I purchased a HP laptop from Staples with XP media edition and a 3 year maintenance agreement.
The laptop broke down and Staples repaired the it 3 times then decided they couldn’t fix it, “Central Service Depot is their useless repair center they tried to steel my original XP media Cds”, so they sent it into HP for repair. HP replaced the main board and about everything else in the laptop, which was find but now the laptop can only run XP home edition.
I complained everyday for about a month so HP replaced the laptop with a new one with Vista Home edition.
The laptop is fine but Vista Home Edition is a bigger piece of junk than XP home edition was. Now I am stuck with an operating system that was built for people that don’t do anything but internet, what a piece of JUNK”. I will never buy anything from Staples again. !!!!!!!!

One of my all-time favorite stores! I have Rewards Membership, so that means free shipping on any order. Usually, I receive the item the next day since Staples have its own delivery services. There's $25 off $75 coupons floating around too, so the prices are often unbeatable!
Staples allow items that are bought online to be returned in-store. There were some exceptions. I bought a monitor with a dead pixel, and they wouldn't accept it at the store. Customer Service sent me a prepaid UPS shipping label and I took it to UPS the next day. A week later, I got a refund. Staples is very easy to deal with and also very generous! I went to their store in town and they had a style of desk I liked, but it was too big. They told me they carry a smaller version of it online, so I come home and get on their website and start browsing.
I found a desk that I like the looks of, the Bush Tuxedo L-Desk, and it's on sale. So I go ahead and call them up because I have a credit card and a debit card I wanted to use. The lady on the phone told me that I can't use those two forms over the phone and that I'll have to go to the store. Well, the store is close enough to my house that's no big deal, so I head there and order my desk.
Today (9/6/2007) the order arrives. I'm thinking that's nice, prompt shipment. Well, I look on the outside of the box and I can tell right away that it's the wrong thing. It's box 2 of 2 for the desk I saw in the store that was too big. Apparently box 1 of 2 didn't come with it. I call them up, and the lady was very helpful in re-ordering it, but I can't get the desk until at least 9/10/2007 now. That's a major disappointment, as I have this weekend off from work and I was looking forward to getting the desk set up and getting all my junk moved out of my old desk.
For the mistake the lady offered me a $25 coupon to be used in their store. I asked her if I could get it taken off of this purchase, and she said that I couldn't. I'm considering calling back up and cancelling my order and shopping somewhere that has a desk available for me to take home today.

I blame DEALNEWS.com and staples for advertising great deals AFTER REBATE and then not honoring them. After doing some searching around I have came to the conclusion that Staples hardly EVER honors rebates. So instead of boring you with details I am just going to give them worst review of the year. THAT WAS EASY!

On 12/02/06 I was looking for a Casio Ex850. I found one with low price on the net. I call Staples and they agreed to match that price. While waiting for the camera, I found another website, which had even lower price on that camera; I called Staples, to my surprise, they again agreed to matched the lower price. All the Customer Service personnels were very nice, helpful and professional. The invoice expected delivery date was 12/12/06; I received the camera brand NIB 12/06//06. Staples, in my opinion, has bent backward to please their customer.

Went into Staples about 6 pm on Saturday to buy a USB hub that was on sale for $10 (reglular price $20). They were out of stock. They ordered it and shipped it free. Received it on Tuesday morning 11/28/06.

Staples sucks!! Here are my reasons:
I brought a TV from them,
day 1: reasearching order
day 2: Now
Day 3: shipped from ware house
It had a box number and everything. I called staples customer service, they said the item was out of stock! I was about to kill them!! i sent 4 days at staples.com and 5 hours at staples customer number. All useless. They said the order was scratched off!! How does a order scratched off if i had placed an order. It wasnt fair.
I give this 0 star. This is all a scam from staples! Out of stock after you buy it? I've never heard of that. I am so angry!!!!

Staples stole $25 from me.
I placed an order at staples.com for a wireless router with a $25 mail-in rebate.
I was away from my printer when placing the order. So, I decided to print the rebate later...
When the order arrived, the rebate form was nowhere to be found -- not in the order confirmation emails, not on the "Order Status" web page, and not on staples' sitewide rebate search engine. An email to staples' customer support drew an automated reply, pointing me to the same rebate search engine which had already come up empty.
Summary: right item, quick shipment, pretend customer support, and double the price I expected to pay.

I order a file cabinet from them and the salesman promised it will be ship to my house at the next day. So I wasted all day to sit in the house and wait for them no show up since they said it is going to be from 10am to 5 pm. But at the end of the day they did not show up at all and I got no phone call from them. Then I called again, they told me they have not put down the order and it is going to ship any time between Aug 24 to Sept 14. How can they expect I will sit in the house 7 hours a day for almost a month for that order?

I order about 12 items from Staples.com for a buck each. Shipping was free. I thought it would take at least a week or two to arrive. I received the items in less than 24 hours. There was one minor problem with the order that probably was my fault (wrong item #). Staples refunded my money and gave me the item for free. Then they shipped the correct item to me the next day for free.
