Ordered almost a month ago, couldn't get any service, nor what i ordered. Worst communication i've ever seen. They clearly stated that they sent me my order, but never gave me a tracking number (using XpressPost). They obviously don't care at all about their customers, even tho their website state otherwise.  
 
I recommand NEVER to buy from them, i may have to use legal actions to get either my money back or the little thingies i ordered.

Ordered items and was sent a further email that they have been shipped May 8th. Checked reference number with Canada Post and they had no listing of the number. Emailed CompuVision on May 17th requesting tracking information. Did not receive a reply. Email again on May 19th, no reply. Paid $29.90 for freight for 4 X 3.5gram tubes of Artic Siver. Today is May 24th and have not received order or a reply to email.  
 
This company does not give any customer service at all. Paid $72.49 and have not received anything. I will be going back to my Credit Card Company when I received my bill to reverse the charges.  
**Finally received a reply to my emails on May 24th. They resent the package and it arrived on May 27th. All is well but they could have avoided alot of problems by replying promptly. I won't use them again.

I put an order to purchase a Switech MCP-600 Pump, and some Switech Hydrx fluid. I then emailed them regarding lower shippings costs, since I live 10 minutes from their store location. It has been a week since I have ordered, and they have yet to send me a shipping number, reply any of my emails and reply my phone calls. I have already been charged on my credit card, and I'm quite unhappy with the lack of response. The site said it would be next day shipping, and will ship within 12-24 hours. I'm very disappointed.

Sorry that I have to go against general opinion here. The service was not timely at all! Five days from the placing of the order to an invoice being printed. Another 5 days for the order to arrive! The product was defective and another 4 days passed before I was told to send it back at my expense. I was told that the replacement modules had just arrived the same day my returned goods got to compu-vision. Yet it was another 8 days and a telephone call to find out from the Canada Post tracking information that my replacement parts had just went in the mail. A very poor experience for web shopping. As well I had to pay the shipping costs for the replacement item. I was told that I should contact the manufacturer (OCZ) for compensation. Any seller worth dealing with would either absorb that cost or obtain it from the manufacturer himself.

Please see my comments to the reseller's response at the bottom of this post.  
 
Horrible service, stay away at all costs....  
Ordered on 17th, all orders were marked has being in stock, payed for Express shipping. waited for my order to arrive, sent a first email Thursday on a email account the owner says to email him at if having problems with orders, sent email asking for shipping confirmation, no answer.  
 
Monday, mailman comes no order, sent a second email to which I received a response late Tuesday night saying his spam program rejected my emails fine I'll buy that excuse, but why did he not inform the costumer the order would be delayed because one of his parts was now backordered on the same day the order was made ? that's a week ago....  
The guy didn't even send my order yet, know he tells me one of the items is backordered, this is 6 days after purchase.....  
 
I sent a email demanding the items be shipped on the same day and that he reimburse me the missing part, to which I received a virulent email from the owner threatning to not honor my order and saying he didn't need my business bla bla bla just the worst online purchase experience ever..... stay away.  
 
Update, the owner has now decided NOT TO HONOR my purchase and "says" he refunded my credit card i hope he did, horrible horrible costumer service, stay away....  
 
To reply to the "Reseller's comments"  
I went to their forums, in there I found other users who had problems receiving their orders, in one of the posts the owner of the store says " if you have ANY problems with your order or shipping", EMAIL ME AT THIS EMAIL ADRESS which I used to try and contact the owner for a week.  
To have a spam filter on a corporate email is questionable to say the least but this does not excuse the fact that if you can't fulfill a costumer's order, you advise him the first day, I had to send 3 emails to get in touch with them and if I hadn't, he wouldnt have even bothered contacting the costumer, however you look at that, it's poor costumer service, I have purchased from numerous E-tailers from the web and always have received a email the same day when a item wasnt available , THATsS COSTUMER SERVICE.  
 
When I tried to explain what basic costumer service is to this guy, he threatened to refund my order and proceeded to scold me and tell me this was all my fault and if I didnt behave nice he was going to cancel my order, wow threatning to cancel a costumer and then cancelling a costumer's order without the consent of the purchaser is simply wrong buddy...  
 
I Told him twice to refund me the item not in stock and to ship me the rest of my order he replied by cancelling the total order and telling me to stick it...  
And beleive me he didn't use the nice written terms he put in this reply in the emails he sent me, they were condescending and totally unacceptable from a professional retailer, I will be contacing Swiftech also to advise them of their reseller's actions.  
 
Also, I can't beleive you put in your reponse "you can't be bothered to check your emails" at times.  
What a crock of.... If you don't have the time to do it, hire someone to do it, excuses don't cut it, I know I do the same thing you do, I AM A E-RETAILERalso and I ship my items to costumers promptly and professionaly ALWAYS, no excuses........

