I ordered a wiikey on 10/18/09 and still has not received my order for almost 2 weeks. I left a message 2 days ago in their website message board but no one responded to my message.

It is most likely a slight customs delay however we have not switched to UPS for USA orders so you are guaranteed to receive your order within 3-5 business days with UPS as Canada Post is unreliable to the US.

Ordered a CK3 Probe 7/30/09 They sent me the wrong tracking # and responded 2 days later Did not recieve it until 07/08/2009.... 9 Days!... Recieved my CK3 probe... My PIN IS BROKEN AND The Green light stays on at ALL TIMES (Probe dead).

We only missed 1 letter in your tracking number. You emailed us at 11:38 am Central time on August 1 regarding the tracking number and we e-mailed you back the correct tracking number on August 2, 12:32 PM which is within just over 24 hours.  
 
As well, you ordered on July 30, your order shipped on July 31 and arrived to you on August 7 as can be seen by the Canada Post tracking number LE091823035CA . That is 6 business days as stated on our Shipping page that orders to the US typically take 4-6 business days to arrive.  
 
As well, if a product is defective, we will exchange it. I do apologize that you received a defective product, however, I provided you with an RMA # immediately after you e-mailed us for an exchange. Defective products such as this are unfortuntely out of our control since we do not know they are defective, which is why we honor exchanges for defective products.

I purchased a CK3 Pro, which according to their website was in stock. Since I had a rush job to do for a customer, I paid $23.95 for overnight express shipping. The order was placed just before 2PM local time, which should have given them plenty of time to get the order out for next day delivery, (especially since they claim that they can be relied on to promptly ship all items). In fact they did not ship the item until the next day, turning the overnight shipment that I paid for into a 2 day shipment.  
 
When the product arrived, it was visibly defective, as the MODB switch socket was empty. Furthermore, Windows reported that it was defective when attached to my computers USB port. I reported this, and got an email message back from Sylvester G. claiming that "we get a lot of these back, and they always work when tested"?  
 
I returned the product for replacement. Sylvester G. promised me that he would send me a replacement on the same day that the return arrived, and to notify him by email when the tracking system indicated that it had arrived. According to the Canada Post tracking system, they received it last Wednesday at 11:30AM. I advised him of the delivery as requested. I heard nothing back until 8:30PM that night, when he now informed me that "we are out of stock, would you like a similar product instead".  
 
I will never be able to prove this, but I strongly suspect that they were out of stock when I placed my order, and someone shipped me a defective customer return just to get it out the door, (hence the reason for the 1 day delay in shipping). Anyone who even made a quick examination of this item would been able to see that it was defective. So much for shipping the replacement out the same day. He knew that I was in a rush to get the product, but does not let me know this until it is way too late to ship the replacement on Wednesday as he had promised? I immediately replied that I wanted the replacement and asked for the tracking number. No response to that email, or the 3 others which followed, (and they don't provide a phone number for direct contact).  
 
Finally yesterday, (now the following Monday), I received an actual phone call from Sylvester G. He now claims that the item shipped last Friday, and gave me "the tracking number". He claimed that he had emailed me last Friday to inform me of this. Unfortunately for him, I run my own mail server, and I checked the logs, there was no attempt to send me email from his SMTP email server what so ever. As soon as I got off the phone, I looked up the tracking number, only to discover that it was the tracking number for the original shipment, and not for the replacement item. I have emailed him twice since then, but as expected, no response, and no product arrived today either, (which it would have if it had been shipped last Friday).  
 
In the past, I have made all my related purchases from modchip.ca. They post a phone number, and have always shipped all orders the same day. The only reason that I made the purchase from Modchip Central was that their site indicated that they had the item I wanted in stock, while modchip.ca indicated that they were out of stock. Lesson learned; I will never again purchase anything from Modchip Central. You cannot treat people like this and expect repeat business. My strong suggestion to anyone who is looking for modding products is to avoid this company like the plague, and go directly to www.modchip.ca instead. You won't be disappointed.  
 
