paypal's protection IF you are to deal with this shady seller. This is my first and LAST time dealing with Dealextreme.com. I ordered an item on July 2. They promptly received the funds via Paypal. This was my first order with them based on the ratings they received. At the end of August the order indicated it was still "processing". In Sept, when the order still showed the status of "processing", I requested a refund on Sept 19. The reply was that it would take 2 weeks since it was past 60 days. I did not receive a refund and submitted another Customer Service request for a refund on 10/8. I still have not heard back from them despite the fact that they advertise "48 hr response Mon-Fri". So I have no product, no refund and no response from DealExtreme. For me, the lure of their low prices is not worth the risk of just giving them money for nothing. If you look at their history, their ratings have steadily deteriorated and are at an all time low. Placed an order on Sept 28. Still had not received an order confirmation or shipping confirmation after a week. I sent in emails (I couldn't log into my account either) asking for help in getting into my account AND to see the status of my order as I had no received an order # or confirmation email. No response after over a week. To date, I have received no correspondence from dealextreme other than the automated email I received when disputing the purchase with paypal. That was the first time I got an order #. Dispute left unanswered after a week of posting to paypal, now I'm submitting a claim. What a headache over a $5 purchase.

I have place the order on September 26 and now it is October 9. I have email and contacted the seller for update on my products and no response. On top of that, they do not provide any kind of communications on the status of your order.
They are difficult to communicate and does not provide a good customer service.
I tried to cancel my order but it says that i will get a refund 3 weeks later. What is up with that!!???? I cannot wait 3 weeks for refund. I need my products. Next time I will not order from this company.

I have ordered a few times from dealextreme but probably not any more. I had to cancel part of my last order after it hadn't shipped a month after I ordered it. I'm about to cancel this order as well. The product I ordered was and still is listed as "In Stock", yet it has not been shipped. I ordered it on 9/28/09 almost 12 days ago. According to their web page, products will ship in "1-4" days, I don't think so. I have a couple open tickets that I'm waiting for a response on. They say 24-48 hour response time for opened tickets, yet it has been 3 days and I still haven't heard anything from them. I'm getting tired of this. I ordered an item that dealextreme had listed and still has listed as "in stock" with an estimated ship time of 1-3 days. My attempts to get a status via their online ticket system have gone unanswered. I read a lot of negative reviews about this company before ordering, but hoped since I was only ordering 1 item that was " in stock" that I wouldn't have problems. So far it looks like I was wrong. The price of the item I ordered is good, but since I have no idea who has my money or when/if I can expect my order which was supposed to be in stock and ship in 1-3 days, I would recommend you stay away.

Update: I finally got an answer for customer service saying that a national holiday held up my order and that it is still being processed. this is the worst site ever! i received the bluetooth device from them which broke within days of receiving it. After shipping it back, i asked for the shipping charges as promised and was told that they generally give store credit! why would i want store credit at a place where i have already received a crappy product? they then tell me that since it is only 3$ and change i should be fine to wait for the money to come. why should they be the judge for that?? finally they sent me the money through paypal and i got the replacement WHICH DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!!i have submitted a complaint a week ago asking for money back and no response!! my account password seems to have been blocked so i am unable to login to even leave a review!!

What can i say..
These guys are pure idiots. Order was placed through them on the 24th. No email acknowledgment from them at all. When an email sent to them asking about the status was sent it was returned undeliverable.
What makes this site worse is that they are actually located in Hong Kong! While the city is great it has many con artists who thrive on taking money away from honest working people.
Some of their defenders say that we customers need to calm down and wait for a month because that is how long for them to complete the order. Well that to me is ridiculous. I sell on other sites as my side job and i often ship to overseas and orders are usually complete out in 10 days or less!!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE RETARDS who can't even get their email services up.
DO US A FAVOR AND NEVER NEVER BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

I ordered three items from DealExtreme on September 5th, 2009 and paid extra for expedited shipping. I received a notification on September 14th that my items were shipped on September 11th. The tracking number that DealExtreme provided was incorrect, and my attempts to contact them and receive a correct tracking number have been ignored. Despite the fact that the site estimates a 3-5 day delivery once an item has been shipped via EMS, I do not yet have my package and have no idea where it may be. I received a second shipping notification on September 21st, this time with no tracking number. So now I have no idea where my EMS package is, whether or not they have split the order into 2 or more shipments, or how much longer I will have to wait for my items. All the information regarding time on DealExtreme is extremely unreliable, from their 48 hour response time for support to their estimations of processing and delivery time. Their customer service is practically nonexistant. It seems that the only regularity in their service is that with which they monitor their score on Reseller Ratings in order to appease customers who have run out of patience. Do not order from this site unless you have absolutely no problem with having no idea where your items are and if or when you will ever receive them. By no means should you order express shipping, as they apparently disregard the fact that those who do so need their items soon. It WILL be money wasted. I will never order from this site again.