Our customers can always contact us if they ever feel discomfort throughout their orders. The customer did indeed do this, but sent all his emails to the wrong account. An account we never use for replying to order issues. There are very few rules we follow, and one of them is asking our customers to send us their emails to the appropriate accounts so we can assist them better. We deal with many people on a daily basis and cannot be bothered to look at personal email accounts. When we see order related issues in personal accounts, we know off the bat the person who sent that email did not read our contact page. When we contacted Franky after receiving his email he was upset that the status of the Neoprene had been changed online. I had offered him various helpful alternatives, including a full refund on the spot. Not only did we try to help, but his emails replies were getting too demanding and vulgar asking us for things that we simply could not promise at the present time. We cannot offer a customer something we do not have in stock. His attitude started to offended us and was uncalled for. If he approached us in a better fashion he would have learned that we would have provided him with the same quality care we give to everyone. Instead, he decided to speak for both parties and the end result was us refusing his business and refunding his order. This was the better conclusion for both parties at this point and we strongly stick to this conclusion. We respect our business ethics and are sad you do not see eye to eye with us during your order process.

**Update - I recieved my order this morning (01/13/02) and everything is working fine. A credit for the express post charge would be appreciated. Is this a case of Canada Post not doing their job? Is Ralph drunk? Why aren't I wearing any pants?

My wife purchased come products from e-compuvision.com on Dec7 and paid for express post so it would arrive before xmas. She emailed Ralph mid-december to check on the status and was told that Canada Post couldn't track the order and that he would resend the package and provide a tracking number. Also she was informed that he was waiting for a shipment, as he was out of stock (not indicated on the order page, or in the first email). Days went by and she sent off another email to which Ralph responded with a tracking number that didn't work. Christmas came and went and still no package. Further email was sent with response times of between 3-7 days, one of which stated that the order would arrive in 2 days. 2 days passed and still no package. We called Canada Post and there is no record of the shipment, they also requested that Ralph called them to initiate a trace. We conveyed this to Ralph via email and have yet to recieve a response. The order was placed December 7, 2002 and express post was paid. It is now January 11, 2003 and I have yet to recieve my Christmas present. Good stuff.

ordered on oct 23 and phoned on the 25th. told it was shipped on the 24th or 25th.Got an e-mail with tracking number telling me it was shipped on the 28th.parcel arrived on Nov 4th. order was cod and final price at post office was a dollar more than price quoted on online invoice.  
 
I will consider shopping there again but i was not overly impressed with time between order date and ship date and being told it was shipped only to find out it wasnt shipped until three days after being told it was already shipped.  
 
The one feature that attracted me was the cod feature as i dont use credit cards and it is easier than a money order.  
 
overall i would rate them at 6.5-7.0/10

Well, I place a special order on the 16th of July, and was told on the 20th the details, and was made a new page to place the order.  
 
So, I placed the order, opted for C.O.D., and the total came to 195 CAD.  
 
So, a few weeks later (August 6th the day of item arrival) I get the item, however, the cost was off due to the box size used.... it came out to be 212 CAD....  
 
I can't say I'm entirely pleased due to the additional charges from the box size, but I won't say I'm disatisfied. I mean, how often do companies place custom orders? I just wish I would have paid a little less for a smaller box.....  
 
BTW, I received an emial, explaining why the extra charge, which I understand on their behalf, but I would have liked notification on this matter.  
 
"actual size of the box used to ship out your sound card safely was our first concern."

I put my order in after the new year on the 4th of January,  
just after e-Compuvision had revamped their their web site.  
On the 8th I was informed that they were going through some  
testing periods and that I would have to place my order again.  
I was also told that my visa account, which had already been  
charged, would be refunded and to place the order again at  
my convenience. The salesperson (Ralph) was prompt and courteous.  
While waiting for the refund I received notification on the 13th  
that the order had been sent and finally received the merchandise  
on the 18th. I did not have to go through the re-ordering process and my account was not refunded.  
Considering the problems they were having I am pleased with the  
transaction.

Ralph was most helpfull when I needed a replacement motherboard in a hurry.  
compuvision has competitive prices and friendly,prompt service.COD is a great option for me and makes me wish that they had an even greater selection of general computer hardware for me to choose from.

I placed my order for a new case and a vga cooler, and the next day I received a call to verify my purchase and address. Im glad he called because i ordered the wrong vga cooler for my card, and he fixed that on the spot, and put the cooler inside the case to save me shipping costs, i was very impressed, and I received my order 2 days later in perfect condition. I rate compuvision 10 outta 10!!

He is a good guy. I bought a Abit NF7 mothboard off of him on thursday december 11th. He shipped it the next day (friday) and it came to my door on monday. I was not home so I had to go get it at the post office the next day. I picked it up today, Shipping packing was real good (Styraphone(sp?), and newspaper)  
Overall I am VERY pleased with him and I will do business again. This is one of few computer stores that will do C.O.D. which is really great because not everyone has a credit card.
