Excellent prices, high quality, and a broad variety of computer components and fully- or partly-built computers, are all good reasons for shopping at KC Computers. But price, quality, and variety are not the best reasons. The best reason is the advice you get before the sale, and the lifetime support and advice you get after the sale--by far the best support I’ve ever encountered in the computer business, or in any other business.
When you have a question for KC Computers, you don’t wait on hold for half an hour or more until you eventually reach somebody who’ll read to you from a script that begins, “First, are you sure the computer is plugged in?” Instead, you send an e-mail message and receive a quick e-mail response (often a near-instantaneous response) that deals intelligently and succinctly with your particular problem. I’ve been a customer of Kevin Chalker’s (the KC in KC Computers) for six years now, on and off, and not once have I asked him a question he couldn’t answer, not once has he been anything but courteous, friendly, and encyclopedically knowledgeable.
KC Computers stands behind its products and its customers in a way that I truly believe is unique (and I do mean unique--unmatched by anything else) in the computer market. And if I sound like Kevin Chalker’s public relations firm, that’s because his public relations firm is very large: it’s made up of all his customers. If you’re in the market for a computer or a component, you’d be wise to join it.
I spent a pretty good chunk of time deciding on what I wanted for the system I ended up
purchasing from Kevin (the owner of KC Computers). Kevin made it incredibly easy to
decide exactly what I wanted to get by fielding every question I had and answering it on
email in a matter of minutes, in most cases (even, on one memorable occasion, at 2100 on a
Sunday)! He is extremely knowledgable on everything relating to computing and hardware,
and answered all of my questions, even the most basic.
I did a lot of comparison shopping as well, using pricewatch.com, but upon comparing
many of the lowest prices with their scores on this website, I discovered that the lower cost
meant a great chance of not getting what I wanted, along with not having the security of having
KC able to handle things at any time, and even ship me a new part before receiving the old one.
While I suppose you could get lucky with another company, it would be impossible to go wrong with
KC Computers. I highly recommend this company.
Have purchased three systems from KC Computers, most recently purchased two AMD machines for my business. Both machines were built and arrived in a timely fashion, all was as requested. During the order process, several suggestions were made by Kevin to lower my cost by eliminating items not really needed. How many companies will do this?
Over the past several years, I have purchased three PCs from Kevin at KC Computers for my home use. Each system was very affordable and performed flawlessly upon arrival. I can not recommend KC Computers highly enough.

Within five minutes of my request for quote, I heard back from Kevin (the owner) himself. The advice was helpful and the responses were all very prompt. KC is definitely a great resource (both advice and products) for the novice computer builder and I will recommend him to friends (as he was recommended to me).
Also, when I had motherboard problems, he spent a lot of time on email and the phone (including long distance calls by him) helping me figure out the problem. When we narrowed it to the MB, he immediately sent out a replacement to fix the problem. Also, his tech support help was very appreciated.

Needed three hard-to-find hard drives for our business and Kevin found them for us at an excellent price! I respect his professionalism and eagerness to help us out.
I have been very please with my purchases from KC Computers. They were very helpful and easy to work with. The computers arrive right on time. I have bought nine computers from them this year and would buy from them again.
This was my second major purchase from Kevin, and I could not be happier. His prices are great, and he's been very helpful in troubleshooting problems. He always answers email quickly, and any time I make another purchase, KC Computers is where I'll go.
I have dealt with Kevin and KC for close on 5 years now in a variety of component and system purchases. I've always received fast, professional, courteous service and personal attention on all questions or issues raised during my transactions no matter how "insignificant" or "trivial" I myself thought they might have been. This is a company that cares about the quality of its service and satisfaction of its clients to the highest degree and I wouldn't now nor ever hesitate to bring my future business to them.

Pure satisfaction. Emailed Kevin about what I wanted, went through a few intelligent back-and-forth emails on compatibility, got great advice, and placed my order (all same day). I needed the package to arrive at its destination on a specific date -- no problem. Took the system out of the box, slapped in a few cards and drives, and it worked perfectly first time out. Could not be happier with the entire experience, and will not be shopping anywhere else.

will not get burned. I had a custom built PC made by KC Computer. I was looking for
specific components. They were very quick. After a while the mainboard was having problems, and they replaced it with a new mainboard with an updated chipset no questions asked and without any additional fees. I was very impressed overall. They respond very quickly to e-mail. When I had various issues related to the OS (not hw), they assisted me
as if I was their only customer. Since I live local to this vendor, I would drop of my PC and they would reinstall the OS, and I would usually get my PC back in working order that day or the following! I download a lot of s/w and sometimes the OS can't handle it. Just recently, I built a new PC from parts I had and various other vendors. I was running into some snags and e-mailed KC Computer and they even gave me suggestions which worked, despite not making a $1 off this new PC. This is unheard of! In dealing with many other vendors, there is just no comparison. My experience with KC Computer was amazing and has set very high and really unrealistic expectations for other vendors. If I did not build my own PCs, there is no doubt who I would trust my hard earned money with.