Despite anything that they may claim in response, this is as exact an account of what has transpired as I can provide, and I have the email messages and server logs to back it up.

You placed your order at 2PM. Canada Post picks up our orders at 4:30 PM here. Giving us 2.5 hours to get to your order is not sufficient enough time when we have many orders to ship. This is why it is stated on our home page " Orders are typically shipped the same day or by the next business day at the latest" and your order did ship by the next business day. You had e-mailed us June 6 stating you have finally had a chance to use it and the product is defective, so I do not see how the shipping time was an issue?  
 
The reason we were out of stock on them at the time of your replacement is because our shipment is stuck at customs, and still is and was to arrive to us on June 8 and still hasn't. Attatched is a picture of the UPS tracking number as proof. As you can see, it is still sitting in Louisville, KY since June 7 and has not even arrived in Winnipeg. Just the customs work was done in Winnipeg so far: http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/images1/connectivitykit.jpg . This was just an unfortunately event and I do take repsonsibility for it, which is why we offered you a very similar product as a replacement since this shipment is stuck in customs.  
 
As well, I mistakenly read you the wrong tracking number over the phone. Here is the correct tracking number which you will see was shipped on Friday June 19 as promised via Canada Post: 7255 2940 0104 5116 . I do apologize as for somehow I read the wrong tracking number. We all make mistakes, especially when you have to answer e-mails after a 12 hour day working so I do take responsibility for that.

I have received a defective modchip and returned it to them for a refund. It has been two weeks and I still have not received a refund.  
 
I only received a partial refund.

Placed an order on 3 Dec 08. Kept having a problem with them charging my credit card account. I emailed them with the concern that my card couldn't be charged and they came back with a reply immediately.  
 
So I end up chosing the money order option. Mailed the money order and invoice via USPS Express (so I could track it). Both the US Postal Service and Canada Post state money order was delivered on 9 Dec 08 (Canada Post even shows the signature online which is awesome).  
 
I waited a while to see if they would update my order status and even emailed them on 11 Dec 08 to check on the order's status (being that the website is stating that they are shipping daily). Haven't had a reply since. Today is now 18 Dec 08 and still no reply or package received. Now here I am a week before Christmas shopping for more gifts for my son because I feel like I'm gonna get screwed.  
 
Talked to my coworkers (I work side by side with Canadians) and if I don't get it by the end of the week, there are a couple of folks here with connections back at Canada who are looking to bust these guys and shut them down for good. I say have at it, being:  
 
1) screwed and not receiving my product  
 
2) asking for status and being ignored now that they have my money (but email replies are great prior to them getting the money)  
 
3) for ruining my kids Christmas

We respond to each and every e-mail sent to us. Why would we ignore an e-mail to lose out on your sale if you already placed your order?  
 
Have you checked to see if your money order has been cashed in? What is your order number?  
 
E-mail us using our Contact Us form on our website as we reply to tons of e-mails every day so your e-mail must not be getting through to us. We do not ignore people unlike many other mod companies as I believe we are one of the most reputable ones out there. Sure, companies make mistakes on orders here and there, but we strive to be one of the best.

okay well where do i begin? i was pretty excited to order this chip for my wii. well i ordered it somewhere around the middle of august, but i was charged for it on the 27th of august but that was after at least of week of purchase... either way, thats fine, it takes about 2 weeks for it to get here, again, thats fine, i'm in no big rush.  
 
Well the package finally shows up and i go up to start to work on my system. i open the package to find a chip was packed in a think bubble wrap envelope and the wii-clip was bent. i immediately send them an email saying that its bent and i'm not touching anything until they confirm i should continue ( i even take pictures of it as well) they assure me its not an issue. okay well now that i know its not going to be a problem, i go to take apart my wii to get the drive out with the triwing screwdriver they sent me. WRONG!... i received a t-10 torx. so i email them again telling them they have send me the wrong "screwdriver". they apologize and tell me they are shipping another one out asap. a little over a week later the tribit shows up.  
 
