I found out about DX last year and have made many orders since - the prices are super cheap, though quality varies with some items so its useful to check out other peoples reviews.  
Shipping time can take a little long sometimes but this is something expected when buying from a far country like China.  
Also, when I've had problems with some of my orders the staff have been really polite and helpful and sorted out the issues quickly.  
I'd definitely recommend it!

My experiences with DealExtreme were quite pleasing. In my last order we even had to deal with a missing item and the issue was solved very fine. Let me explain:  
 
The by far most expensive item, which I had ordered for a friend, didn't arrive. Several other items were shipped as soon as they were available (each time that happens, I'm amazed about this effort to keep customers happy, and what hidden shipping costs may accumulate for the vendor.)  
 
Eventually I digged through the order tracking and found out that the missing item should have been sent several weeks ago - together with another item (which actually had arrived)! Now I was faced with three problems: how to explain plausibly that the item had not arrived, how to find out where it might have gotten lost (perhaps even the customs of my country found it quite attractive when opening the package for control purposes?), and how to feed the dealextreme ticket system without having photos of the package which should've contained the second item.  
 
I opened a ticket for "missing items" and added empty pictures. There was no way to add a text description, so this seems to be a well established way to alert the vendor about missing items. This looked very promising, but was no solution for me (because I had noticed the problem much too late and had unfortunately even thrown away the wrapping).  
 
So I closed the ticket myself shortly after, digged through the site again and found the way to open general problem tickets.  
 
I explained my problem as exactly as possible, but also honestly, being aware that I was quite late and that I had a hard time to prove my problem.  
 
I got a fast response and the item was reshipped.  
This helped me a lot and cemented my trust to buy from a vendor on the other side of the globe. This also concerns future orders of mine: Now I know that the vendor definitely is not a cheap hit&run selling machine (where you would fall through in case of individual problems), but that he does care!  
 
Eventually I also found the shipment bookmarks (I had forgotten that I had saved them) - so I could file them subsequently, let's say as a sign of respect for their efforts.  
 
I've done several orders in total and I was always pleased with the handling of the transactions, including the easy order tracking even after shipping. It was all quite some fun each time!

Best shop ever! I've spent over 300bucks here. Fast replies on CSE :) Buy from here, not another store. even if its cheaper. DX got the best customer service!

Great support, unfortunately not in stock in time but calceling the order went very quick. Within 1 hour actualy.  
All other previous orders that where in stock were dilivered as promised.

In Detail: After approx 10 orders from DX, I can say that I am over all rather pleased with the transactions and the quality of the stuff.  
Selling things world wide is a highly complex matter, and DX seems to manage this quite well.  
I have never had any unpleasant trouble, and when I received a defective item, DX was rather efficient at replacing it.  
The only thing you need to have with DX: patience. Sometimes you have to wait for an answer for many days.

I am a buyer from Argentina, and besides our post office is quite unefficient, DX is my best choice.  
Good price, free shipping, lots of gadgets.  
I love it.

I have ordered from Dealextreme about 8 times in the last year or so with no problems at all. They have a great range of products at excellent prices, the product photos are helpful and the review system is unbiased and useful. Customer service has always been excellent. Sometimes there is a longish wait for out-of-stock items, but they always ship what they can straight away. Everything I've ordered has worked as described. Living in New Zealand, the free worldwide shipping is a big plus.

I would not recomend this merchant. I placed an order on 1/3/10, it is now 3/17/10 and I have still not received my entire order. Customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever seen. They have no email contacts only form to fill out. They will get to your request when they feel like it. I will not do business with this company in the future. Trust me if you have a problem you will be very lucky to get anywhere with these people.

I never rec. my items, it has been over 6 weeks and no one has answered my help question. Live talk is temp busy for 3 days now?????????

If you have a need for quick and easy search for things that you need, then you're in the right place.  
A large number of products that complements almost daily with new products.  
 
Prices are very affordable, so you do not have too try searching around for cheaper simply because it does not  
 
Payment is simple safe and fast  
 
Furthermore, if viewed from the side of delivery of ordered items can not complain considering the distance and availability.

i've ordered at the end of the CNY holiday, so it takes more then couple of weeks weeks for them to proceed, but we highly appreciate them for they explained reason and asked the apology.  
 
it would be better try to find someway to bit speedup the process at holidays in future.  
 
please try not to receive or accept the order for the item which have no stock at the movement, it'll save lot of time and frustration for waiting for both customer as well as dealer.  
 
order status should be little more clearly explained and assured.

This was my first order with DX and all went perfectly. They quickly sent me the goods, along with tracking reference, which I received 10 days later. A very good transaction, indeed!  
I've made some more orders soon after this first one, I think I can rely on DX for the future.

First of all i want to thank the DealExtreme - i have orderes 2 flashligts as a gifts to my friends with battaries and chargers. It was packaged in 3 days and shipped in 7 (with approval of leaving HK). With provided tracking number it was very easy to track the shipment.  
After arrival i opened the package and everything was allright - all itemes were in place with no damage. Everything worked just fine!  
Also, DX product forums are very usefull to comfirm your choise and order items you exactly need.  
I can really recommend to buy from this shop!  

Order arrived in retail packaging. packaging was unopened and undamaged. Price was excellent. Free shipping was nice, BUT, slow as hell. You should have the option to pay for expedited shipping. If you order from this company, be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Would I order from DealExtreme again? Probably not. I would rather pay a little extra somewhere else, and receive the item in a more timely fashion. There are some things worth a few bucks more. Like my time! GOOD LUCK!
