I must say that although I was initially very disappointed with PCCLUB and SWORE that I would never do business with them again... I really would like to rescind from those comments.
I too, am dealing with the GEForce7900 Card and also the 8600 GT card. Actually ordered both of them and they both got cancelled!
I was completely irate until I called customer support and they explained to me that it was due to an error in the system, and that they were really sorry, and that they would be willing to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
I was then given not 1, but TWO 10 dollar coupon codes which I then used at the store to get some free items. Furthermore, the thing I really like about PCClub is that I didn't have to pay shipping. I simply went to the store and picked up my order.
Thank You PCClub for apologizing and fixing the mistake. Only 1 thing. I wish you would have let me know a little earlier as you did hold my money for more than 2 days before cancelling! This review was modified by its author, cruisingcali725, on

First, let me say that I hate to give negative reviews. I rarely do it, but this PC Club "business" is nothing but a joke. I ordered a video card that was in-stock, and probably a price mistake. OK so no big deal if that gets canceled, right? Not like it hasn't happened before. But.... A few days later, they DELETE my whole order. All traces of my order are gone. Next, they charged my credit card RIGHT away. It's ILLEGAL to CHARGE the credit card until they ship it. They can place a temporary "hold" or pending charge BEFORE shipping, although they ACTUALLY CHARGED ME. The worst part is that I STILL haven't received a refund. I called them and they got PISSED because I asked what the deal was and where my refund is. The guy on the other end of the line was almost YELLING in my ear. What kind of crap "business" is this? They obviously are in this business to make a quick buck. They don't care about their customers.

I purchased 2x512MB Kingston HyperX DDR on sale for $111.98 + $10 shipping. After waiting for 3 days for the product to arrive, I received an email saying "Your online order xxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx has been canceled. An order is only canceled if there was a problem processing your order or if it was canceled by your request. We are sending you this notice to inform you of your order status."
Well I contacted them to inquire as to the problem and they told me they no longer had the item in stock. I asked them how they sold me an item that was not in stock and they had no answer. I asked them to provide a substitute item at the same price and they declined, preferring to not provide adequate customer service.
Number 1 - A quality company has an online ordering system that will not allow you to place an order for items that are not in stock.
Number 2 - A quality company always makes an offer when they screw up.

REBATE RUNAROUND SCAM!
Here's how it works:
PC Club frequently advertises items as "Free after Rebate."
You buy the item on November 30, 2003 thinking it's a very good deal.
The item arrives on December 23, 2003 with a receipt dated November 30, 2003. The rebate terms and conditions say that you must send the original UPC from the item postmarked within 10 days of receipt of the item.
You mail the rebate in anyway. Despite the late shipment the rebate house still denies the rebate.
You call PC Club at 1-888-9PC-CLUB and they say they'll e-mail you.
You spend six months e-mailing back and forth being told your rebate is being processed and they'll get back to you.
You get fed up and file a BBB complaint. PC Club responds, "Company states [you] did not meet the requirements of the rebate hence he was denied the rebate for non compliance by the manufacturer."
Again, remember that it would be impossible to meet the requirements.
You try calling PC Club one last time on the phone, and nobody's picking up the phone.
That's what happened to me, and that's what will happen to you if you do business with these scammers. F-minus.

I was very pleased with the way everyone greeted me when I entered the store. There seemed to be a very pleasant atmosphere. One of the things that turns me off from many of the large electronics retailers is service: these large guys never seem to have anyone that knows anything or none of the kids there seem to want to help customers! That is never my experience at Pc Club--it is a small store with personal service and warehouse prices! Also I like it that Pc Club lets me order online and recieve free shipping to the store in my area. One last thing, I think these guys have a better chance of longevity than some of the local Mom/Pop stores--last year my friend bought a computer (and warranty) at a small local retailer and guess what; that store is out of business (and so is the warranty)! Pc Club may not be able to cover every single thing a guy needs all of the time, but it's nice to be treated like a friend when you go into a store. I bought a Gigafast wireless B USB adapter which I dont understand how to set up the network configuration. After I went to their City of Industry store and had their technician help me out. They even showed me how to do it. I think they have really good service which other place wont even care about. I think I will keep shopping at PC Club if I need any computer parts. I've been going to the Pc Club, Westwood store for the past 6 months and I've always been treated with total respect, the manager Eddie is extremely Nice and friendly and so are all the staff, they treat the customer like a good friend and all work together to find a solution when I have problem, recently one of my customers needed something done, so I came to the Westwood store and sure enough they found a solution for me. Keep it up guys and I wish the rest of the IT companies treat their customers as well as you do .I ‘m very happy with your company and PC Club (Westwood) will always be my first choice.

I went in to PC Club in Tacoma for the first time (off of their Computer User ad).
I was helped by Dane and was VERY impressed by his approach to me and giving me the freedom to roam. When I asked him for his help, he was great. He answered my questions and took the time to show me the hard drives.
When I inquired about a sale on cdr's, he not only looked it up in the ad, but when online as well. Well, I found my copy of the ad and the sale was over........but he went out of his way for only a couple of dollars off an item.
I refer a lot of people who need computers built, parts, etc....I will be sure to refer them to PC Club. I was a first time customer today, but will be a customer for a long time to come....and if the employee or the supervisor gets this feedback, please thank Dane again for me.
Thanks,

My letter to their customer support, it explains my experience.
Well you have certainly ticked off an customer. On top of not asking me wether or not this was actually a duplicate order before canceling, telling me that both boxes shipped and issuing Fedex Tracking numbers, my credit account NOT reflecting the money returned, or the fact that it is TOTALLY useless to have just one of these items (LAN over powerline needs 2 nodes), i wont be able to talk to anyone about this because you have no valid Telephone Customer Support numbers available that work. Since i have a debit account and my money has not been credited back yet, i wont be able to order this item until the return cleared. also since it took 2 and-a-half days for proccessing the last time i ordered, it seems like i will be able to actually use what i ordered last week, in probably about 2 or 3 days since UPS sucks so much anyway. Also now that i have not gotten my product ordered before the 31st (which i would have if you had not canceled it), i wont be able to apply for the rebate for this item. so that pretty much took $50 dollars out of my pocket, i know that to you guys it might not seem like much, but I can tell you that i will preach to all my customers that PCCLUB certainly is not on my good side because of this issue. I sell system and pc equipment to just about everyone in my college and this was my first order i was going to test you guys out with. i am not sure that i will order again, because of the rebate not applying anymore, otherwise i would have asked for the item to not be just dropped and possibly send with free (faster) shipping. Please have someone talk to me about this issue, as it also is hurting me timewise. i was hoping to acutally use what i bought sometime soon, and at the rate that this company has been impressing me i might as well die of old age before i ever get anything working.
Kinda mad,

Fantastic staff, inventory & knowledge base. I worked directly with the store manager, Jed, who helped me troubleshoot my PC's problem. Jed gave me a list of options and his opinion on what would work out best for me. Prices were comparable with online stores & the whole experience was a plus. Thanks PC Club!