So now, after nearly a month of waiting on this and that to show up i can start the process. i take it to a friend of mine that has done the snap on wii clip before just so i didn't have to mess with it. he snaps in on in a matter of seconds and we put it into the disassembled wii. no go red light, no disc function whatso ever with the chip attached. remove the chip and the wii operates as normal. i thought to myself i knew something was fishy about bent clips being okay.  
 
So then i email them once again (we have in total exchanged email over 30 times and i have used my credit card a total of 4 times in the process of getting this chip working) telling them this chip isn't working etc etc, told you it was bent when i got it, blah blah blah. they tell me that in some cases an extra wire must be soldered into place. well i take it to an electronic shop and get charged 20 dollars to solder one wire, a rip off i know, regardless i wanted it working. i do this, come home try it again and should i be surprised that it still doesn't work? because i wasn't.  
 
Well yet again i email them requesting a replacement or a replacement of my money. they tell me they will replace the the clip for 20 dollars and extra 10 to ship it, after i just spent almost 10 to send it to them. i refuse tell them to send me my money back that i'm not sending them 30 dollars for another crappy clip that will probably show up damaged as well. they tell me that they will just replace it and ship it for 10 dollars.  
 
i'm still pretty kinda mad about it but i send them 10 dollars to cover it... well that was about a two weeks ago and so far i haven't received any acknowledgment of them getting the payment(besides the funds being withdrawn from my bank account) for it or a reply to the email i sent them afterwards.  
 
in conclusion i have spent about 125 dollars(not to mention going on 3 months) on an 85 dollar chip(which the price dropped a week after i ordered it but that happens) and still don't have anything to show for it. i don't recommend anyone to order from them. their customer service is pretty decent, but i think they are just trying to rob me of as much money as possible, they know they have reached my limit and probably won't ever reply to me. we shall see.  
 
i suggest ordering from a company inside the united states, the canadain sellers seem to be slow and not worried about how long it takes you to get your merchandise. i feel that i have given them more than ample time to get there stuff together.

I would like to share with you this horrible experience I had with Canadian MOD website ModChipCentral (http://www.modchipcentral.com).  
 
I made the order for the modded DVD drive from ModChipCentral on June 8th, they quickly invoiced my account, thus the waiting for the package to ship began.  
I received the package on the 23rd only to discover that delivery packaging was poor and one of the wires was disconnected (if you ask me this was due to bad welding, shaking the package normally does not cause welding points to break)  
When they were told of this they advised me to take the DVD with the WASABI chip to a professional welding shop in Israel (where I live), I asked them about reimbursing me for this and they agreed.  
As agreed the wire was welded into place, this still did not fix the issue, instead when inserting a disc (WII sports original or downloaded DVD) I now received "Unable to read the disk" error message.  
 
ModChipCentral advised me to ship the unit back to Canada.  
 
After inspection they told me that they connected the wrong bridge on the WASABI chip, which caused the WII to "be" in NTSC region instead of PAL (should this even matter now that this is a "hacked" drive???) and this is somehow my fault!! (!!!!!)  
 
They shipped a new (or the same one I can not tell) unit, this time this unit works although I must say that I can notice longer loading time for WII sports.  
 
ModChipCentral did not reimburse me for - shipping or for fixing the loose wire or for taxes I had to pay twice when receiving the unit!  
Or in other words NO REIMBURSMENT EVEN THOUGH THEY PROMISED.  
 
I was dealing with "Sylvester G" from ModChipCentral.

My recommendation is to STAY AWAY LIKE FIRE!  
I advise you to buy in a different store instead of getting RIPPED OFF by these unprofessional lying imbeciles.

Yes, that does matter. If you have JP1 soldered for NTSC region and you use it in a PAL Wii, it will not read any discs as it is in NTSC mode. JP2 has to be soldered for PAL consoles and that was the issue.  
 
I wil admit you did not have that great of an experience with us, but we responded to every e-mail sent and made sure we took care of you to receive a working product in the end.

I ordered an R4DS from modchipcentral on Nov. 28, and requested on the order form that a tracking number be emailed to me once the item was shipped.  
Naively, I expected the item to be shipped the following day; however, I didn't receive a tracking number on the 29th. So, I went to the website so I could determine the status of my order. However, the website was closed for maintenance. So, I just emailed their sales department and requested the tracking number.  
The website ended up being closed for almost 3 full days for maintenance. After the site was up and running, I requested a tracking number for a 3rd time.  
It has been nearly a week since I've placed my order and I still haven't received any communication from modchipcentral. Unfortunately, I have to wait 30 days to request a chargeback from my credit card company. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the service I have (not) received from modchipcentral.

Terrible Experience. There is not concept of support with these guys... I recently purchased a Maximus USBXtractor with Power Kit bundle from them. The stuff arrived after 22 days (thats way too long) but when I opened the package the extractor's tip was broken. In another words it was useless. I tried contacting them for a replacement but all I receive is a response as follows:  
 
"Do you have a picture of the broken piece and the USB Xtractor?  
 
There is no way it came broken since they ship with a cover on the tip"  
 
Now I have sent them the pictures as well of the beoken pin and I am trying to follow up for last two days but there is no response from there side. Seems like there is no concept of after sales support.. It seems like all my time and money got wasted is buying a broken device and waiting for almost a month. I hope I am wrong and they will reply soon to give me a replacement as I have received it in a broken state in the beginning.  
 
UPDATE:  
Just got reply bak. All my emails were somehow going to SPAM... they have agreed to send me a replacement as well as faster delivery options... I will update this review soon.

I ordered two WiiKey chips and an Argon chip. 1 WiiKey and the Argon were good, the other WiiKey was bad.  
 
I installed one of the WiiKeys and the Argon soon after receiving them. They both worked fine.  
 
Unfortunately I didn't install the 2nd WiiKey until 35 days after my order date, which meant that they would not not help me. Their response, "Unfortunately your order is past our 30 day warranty policy."  
 
So I continued to hastle them and finally got this for a response, "If you want, to be fair, ship the defective chip back to us. Upon receiving it, we will test it and if it is defective, we will ship you a replacement."  
 
Unfortunately I didn't want to pay half the cost of the chip to ship it back to them, so I am out the chip.  
 
I tried ModChip.ca and this guy is the best, he even pre-tests his chips. And the chip was $10 less, I got a replacement from him for the shipping cost had I sent the other back.

Well here is my experience with this company. I order a product, soon after I order sad product there website goes down. The next day it is still down, and send them a e-mail inquiring about my order. 3 Days later the e-mail me back saying that there website and e-mail services went down and it took them awhile to get them back up.  
 
Ok I guess I will buy that, I was just happy to hear that I am going to get the stuff I ordered. They apologized about the inconvenience and told me my order will ship out the next day.  
 
Well finally 2 days later my order ships out. That really got under my skin. If you are not going to ship it out the next day don't tell me you are.

I order the Wasabi-Zero solderless configuration on Dec 26th (it is now Jan 10th). I have contacted the seller twice, and asked for a tracking number(which I didn't get), and now the invoice shows "completed". I have yet to receive my purchase, or any type of tracking information. I have been billed though.  
 
**UPDATE**  
received product on Jan 10th, inspected contents all seems well, installed, and tested it, and while its installed the dvd drive wont work. Wrote them another email asking for suggestions. waiting to hear back from them.

I ordered an Acekard 2i that was shipped on the 17th. Received on the 20th of August. The package included a Acekard2i, card-reader and a Nintendo screen protector.  
 
Now, while the Acekard2i works perfectly , I can't say the same for the card-reader. It doesn't detect any microSD card inserted into it, I had to use my old R4's reader.  
 
Kudos for fast shipping & the excellent customer service, but not for the damaged card-reader.

Ordered my product on Feb 27, and it was shipped quickly. Unfortunately, it took nearly a month to get my product from Canada express. EVentually, the product did arrive however, and I am glad to have it. I will probably order from them again, but hope the long shipping time is just a fluke and next time I get my products faster. I am glad everything finally worked out.
